FBI Agent’s Text Messages Hint Loretta Lynch Knew Comey Would Exonerate Hillary
With each passing day, it becomes more evident that the FBI, the Department of Justice, and the Obama Administration were all clearly coordinating their efforts to exonerate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the investigation involving her handling of classified information on a private email server.
New evidence suggests they’re still coordinating to stonewall any further investigation.
The Senate Homeland Security Committee released nearly 400 additional pages of text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and his girlfriend, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, late last week.
You may recall, Strzok was a key player in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s original Russia probe against the Trump Administration. He had to be reassigned when numerous previous messages showed what Congressman Trey Gowdy described as a clear and “unprecedented” level of bias “you rarely see” from FBI officials.
Among the fresh batch of text messages was one particular gem that appears to indicate former Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch had been coordinating with former FBI Director James Comey, even suggesting she knew in advance that he would decline to press charges against Clinton.
In a message dated July 1, 2016, Page wrote to Strzok – “And yeah, it’s a real profile in couragw [sic], since she (Lynch) knows no charges will be brought.”
Comey cleared Clinton of any criminal wrongdoing just four days later. Worse, Comey didn’t even interview Clinton – the subject of the investigation – until July 2nd, indicating Lynch was well-aware that she would be cleared even before she had been questioned.
Even getting this much information has been akin to pulling teeth, as the FBI is also claiming that additional text messages between Strzok and Page, whose preservation is required by law, have somehow been lost.
According to a cover letter accompanying the Senate Homeland Security Committee’s release, five months-worth of messages were lost due to a technical glitch involving softwareupdates on the FBI officials phones.
The FBI informed Congress that its “technical system for retaining text messages sent and received on FBI mobile devices failed to preserve text messages for Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page from December 14, 2016 to approximately to [sic] May 17, 2017.”
Funny, since Strzok and Page also sent messages discussing ways to circumvent discovery of those very messages.
Page wrote in April of 2016, “so look, you say we text on that phone when we talk about Hillary because it can’t be traced…”
In her book “What Happened” Clinton discussed the infamous meeting between her husband and Lynch on a tarmac in Phoenix, saying it was absurd to think that the Attorney General could be compromised.
“There’s no doubt that the optics were bad, but that didn’t give Comey carte blanche to ignore Justice Department policies and overstep his bounds,” she wrote. “The implication that Lynch, a distinguished career prosecutor, was suddenly compromised and couldn’t be trusted is outrageous and insulting.”
It’s not outrageous any longer and appears to extend well beyond Lynch. Comey, Strzok, the FBI and the Department of Justice have all clearly been compromised.
ABOUT TRUMP’S LACK OF DECORUM, DIGNITY, AND STATESMANSHIP
My Leftist friends (as well as many ardent NeverTrumpers) constantly ask me if I’m not bothered by Donald Trump’s lack of decorum. They ask if I don’t think his tweets are “beneath the dignity of the office.” Here’s my answer:
We Right-thinking people have tried dignity. There could not have been a man of more quiet dignity than George W. Bush as he suffered the outrageous lies and politically motivated hatreds that undermined his presidency.
We tried statesmanship. Could there be another human being on this earth who so desperately prized “collegiality” as John McCain?
We tried propriety – has there been a nicer human being ever than Mitt Romney?
And the results were always the same. This is because, while we were playing by the rules of dignity, collegiality and propriety, the Left has been, for the past 60 years, engaged in a knife fight where the only rules are those of Saul Alinsky and the Chicago mob.
I don’t find anything “dignified,” “collegial” or “proper” about Barack Obama’s lying about what went down on the streets of Ferguson in order to ramp up racial hatreds because racial hatreds serve the Democratic Party.
I don’t see anything “dignified” in lying about the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi and imprisoning an innocent filmmaker to cover your tracks.
I don’t see anything “statesman-like” in weaponizing the IRS to be used to destroy your political opponents and any dissent.
Yes, Obama was “articulate” and “polished” but in no way was he in the least bit dignified,” “collegial” or “proper.”
