Mike Rowe Unloads on All-Inclusive ‘Scouts’ in Tucker Interview

In an interview this week with Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Eagle Scout Mike Rowe (who may have done a few notable things since) expressed concern over the recent changes in the Scouts, arguing that he hopes the organization would be “an antidote for the safe space environment that’s out there.”
Rowe made the remark when asked by Carlson about how “the scouts are no longer the Boy Scouts, but simply the Scouts” and how he felt about it.
“Well it’s funny you should ask, Tucker, because no less than 10,000 people have asked me that very question over the last month on my Facebook page,” Rowe said. “Distinguished Eagle Scout, if you’re keeping score. Five or six years ago, I was awarded that, and it was very touching.”
Rowe indicated that he was adopting a wait-and-see attitude with the new initiative, which would let girls into the Scouts, but felt there were some ominous signs.
“Look, I’m watching what’s happening very carefully,” he said. “I’ve sent 50 to 55,000 thousand letters out over the last 10 years to other Eagle Scouts, and I think the country needs the Scouts, I think the country needs the Future Farmers of America, and Skills USA, and 4H, desperately, now more than ever.
“So, it does concern me to see all the confusion swirling around the organization. But like so many wounds, I’m afraid many of these are self-inflicted, and I also think some of the confusion that’s going on is legitimate.
“I read their official statement — while girls are being welcomed in, I didn’t read anything about integrated camping trips, or troop meetings. I think it really is a play to compete more directly with the Girl Scouts. And I understand why the Girl Scouts are upset, but since when is competition a bad thing?
“So I think character development and leadership development have never been more important than they are today, so my hope is that the Boy Scouts assume the opportunity that’s presenting itself and become an antidote for the safe space environment that’s out there and push back a little bit. I mean, not to sound like the angry guy on your neighbor’s porch yelling at the kids on the lawn, but when I was in the Scouts in ’74 and ’75, it wasn’t a safe space there in the basement of our church. You’d go home with a bloody nose sometimes, or a black eye. We had a boxing ring.
“You know, it was a vibrant place where you really could test yourself and fail in a way, that on the one hand, made you safe enough to attempt, but on the other hand didn’t try to check every box and please every single person,” Rowe added. “It’s a tough time. I’m sympathetic for the leaders, but I’m afraid you’ve got to draw the line somewhere and be very, very clear about what you stand for as well as against.”
When asked whether he thought something was ending, Rowe was ambivalent.
“I don’t know. Again, you either evolve, or you die. But at the same time, I think people are confused, because the Scouts simply haven’t come out and said categorically what they’re for, right?” Rowe said.
James Woods Buries Pelosi After She Complains About Trump’s Booming Economy
Nancy Pelosi and James Woods are the two best advertisements for the Republican Party, albeit for different reasons. In Woods’ case, it’s for his Twitter feed. In Pelosi’s case, it’s because she provides so much material for it.
Pelosi, you may have heard, attacked the positive May jobs report that showed 3.8 percent unemployment, an 18-year low, and record low black unemployment of 5.9 percent.
Businesses added 223,000 jobs, well more than 159,000 in April. But, according to an unintentionally hilarious statement from Pelosi, President Donald Trump’s policies have undermined all of that economic progress — even though most of the problems she cited were generated by the Democrats.
“May’s jobs report shows that strong employment numbers mean little to the families hit with soaring new costs under the Republicans’ watch,” Pelosi said in the statement.
“Republicans’ cruel, cynical health care sabotage campaign is already spiking families’ premiums by double digits and pushing millions off their coverage, according to the nonpartisan CBO,” Pelosi said.
Wait, double-digit premium hikes? Gosh, I’ve never heard that before, except for nearly every year under Obamacare, the strictures of which are mostly fueling the premium increases. Also, this “cruel, cynical health care sabotage” involves removing the onerous individual mandate, which forces younger, healthier (and generally less wealthy) Americans to subsidize the care of older Americans or pay a tax penalty.
If the Democrats wanted to stop this, they could simply help pass a comprehensive health care bill that repealed all of the provisions of Obamacare and started with a fresh slate and an eye toward reducing premiums and increasing consumer choice. (But I digress, as I always do.)
“Big Pharma continues to hoard the benefits of the GOP tax scam, using their handouts to further enrich executives and shareholders instead of lowering prescription drug costs for seniors and sick kids,” Pelosi’s statement continued. “At the same time, the President’s reckless policies are exploding gas prices, wiping out the few meager gains that some families should have received from the GOP tax scam, as wages remain stagnant.”
Wait, low gas prices are a Democrat priority? These are the people who have obstructed both Arctic National Wildlife Refuge drilling and the Keystone Pipeline, and begged Trump to stay with the Paris Accord, yet now House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is concerned about “exploding gas prices?” Also, if you keep on calling tax cuts “the GOP tax scam,” it doesn’t actually stop them from working.
“From day one, the White House and Republicans in Congress have sold out working and middle class families to further enrich the wealthy and big corporations shipping jobs overseas,” Pelosi’s statement continued. “Thanks to the massive windfall of the GOP tax scam, Wall Street and wealthy corporations are on track to spend $1 trillion on dividends and stock buybacks while simultaneously announcing tens of thousands of layoffs and shipping jobs overseas and refusing to raise workers’ wages.”
I feel like this whole thing should be narrated by Michael Moore and soundtracked to a Rage Against A Machine tune. But as Hollywood’s most outspoken conservative, Woods, may have had the best summary dismissal of this farrago of economic lament:

