Wall art...enjoy…Trump releases video message to Obama, Clinton: ‘I Fulfilled My Campaign Promise’ Gage Skidmore / CCL; Marc Nozell / CCL; Eric Austin / CCLOn Friday morning President Donald Trump posted a video on Twitter reminding the American public that while his predecessors talked about recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, he actually followed through on his pledge to do so by moving the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
The video clip showed former Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama promising to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital city. It then showed Trump’s promise to do the same, and his ultimate fulfillment of that promise.

Trump’s Predecessors, All Talk No Action?The video featured a string of unkept promises from past Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.Bill Clinton in 1992: “Jerusalem is still the capital of Israel and must remain an undivided city accessible to all.”

As soon as I take office I will begin the process of moving the United States ambassador to the city Israel has chosen as its capital.
Barack Obama in 2008:
I continue to say that Jerusalem will be the capital of Israel. And I have said that before and I will say it again.

Trump in 2016:
We will move the American embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people, Jerusalem.
Then the payoff. Despite decades of insincere pledges, Trump reminded the American public that he, unlike the other presidents in the video, kept his promise:
My announcement today marks the beginning of a new approach to conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. While previous presidents have made this a major campaign promise, they failed to deliver. Today, I am delivering. Today we finally acknowledge the obvious. That Jerusalem is Israel’s capital. This is nothing more or less than a recognition of reality. It is also the right thing to do. It is something that has to be done.
Trump Just Enforcing The LawFox News political commentator Brit Hume took to Twitter after the decision:
It’s worth remembering amid the hand wringing that recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and moving our embassy there has been U.S. law for 22 years, reaffirmed recently. A succession of presidents has waived the law.

The law Hume references was signed in 1995. The legislation allows the American embassy to be relocated from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and for the U.S. to officially recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital.
However, the legislation does provide the option for the president to sign a national security waiver that temporarily suspends a formal declaration.
Every president has chosen to continue signing the waiver since the law was passed in 1995.
Trump repeatedly blasted traditional politicians for being “all talk and no action” during his campaign. It’s hard to argue with the evidence in this case.
While Trump’s unorthodox approach to politics already separated him from his predecessors, his execution of bold campaign promises continues to set him apart.

That was President Trump in a speech at the White House on Wednesday. The White House said Trump just had a dry mouth. But more questions came on Thursday at the daily White House briefing, and press secretary Sarah Sanders was miffed.
"Sarah, a question about his health, after he appeared yesterday — just on his health, how he appeared yesterday," a reporter asked.
"I know that there were a lot of questions on that — frankly, pretty ridiculous questions. The president's throat was dry. Nothing more than that," she said.
Then she added, "He does have a physical scheduled for the first part of next year, the full physical that most presidents go through. That will take place at Walter Reed, and those records will be released by the doctor following that taking place."
And just like that, the media got what they wanted. After the Russia collusion story started to falter, the press moved on to a new tack — Trump is nuts.
"Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough, a true Trump hater, claims Trump has dementia. On Thursday morning, Scarborough also claims to want to be "very careful" with the charge, but said he knows the symptoms because his mother suffered from the disease.
"Unfortunately in the case of my mother, I can move that to the side and I am totally fine with that," he said. "In this case, Donald Trump has control of nuclear weapons."
"This is not the person that we knew even three years ago. There’s a remarkable change," the MSNBC host said.
Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski have been pushing the story for months, even writing in a Washington Post op-ed that "We are both certain that the man is not mentally equipped to continue watching our show."
In a bizarre rant last week, Scarborough said Trump claimed that "people close to him during the campaign" have told him that Trump suffers from dementia. Scarborough went even further, saying the Constitution's 25th Amendment allows for Trump's removal from office — in fact, demands it.
"If this is not what the 25th Amendment was drafted for — I would like the Cabinet members, serving America, not the president, serving America ... you don't represent him," Scarborough said.
Talking directly to Trump, Scarborough said, "You represent 325 million people whose lives are literally in your hands, and we are facing a showdown with a nuclear power and you have somebody inside the White House that the New York Daily News says is mentally unfit; that people close to him say is mentally unfit; that people close to him during the campaign told me had early stages of dementia."
All recent presidents have had their annual physicals at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and the White House routinely releases summaries of the findings. During the 2016 campaign, when rumors circulated about Hillary Clinton's health, Trump released health records in a way only he could do — on the "Dr. Oz" show.
Trump's physician for the past 30 years, Dr. Harold Bornstein, wrote in a letter that Trump would "unequivocally ... [be] the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency." Bornstein said that Trump had "the stamina to endure — uninterrupted — the rigors of a punishing and unprecedented presidential campaign and, more importantly, the singularly demanding job of President of the United States."
But the letter also showed Trump weighed 236 pounds, which even at his 6-foot-2-inch stature puts him close to being classified as obese. And it revealed that Trump takes a statin for high cholesterol.