The Left has been engaged in a war against America since the rise of the Children of the ‘60s. To them, it has been an all-out war where nothing is held sacred and nothing is seen as beyond the pale.. It has been a war they’ve fought with violence, the threat of violence, demagoguery and lies from day one – the violent take-over of the universities – till today.
The problem is that, through these years, the Left has been the only side fighting this war. While the Left has been taking a knife to anyone who stands in their way, the Right has continued to act with dignity, collegiality and propriety.
With Donald Trump, this all has come to an end. Donald Trump is America’s first wartime president in the Culture War.
During wartime, things like “dignity” and “collegiality” simply aren’t the most essential qualities one looks for in their warriors.
Ulysses Grant was a drunk whose behavior in peacetime might well have seen him drummed out of the Army for conduct unbecoming.
Had Abraham Lincoln applied the peacetime rules of propriety and booted Grant, the Democrats might well still be holding their slaves today. Lincoln rightly recognized that, “I cannot spare this man. He fights.”
General George Patton was a vulgar-talking. In peacetime, this might have seen him stripped of rank. But, had Franklin Roosevelt applied the normal rules of decorum then, Hitler and the Socialists would be five decades into their thousand-year Reich.
Trump is fighting. And what’s particularly delicious is that, like Patton standing over the battlefield as his tanks obliterated Rommel’s, he’s shouting, “You magnificent bastards, I read your book!”
That is just the icing on the cake, but it’s wonderful to see that not only is Trump fighting, he’s defeating the Left using their own tactics.
That book is Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals – a book so essential to the Liberals’ war against America that it is and was the playbook for the entire Obama administration and the subject of Hillary Clinton’s senior thesis. It is a book of such pure evil, that, just as the rest of us would dedicate our book to those we most love or those to whom we are most indebted, Alinsky dedicated his book to Lucifer.
Trump’s tweets may seem rash and unconsidered but, in reality, he is doing exactly what Alinsky suggested his followers do.
First, instead of going after “the fake media” — and they are so fake that they have literally gotten every single significant story of the past 60 years not just wrong, but diametrically opposed to the truth, from the Tet Offensive to Benghazi, to what really happened on the streets of Ferguson, Missouri — Trump isolated CNN. He made it personal.
Then, just as Alinsky suggests, he employs ridicule which Alinsky described as “the most powerful weapon of all.”
Most importantly, Trump’s tweets have put CNN in an untenable and unwinnable position. They need to respond. This leaves them with only two choices. They can either “go high” (as Hillary would disingenuously declare of herself and the fake news would disingenuously report as the truth) and begin to honestly and accurately report the news or they can double-down on their usual tactics and hope to defeat Trump with twice their usual hysteria and demagoguery.
The problem for CNN (et al.) with the former is that, if they were to start honestly reporting the news, that would be the end of the Democratic Party they serve.
It is nothing but the incessant use of fake news (read propaganda) that keeps the Left alive.
Imagine, for example, if CNN had honestly and accurately reported then-candidate Barack Obama’s close ties to foreign terrorists (Rashid Khalidi), domestic terrorists (William Ayers), the mafia (Tony Rezko) or the true evils of his spiritual mentor, Jeremiah Wright’s church.
Imagine if they had honestly and accurately conveyed the evils of the Obama administration’s weaponizing of the IRS to be used against their political opponents or his running of guns to the Mexican cartels or the truth about the murder of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and the Obama administration’s cover-up
So, to my friends on the Left — and the Never-Trumpers as well — do I wish we lived in a time when our president could be “collegial” and “dignified” and “proper”? Of course I do. These aren’t those times. This is war. And it’s a war that the Left has been fighting without opposition for the past 50 years.
So, say anything you want about this president - I get it - he can be vulgar, he can be crude, he can be undignified at times. I don’t care. I can’t spare this man. He fights for America!

Trump's budget chief says shutdown could last more than a week

What you need to know about a government shutdownOffice of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney on Sunday predicted that the government shutdown could last more than a week.
“I think Democrats want to see the president give the State of the Union under a shutdown,” he said on "Fox News Sunday."
Mulvaney said Democrats want to hurt President Trump by keeping the government closed.
He also said, however, that negotiations are continuing on ending the shutdown and “there’s a chance it gets solved before Monday.”