Yes, remember those horrible Reagan years? Remember how we were all poor back then? Oh wait, no we weren’t. And the Democrats were furious, because their whole game relied on the idea of having more Americans enmeshed in their “safety net.”
So, four short years after Ronald Reagan had begun extricating us from the malaise of the Carter years, Walter Mondale and the Democrats were saying that “in the real America, millions are still trying to make it and need a fair chance,” which meant taking America back to the Carter years (and beyond).
Thirty-four long years later, the GOP and President Trump are extricating the nation out of the economic malaise of the Obama years, and Nancy Pelosi is telling us that “Democrats know that the American people deserve A Better Deal, with Better Jobs, Better Wages and a Better Future.” The words are slightly rearranged, but the message is the same: Let’s go back to where we were.
Americans didn’t fall for it then. They shouldn’t fall for it now. In their own ways, James Woods and Nancy Pelosi have provided two of the best arguments as to why the “blue wave” would be horrible for America.

Ireland Betrays Its Own People – And Signs The Death Warrant Of The Unborn
A major political showdown took place in Ireland, where pro-lifers fought tooth-and-nail to protect the 8th Amendment, which outlaws most abortions in Ireland.
But the wolves came out of the shadows, and Ireland’s so-called “pro-life” groups, coupled with elitist celebrities ran a brutal campaign, turning their back on the Irish people.
And now, the results of the referendum to repeal the 8th are horrifying, and Ireland is set to enter into a dark era.
Even worse, it happened because of the Irish people’s refusal to stand up for life.
The referendum was centered around repealing the 8th Amendment, which protected both the mother and her unborn baby.
But it’s estimated a whopping 64 percent of people in Ireland voted to repeal this law, making abortion ready and accessible.
While many voted to make abortion law of the land, the Irish people have no idea how much innocent blood is about to be shed.

Innocent babies, who were once protected by the law, are now being sent to the slaughter.
Not only have the Irish people betrayed their own, but they’ve proved just how deep liberals have infiltrated the once pro-life nation.
The people had the chance to protect life, but they sided with the politicians.
And of course, liberals brought out all the big guns for their move to promote abortion and advocate for killing the unborn.
As Mommy Underground previously reported, liberal Liam Neeson came out swinging, calling the 8th Amendment an “injustice” to women.
As if ripping out an innocent unborn child, is somehow justice.
And sadly, many so-called “pro-life” groups in Ireland had the chance to speak out, yet they were silent.
Instead of encouraging their members to vote to protect unborn babies, some Catholic groups refused to advise members how to vote.