That’s actually an understatement. In fact, the entire Obama era seems to have been characterized by a complete and total failure to enforce the law.
A recent report by the Washington Examiner indicates the existence of a “deportation backlog of 550,000 illegal immigrants who were given temporary amnesty by former President Obama or simply let off the hook by liberal judges.”
The backlog is roughly equivalent to the population of Atlanta. That’s massive workload for Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and it’s compounded by the problem of sanctuary cities who won’t cooperate with ICE official’s efforts to deport convicted criminal aliens.
ICE Officials Blame Obama AdministrationThe shocking numbers came to light in a recent question and answer session with ICE officials. Reporters asked Matthew T. Albence, the Executive Associate Director for Enforcement and Removal Operations, his thoughts on the situation starting with a question about the number of illegals in the backlog.
“Ballpark is going to be around 550,000,” Albence responded. He went on to explain why the number was so high: “for a large part of the last four or five years we’ve been unable to take enforcement action against those individuals.”
Albence explained that under the Obama administration, most deportation actions were delayed beginning in 2014. “Our officers had to turn their heads and walk the other way. So that’s a large part of that problem, the fact that we couldn’t enforce the law.”
ICE Acting Director Thomas D. Homan also blamed liberal judges, “We need to hold liberal judges accountable,” he said.
Homan went on to excoriate sanctuary cities refusal to even allow ICE officials into city jails to round up criminal illegals. “There has to be a consequence and a deterrence to illegal activity or the illegal activity won’t stop.”
Homan praised recent efforts, beginning when Trump took office. “We’ve made a lot of headway this year, more than I’ve seen in a long time, and we’ve got to keep going down this road. We’ve got to keep momentum going,” he said.
Arrests Up 40 Percent Under TrumpA government report released Tuesday reveals that since Trump took office, ICE arrests have surged 40 percent from the same period a year earlier, despite no increase in funding. The statistics indicate that deportation officers are now free to do their job without restrictions from the executive branch.
In February, then-Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly jettisoned the Obama administration’s plan to limit deportations to threats to public safety, convicted criminals, and recent border crossers. It’s a sensible policy, and it’s also consistent with federal laws.
It seems the Obama administration’s strategy was simply to obstruct the enforcement of the law, thus effectively legalizing illegal immigration.
This dovetails neatly with radical Democrat activists’ plan to import illegals and change the demographics of the country, turning red states like Texas blue and enhancing the long-term viability of the Democratic party.
Trump has chosen a different strategy. Address the real issues of the American people and enforce the laws of the nation.

Chelsea Clinton raced to the front lines of this social media campaign and hurled one of the ugliest smears you will ever see.
But she instantly regretted her tweet after it blew up in her face.
The Supreme Court’s decision in Masterpiece Cakeshop vs. Colorado Civil Rights Division is the most hotly anticipated case of this term.
This case pits a Christian baker who is fighting for his religious liberty against a state that is scheming to crush his rights as a believer.
Jack Phillips – the Christian baker – cited his deeply held religious convictions for not baking a cake for a homosexual wedding.
He does not discriminate against homosexual customers, but he drew the line in participating in a homosexual wedding ceremony that ran opposite his Christian faith.
He even offered to recommend another baker who would be happy to produce their wedding cake.
The homosexual couple carried out a vindictive campaign to smear his reputation and ruin him financially as Phillips fought for his First Amendment rights to be free from being forced to carry out duties that crossed his religious convictions.
Christians – as well as believers of all faiths – are closely watching the decision.
If the Supreme Court rules against Phillips, that will mean all believers are denied the right to live their lives according to their faith.
The state will be able to say you can only be a Christian for this one hour on Sundays, but leave your beliefs at the door of your business.
Phillips and his lawyers argued that forcing a Christian baker to produce a homosexual wedding cake would be like asking a Jewish baker to design a cake with Nazi imagery.
Liberals don’t see it that way.
They worship government and want to stamp out all expressions of Christianity.
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) tweeted out that Phillips – and President Trump’s – defense of religious liberty was similar to segregationists who fought for blacks-only lunch counters.

Their over-the-top attack was not surprising.
But Chelsea Clinton retweeting this smear to her 2.1 million followers amplified the ugly attack.
Phillips is not segregating his business.
He is happy to serve homosexual customers.
But he is asserting his right to be a Christian and exercise his beliefs without government interference.