Trump’s first State of the Union is scheduled for Jan. 30.

Fox News star Tucker Carlson had an illegal immigrant Cesar Vargas on his show — and one brilliant question had Cesar Vargas stammering, unable to answer.Vargas is a self-declared illegal immigrant that also uses a legal loophole to remain in America — and practices law.
Carlson, though, wasn’t about to back down.
“Let me ask you a really simple question: If more immigration always makes the country richer, then why does the state with the most immigration, which is California, keep getting poorer?” Carlson asked. “It now has more poverty than any state. One out of five
Californians is poor. If immigration makes us richer, why is California getting poorer? What is the answer to that I wonder?”
Vargas had no answer. He ducked and dodged and stammered, but he couldn’t come up with an effective retort.
“Well I would just say that California has a surplus of more than $10 billion into their state economy. Why?” Vargas responded. “Because many factors. But, because it’s a welcoming state…”
“Wait a second. Wait a second!” Carlson said, holding Vargas’ feet to the fire. “California has gotten poorer — one in five Californians is poor. That was not the case when I grew up in California. It has the most immigration.”
“So if immigration always makes us more prosperous, why is the opposite happening in California?” Carlson asked. “It’s a very simple question.”
Vargas continues to dodge the point — and Carlson brings home the argument with a slam dunk.
“How about this: Why don’t we stop with the magical thinking and get real? Because things are changing really fast in this country, and we care about our country, we want it to be the best it can be,” Carlson said. “And the point is not to make other countries happy, it’s to protect our people. So, I hope you’ll give us a pass on trying to think that through in a rational way.”
Hard to argue that.

Democrats vote to hide ‘FISA memo’ in flagrant coverup
Jonathon Colman / CCLPresident Obama promised that his administration would be “the most transparent administration in American history.” This, of course, would become one of the many promises broken by during his administration.
As President Trump continues to dismantle Obama’s legacy piece-by-piece, Democrats are scrambling to save the last vestige of Obama’s presidential legacy: his popularity among the American people. On Thursday, Democrats in the House Intelligence Committee unanimously voted against a motion to allow members of Congress to see a classified memo that allegedly contains proof of the U.S. government’s abuses of FISA surveillance under the Obama administration.
Democrats are claiming national security concerns, while some Republicans insist that the exposure of the memo may cause people to “go to jail.”
Go Directly to Jail
Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla. has been an outspoken critic of Mueller and a strong proponent of releasing the memo.
The Washington Examiner reported on Gaetz’s interview on Fox News where Gaetz shared his thoughts on the memo:
On Fox News Gaetz went further, saying he believes people could “go to jail” due to the contents of the memo and the Mueller-led investigation, which is examining possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin, is “a lie built on corruption.” He also said it became clear to him why Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., recommended the Justice Department criminally investigate the author of the Trump dossier, former British spy Christopher Steele.
However, not all of the members of Congress agree that the memo should be released. Adam Schiff (D-Calif), a top-ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, stated that the memo was a “profoundly misleading set of talking points.” He elaborated:
[T]he Majority voted today on a party-line basis to grant House Members access to a profoundly misleading set of talking points drafted by Republican staff attacking the FBI and its handling of the investigation. Rife with factual inaccuracies and referencing highly classified materials that most of Republican Intelligence Committee members were forced to acknowledge they had never read, this is meant only to give Republican House members a distorted view of the FBI.
He continued: “This may help carry White House water, but it is a deep disservice to our law enforcement professionals.”
If Adam Schiff is correct in his accusations regarding the misleading nature of the memo, then why would he not submit a motion to the House Intelligence Committee to review the data that was used to create the memo? There must be some way to vet the information and the organization that pieced together the data for the memo.
Clearly, being one of the top-ranking members of the House Intelligence Committee would put Schiff in a prime position to disprove or debate the information in the memo. Schiffs’ committee receives regular classified briefings on matters of national security from the intelligence community, unlike the rest of Congress. But Schiff doesn’t seem to want to get specific beyond blanket condemnations of the memo.