“The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SSVP) in Ireland is under fire for telling its members that it would not be advising them how to vote in Friday’s referendum, saying that this was a “personal decision for each member, based on their own views.”
As those who were in favor cheer in the streets at “winning” the latest political battle, those who remained silent during this critical time, have blood on their hands.
Courage means standing up for what is right, even when it isn’t popular.
The cheers may drown out the cries of the unborn, who thanks to their own people, no longer have a shot at life.

George Soros’ PAC pulls out of San Diego district attorney race

After putting out misleading ads, Soros’ political action committee has withdrawn its support in the San Diego District Attorney’s race.
No Race Too Small
To those that think Soros only dabbles in big politics, this race is proof Soros is trying to infect our country at its most basic levels.
Soros established a PAC, the California Justice & Public Safety PAC, to back a far-left public defender, Genevieve Jones-Wright, in the DA race.
The organization put out an ad against her opponent, DA Summer Stephan, criticizing how slowly the DA’s office was processing rape kits.
The only problem was the ad was misleading and completely false.
After coming under public pressure, the PAC has taken Soros’ $1.5 million and its support for the radical liberal out of the race entirely.
Uh Oh
This is what we like to refer to as the “Uh Oh” moment for Jones-Wright.
She more or less put all of her eggs in one basket when Soros came aboard.
Like his other puppets, she figured Soros’ deep pockets would push her right through to win the election.
While Soros has backed off, Jones-Wright does still have the support of Shaun King, a “journalist” and major Black Lives Matter supporter.
King, though, as you may recall, was behind the slanderous attacks against a Texas state trooper after he was wrongfully accused of assaulting a black woman.
Those allegations were proven to be 100% false after body cam footage was revealed.
While King himself, nor the woman accuser, ever apologized to the officer, the woman’s attorney at least had the courage to stand up in public and apologize for the erroneous charges made against the trooper.
All Eyes On
Soros’ involvement in this race is not an aberration, either.
The megadonor has managed to fly under the radar in several DA races throughout our country.
Soros has also backed candidates in states such as Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
Sadly, and mostly because of Soros’ deep pockets and deceptive advertising, his candidates have been winning more than losing.

Pelosi’s statement marks a serious turning point. She has made it blatantly clear that for her, aliens, including aliens who rape, torture, kill and dismember others, often children, are worthy of protection and respect.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if she treated the victims of these vicious savages with half as much concern or reverence as she demonstrated for MS-13 gang members?

The CBP estimates that apprehensions of minors this year may reach 90,000.”
That massive child trafficking went down when POTUS 44 occupied the White House. If the old-line establishment media bosses want to recover from this fakery, they should run some detailed, accurate stories on the previous administration.

On Tuesday, Hamas fired an enormous wave of mortars into Israel, striking an Israeli kindergarten but causing no injuries. Hundreds of thousands of Israelis were forced to bunkers to weather the attack. That wave of mortars followed an attempt over the weekend by Islamic Jihad terrorists to cut through the Gaza border in order to murder Israelis in their beds; during the chase, terrorists fired at Israeli troops. One terrorist was killed, and another injured. The Israeli Defense Forces also announced that several days ago, Hamas attempted to fly a drone loaded with explosives over the border.
Israel has retaliated with targeted strikes against Islamic Jihad positions in the Gaza Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted out:

The media coverage of Hamas’ and Islamic Jihad’s latest acts of terrorism has been skimpy at best, even though just two weeks ago, the media went full-coverage over terrorist-organized riots on the Gaza border during the US’ Jerusalem embassy move. During those riots, Hamas announced that the vast majority of Palestinians killed had been Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists, and stated openly that they were attempting to use protests at the border as a cover for paramilitary action. Nonetheless, the American and European media insisted that Israel was firing indiscriminately at peaceful protesters, and that the Jerusalem embassy move had been the cause of the violence.
It’s rather inconvenient to the media’s narrative that Hamas and Islamic Jihad continue to be terrorists groups rather than peaceful protesters. So they’ll simply minimize their coverage, or pretend that the current action by Hamas and Islamic Jihad is somehow a “response” to supposed Israeli brutality in an area Israel vacated over a decade ago.

The FBI’s spygate is not going away.In fact, every day new revelations come to light that show the FBI cutting corners in their scheme to spy on Donald Trump.
Now former FBI agents are speaking out and what they have to say is bad news for Comey and the anti-Trump FBI.
Cambridge professor Stefan Halper has been named in published reports as the spy who worked to insert himself into the Trump campaign.
Halper contacted three Trump campaign aides – Carter Page, George Papadopoulos and Sam Clovis – to try and build a relationship.
That was bad enough.
But now a bombshell report reveals that Halper was both an on and off the record source for the media where he attacked Trump confidante Lt. General Michael Flynn and used fake news to claim Flynn was involved with a Russian agent.
Halper – who apparently sees Russian spies in every closet and under every bed – was apparently an unnamed source for stories claiming Flynn’s relationship with Svetlana Lokhova, a researcher at Cambridge who studied Russian intelligence, had crossed the line.
Flynn – who sat next to Lokhova at a dinner when he visited Cambridge in 2014 – was the subject of media speculation for failing to disclose to intelligence authorities his contact with a foreign national.
Halper played up the allegations and went even further by claiming Lokhova was a spy.
But the two merely sat next to each other at dinner, and such a contact would not have warranted disclosure.
Lokhova tweeted that the accusations were meant to smear her.

'FBI confidential informant' Halper invented a false story which he passed on to official channels & Press, in full knowledge his personal attack was going to cause me, an innocent party, enormous harm. Is branding me a whore and a traitor OK? Does the end justifies the means?
Halper resigned from the Cambridge Intelligence Seminar in 2016 by making a public statement about how the group had been infiltrated by Russians.
There is no evidence this is the case and Halper did not provide any proof to back up his allegations.
The Daily Caller contacted two former FBI agents – James Gagliano and Ron Hosko – and both blasted the FBI for allowing Halper to be a media source.
Gagliano told the Daily Caller that these press interactions could harm any legal case, “This is something that is highly irregular and not something that I would have ever tolerated with any of the folks working for me. The road is fraught with peril when somebody is speaking off the cuff or speaking to the media and putting themselves in a position where that can then be used as discovery material when we do bring a case.”
Hosko went further saying Halper speaking to the press could undermine his credibility, telling the Daily Caller, “an informant’s interactions with the press could create circular reporting that would serve to make their information ‘appear more valuable or more true” than it actually is.”
Halper – and the FBI’s – credibility are in tatters.
The Bureau allowed an asset to violate protocol on how a spy should operate.
That calls into question what other shortcuts they used in this matter.
And Halper has established a reputation of being a wild-eyed academic who sees Russian infiltration around every corner.
Halper has twice made baseless accusations of Russian spies lurking at Cambridge and falsely accused one Trump campaign aide – Michael Flynn – of being compromised by the Russians.
Critics wonder if Halper was chosen to spy on Trump campaign aides precisely because of his history of overhyping Russian plots—knowing they could count on him to provide hyped intelligence that could be used to justify further spying on the Trump campaign.
There is evidence this could be the case.
A FISA warrant against Carter Page was renewed multiple times and finally ended in September 2017.
Coincidentally, that was the month Halper cut off contact with Page.
Did the FBI use an unreliable spy to cook the books on the intelligence used to justify the warrant to spy on Page?