Obama, Not Trump is Anti-Press
Former President Obama’s administration openly bragged about being “scandal free” and extremely “transparent.” However, that is far from the truth. According to none other than the Washington Post, the Obama administration was one of the most secretive and elusive administrations in history.
The Post details how the Obama administration punished whistleblowers and leakers while unleashing an untold number of drone strikes in the Middle East with little to no oversight or accountability. It is not known how many terrorists or civilians were killed as a result of the drone strikes.
The New York Times has also detailed the Obama administration’s aggressiveness towards journalists, reporting:
Over the past eight years, the administration has prosecuted nine cases involving whistleblowers and leakers, compared with only three by all previous administrations combined. It has repeatedly used the Espionage Act, a relic of World War I-era red-baiting, not to prosecute spies but to go after government officials who talked to journalists.
Under Mr. Obama, the Justice Department and the F.B.I. have spied on reporters by monitoring their phone records, labeled one journalist an unindicted co-conspirator in a criminal case for simply doing reporting and issued subpoenas to other reporters to try to force them to reveal their sources and testify in criminal cases.
In contrast, despite his aggressive rhetoric, President Trump has yet to carry out any direct hostile actions against the press.

For one, the American people witnessed just how desperate outlets like CNN are to sanctimoniously attack the president based on rumors and hearsay.
At the same time, the ruckus cast a spotlight on just how bad Haiti is, and reminded people about a scandal that implicates the Clinton’s in exploiting the island for their own personal gain.
When a devastating earthquake hit Haiti in 2010, the supposedly non-profit Clinton Foundation jumped at the chance to step in — and had no problem accepting millions of dollars of people’s money to do it.
There’s one big problem: Critics allege that much of the money never actually ended up helping the Haitian people… but it may have helped Chelsea Clinton.
After the now famous email leak from within the Democrat party, several back-and-forth messages were revealed which raise serious questions about how Clinton Foundation funds — including, no doubt, money earmarked for Haiti — was actually used.
The biggest question is whether Foundation resources helped pay for Chelsea Clinton’s lavish wedding, which also took place in 2010.
Former President Bill Clinton was so intent on dispelling that claim that he used Twitter to deny it… but came across as a bit over-eager.
“No Clinton Foundation funds—dedicated to Haiti or otherwise—were used to pay for Chelsea’s wedding,” the 42nd president declared on Twitter. “It’s not only untrue, it’s a personal insult to me, to Hillary, and to Chelsea and Marc.”
Yes, an adulterer who was impeached by Congress is “personally insulted.” Remember, this is a person who is a known, proven liar, and was censured for perjury. His lying under oath resulted in him being disbarred from ever practicing law. But just trust him on this one.

Resources. Funds. It looks like Clinton might have been trying to pull another one of his Slick Willie maneuvers. You can just imagine him slyly testifying in his strained voice: “That depends on what your definition of the word ‘funds’ is. I did not inhale.”
WikiLeaks then linked to the smoking gun: A leaked email from 2012, showing a concerned conversation between various Clinton insiders, including John Podesta and Doug Band.
“I just received a call from a close friend of wjcs [William J. Clinton’s] who said that cvc [Chelsea V. Clinton] told one of the bush 43 kids that she is conducting an internal investigation of money within the foundation from cgi to the foundation,” a worried Doug Band wrote.
“Not smart,” he cautioned.
In a follow-up email within the same thread, the Clinton insider dropped a bombshell.
“The investigation into her getting paid for campaigning, using foundation resources for her wedding and life for a decade, taxes on money from her parents….” Band wrote about Chelsea Clinton. “I hope that you will speak to her and end this.” Emphasis added.
Plain as day, it looks very much like Clinton allies were openly alarmed that the use of Clinton Foundation “resources” would be uncovered, and were cautioning Chelsea and others to stop before they were found out.
We don’t know the full scale of this situation, or exactly how all of the Foundation funds were used. What we do know is that the Clinton’s have a frustrating history of corruption and scandals… and Bill Clinton’s word is worth about as much as a fading “I’m With Her” bumper sticker.
If Clinton Foundation “resources” were used in any way to cover Chelsea’s “rich one percenter” wedding, it means that funds which could have gone to help Haiti were instead used on a president’s spoiled daughter.
Whether or not the money was specifically marked for Haiti is irrelevant; using resources from a non-profit group to cover personal luxuries while thousands of Haitians were dying of disease and starvation is simply wrong.
If this email means what it appears to say, then the media should be far less outraged about a rude word Trump said, and a lot more angry that one of the most powerful families in liberal politics raided Haiti like a broken piggy bank.

The explosive FISA memo that supposedly details wrongdoing by the Department of Justice against President Trump shouldn’t be released because the American people wouldn’t understand what it means, according to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).Schiff, a top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, was asked by CNN host Ana Cabrera if the FISA memo should be released to the public for them to draw their own conclusions.
“Well, because the American people unfortunately don’t have the underlying materials and therefore they can’t see how distorted and misleading this document is,” Schiff told her.
“The Republicans are not saying make the underlying materials available to the public. They just want to make this spin available to the public. I think that spin, which is a attack on the FBI, is just designed to attack the FBI and Bob Mueller to circle the wagons for the White House. China’s Intelligence Networks in United States Include 25,000 Spies
Dissident reveals up to 18,000 Americans recruited as Chinese agentsi

Beijing's spy networks in the United States include up to 25,000 Chinese intelligence officers and more than 15,000 recruited agents who have stepped up offensive spying activities since 2012, according to a Chinese dissident with close ties to Beijing's military and intelligence establishment.
Guo Wengui, a billionaire businessman who broke with the regime several months ago, said in an interview that he has close ties to the Ministry of State Security (MSS), the civilian intelligence service, and the military spy service of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).
"I know the Chinese spy system very, very well," Guo said, speaking through an interpreter, in his first American interview. "I have information about very minute details about how it operates."
Guo said he learned about Chinese spy activities from Ma Jian, a former MSS vice minister, and Ji Shengde, former PLA military intelligence chief.
Ma was director of MSS's No. 8 Bureau, in charge of counterintelligence against foreign targets—including diplomats, businessmen, and reporters—until he was swept up in a Beijing power struggle in December 2015. He was expelled from the Communist Party and imprisoned in January.
Guo said Ma was imprisoned because he had uncovered details of corruption by China's highest-ranking anti-corruption official, Wang Qishan.
Ma said in a video made public by the Chinese government several weeks ago that he worked with Guo in assisting Chinese national security.
Regarding, Ji, the military spy chief, Guo said he had close ties to him and turned down requests from Ji to work as a smuggler for 2PLA, as the military spy agency was known.
Ji was implicated in the 1990s scandal involving Chinese funding of Bill Clinton's presidential re-election campaign. In China, he was given a suspended death sentence by a military court in 2000 on charges of bribery and illegal fundraising.
Ji lives in China and his wife currently resides in Los Angeles, and Guo said he paid money to Ji for 25 years as part of China's use of businesses to support intelligence activities.
"I know Ma Jian had been working state security system for over 30 years," he said. "And he was responsible for sending out spies as well as for counter espionage, also vis a vis the U.S. So, Ma Jian knows everything about the United States."
Guo is a Chinese real estate investor who fled China in 2015. He currently resides in New York City and since January has become a target of a major Chinese government campaign to silence him.
In May, two senior Chinese security officials traveled to the United States as part of a bid to pressure Guo into keeping silent, and not disclosing secrets about corruption among senior Chinese officials, as well as details of the intelligence activities.
The two officials, Sun Lijun, vice minister of the Public Security Ministry, and an aide, Liu Yanpang, also tried to convince Trump administration officials to forcibly repatriate Guo back to China amid claims of corruption.
Liu was arrested by the FBI for violating visa rules and his cell phone and laptop computer were confiscated before the Chinese official was allowed to leave the United States.
The Chinese officials, during meetings in Washington and New York and by phone, threatened Guo, his family, and business associates and said that if he remained silent, the government would release assets of Guo's that are frozen in China worth an estimated $17 billion.
Over the past several months Guo, who also uses the name Miles Kwok, began posting lengthy videos on Twitter and YouTube disclosing what he knows about Chinese corruption and intelligence activities.
One of the more explosive disclosures during an interview involve Wang, current head of the Chinese government's anti-corruption campaign and a member of the Chinese Communist Party Politburo Standing Committee, the collective dictatorship that rules China.
According to Guo, Wang secretly invested in California real estate since the late 1980s and has turned $30 million in purchases of 111 properties into an estimated $2 to $3 billion today.
Guo says he plans to detail Wang’s U.S. investments in a video to be published next week. The residences include homes and apartments in Washington and Bethesda in the east, and in California in Los Angeles, San Jose, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, San Carlos, and San Francisco. The video also shows a series of mansions owned by Wang family members in Saratoga, Calif. In total the residences cost $12 million and are worth some $30 million today.
Wang, according to Guo, is the official who took over as the top leader overseeing China's financial sector from Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji, who stepped down in 2003.
One neighborhood in California of 14 houses owned by Wang or his relatives has been fitted with special underground silos that are used to store jewelry and documents, Guo said.
"If the FBI could go in there and get those documents, then they can negotiate with the Chinese government," he said.
Guo said he plans to disclose additional details of alleged corruption by four other Chinese leaders, including Meng Jianzhu, a member of the Politburo but not the Standing Committee, and He Guoqiang, a retired official who was in charge of police and the courts
"In the future I will report on another two current sitting members of the Politburo Standing Committee, as well as two previous members of the Standing Committee," he said.
Regarding a report in the journal Foreign Affairs that the businessman represents a leadership faction in Beijing, Guo denied the report. He said he began speaking out as part of long-planned effort to bring democratic reform to China.
"What I want to do is change the whole system. That's what I want," he said.
Guo said Chinese police killed his brother and in 1989, when China called out troops to put down unarmed pro-democracy protesters in Beijing's Tiananmen Square, he was jailed for 22 months.

"I've prepared all that time until now," he said. "I want to change the Chinese government. Absolutely, the Chinese government is the mafia."
Guo said that Chinese intelligence operations in the United States sharply increased after the 2012 Communist Party Congress that brought current leader Xi Jinping to power.
"Before 2012, cumulatively China had around 10,000 to 20,000 agents working in the United States," he said. "These agents had been sent to work in the United States over a 50 year period of time, and they were working in a defensive mode."
According to the businessman, defensive intelligence was mainly focused on learning about the United States. The operations then shifted in 2012 to "offensive" spying, he said.
"By offensive [operations], I mean to be ready to destroy the U.S. in ways they can," Guo said.
China's budget for intelligence gathering before 2012 was around $600 million annually.
Around 2012, a decision was made by Chinese leaders to dispatch another 5,000 spies to the United States. "Some of them were sent as students, some as businessmen, and some as immigrants, but all together, 5,000," Guo said.
"In addition to that, they developed between 15,000 to 18,000 other spies, and these are not directly sent but these are developed within the United States."
The recruited agents are not limited to Asians and Chinese-Americans but include all ethnic groups, including Hispanics, Blacks, and Caucasians.
"And now the budget is between $3 billion to $4 billion annually, and this is information up to one month ago," he said.
Guo said American counterintelligence agencies face several problems, mainly a lack of knowledge about Chinese intelligence agencies.
"You don't know which organizations in China are responsible for sending these spies, how they are managed, and to what purpose," he said. "And the U.S. adopts a very legalistic perspective to look at the question of spying. Yet, for China their methods are not what the United States understands."
"These spies, when they come to the United States, they could sleep around, they could put poison in your glass of wine to kill you; completely unscrupulous," he said.
FBI spokesman Matthew Bertron declined to comment. A Chinese Embassy spokesman did not respond to emails seeking comment.
Chinese intelligence officers sent to the United States are controlled by the MSS by keeping all their family members and relatives hostage.
China's intelligence targets included several strategic areas of the United States.
"The first is to obtain military weapons-related technology. This is priority No. 1," Guo said.
Second, Chinese intelligence is engaged in "buying" senior U.S. officials personally, and a third objective is buying family members of American political or business elites "with a view to getting intelligence and to make big business deals in China's favor," he said.
A fourth priority is penetrating the American internet system and critical infrastructure by implanting malicious software.
"And they have successfully penetrated all the major defense weapons suppliers of the U.S. government," Guo said, adding that "the scale of their operations is mind boggling."
Guo said Ma, the MSS vice minister, told him that a major shift by the Chinese was expanding the scope of agent recruitment from Asians to mainstream ethnic groups.
"This is where the biggest danger lies," he said. "It's clear the situation is getting more and more dangerous now. The United States has the best weapons in its arsenal, such as laser weapons, etc. Yet, the Chinese spy system has penetrated into the bloodstream of American defense establishment with their viruses and everything else."
"The United States is bleeding and is unaware that sooner or later the United States will run out of blood," Guo said.
Also, the United States is overly reliant on technical spying while China has an asymmetrical advantage in using its tens of thousands of human spies.
China also is working to subvert the United States by working together with rogue regimes, such as those in North Korea and Iran.
"So in a fight between rogues and a gentleman, the rogues will always win," he said, "because the gentlemen fight a civilized war. The rogues do not fight a civilized war."
Guo said he first visited the United States in 1983 when he was 13 and made numerous visits since then.
"I love my nation. I love my country, but I hate the Communist Party," he said.
Guo has not defected to the United States and holds several foreign passports. His information could provide a windfall of data for the U.S. government policymakers and intelligence analysts.
For example, on North Korea, Guo said he frequently visited North Korea and has known every member of the ruling Kim Jong Un family.
"All the trade conducted between North Korea and China has been conducted by the relatives of the ruling families," he said, noting that the U.S. insistence in relying on the Chinese government to deal with North Korea is "madness."
In Hong Kong, the MSS dispatched an additional 3,000 intelligence officers to the former British colony after the May 2013 incident involving former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, who fled to Hong Kong after stealing some 1.7 million secret agency documents.
The MSS agents were dispatched by Ma Jian after the spy service learned the U.S. Consulate in Hong Kong was hosting some 2,600 American agents.
"The office they work for is the Hong Kong Security Department," Guo said, noting that before that time "it was more hit and miss approach" to spying.
"They upped that until now they have 10,000 agents operating in Hong Kong alone."
Guo said Americans need to understand that China is not ruled by a normal government.
"You should look at it as a mafia-like organization," he said.
Second, to understand China, Americans need to study the relatives of the ruling elite in China.
"Once you get to know the interests of these powerful individuals and also the family members, then you get to understand how the regime operates," he said.
Guo hopes the United States will wake up to the threat posed by China's communist system and its plans to subvert the U.S.-led international order.
"If this relationship is not managed well, I think the whole of humanity will confront major problems," he said. "The current approach adopted by the American ruling elite is tantamount to suicide."
Guo warned of the dangers of a world dominated by the current anti-democratic Chinese system.
"If we do not have the United States exercising some kind of control over the world system, the world will turn into a place where men eat men," he said.
Michelle Van Cleave, former national counterintelligence executive during the George W. Bush administration, said China has been preparing for a major escalation of espionage and influence operations against the Untied States.
"Remember their cyber theft of some 22 million personnel files from the Office of Personnel Management?" she said. "The Chinese now have a detailed roster of most if not all American contractors and government employees who have access to classified information, plus a roster of their friends, colleagues, or coworkers who may be useful conduits or potential assets in their own right."
Van Cleave said the OPM data likely will be used by Chinese intelligence to coerce, blackmail, or recruit new sources for an already extensive espionage infrastructure.
"Cyber and human espionage go hand in hand—and the Chinese excel at both," she said. "We urgently need a better understanding of what they are doing and how they are doing it—and a strategy to stop them—because China’s intelligence operations in the U.S. are poised to get much worse."
Former FBI counterspy I.C. Smith said the large number of MSS officers could be a reasonable estimate if the figure includes Chinese who work informally for the service such as students, permanent resident aliens, visitors, and others.
"China is no friend of ours and is never going to be a responsible member of the world community as long as the CCP is in power," Smith said.
"It's a reprehensible, morally and criminally corrupt police state run by a powerful elite whose every waking hour is to figure out how to capitalize on their positions and remain in power," he said.
