Pride and Prejudice meets Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot in this humorous and heartfelt debut about a loving, quirky family on the hunt for the mythical Sasquatch.
Hunting for monsters was never so awkward.
It’s bad enough that Samantha’s parents, charter members of the Northern Ohio Bigfoot Society, have dragged their daughter around forever, hunting for yetis. But now they’re doing it on national TV, and worse, in front of an aristocratic prep-school crew including a boy who disdains Samantha’s family. But when he scorns her humble Ohio roots, she becomes determined to take him down.
As they go to war, their friction and attraction almost distract them from the hint that Sasquatch may actually be out there somewhere…
Author Question: What is your favorite thing about Sasquatch, Love, and Other Imaginary Things?
The unapologetically nerdy humor. How many puns can we make about Bigfoot? It turns out, it's a really high number. We hope you like puns.
We also enjoy the quotes at the beginning of each chapter from esteemed (fictional) journals such as Myth of the Month magazine or The Big Guide to Bigfoot, published by the International Association of Sasquatch Enthusiasts. We wanted to find a fun way to incorporate some legends and world building in order to let the reader into the world of Sasquatch hunters who take their work very seriously, but also can laugh at themselves.
Oh, and we don't know if it's normal to have a crush on your own fictional character, but we think Devan is pretty swoon worthy.

The highly anticipated new book from the acclaimed author of The Accident Season is a gorgeous, twisty story about things gone missing, things returned from the past, and a group of teenagers, connected in ways they could never have imagined.
One stormy Irish summer night, Olive and her best friend, Rose, begin to lose things. It starts with simple items like hairclips and jewelry, but soon it's clear that Rose has lost something much bigger, something she won't talk about, and Olive thinks her best friend is slipping away.
Then seductive diary pages written by a girl named Laurel begin to appear all over town. And Olive meets three mysterious strangers: Ivy, Hazel, and her twin brother, Rowan, secretly squatting in an abandoned housing estate. The trio are wild and alluring, but they seem lost too—and like Rose, they're holding tight to painful secrets.
When they discover the spellbook, it changes everything. Damp, tattered and ancient, it's full of hand-inked charms to conjure back things that have been lost. And it just might be their chance to find what they each need to set everything back to rights.
Unless it's leading them toward things that were never meant to be found...
Author Question: What is your favorite thing about Spellbook of the Lost and Found?
My favourite thing about SPELLBOOK is that, like my first novel, THE ACCIDENT SEASON, one of the central questions is whether what's happening is real or just in the characters' imaginations. Whether it's magic or happenstance, a spell or a series of coincidences. I like my reality a little bit slippery, and I love that my books end up reflecting that.

Kennedy Rhodes turns down an acceptance to an elite private school, instead choosing to stay at her high school and jump at the opportunity to date the boy of her dreams. Three years later, Kennedy walks in on that same boyfriend cheating with her best friend—and wishes she had made a different choice. But when Kennedy hits her head and wakes up in the version of her life where she chose to attend the private school, she finds that maybe it’s not as perfect of a world as she once thought.
Author Question: What is your favorite thing about In Some Other Life?
I'm obsessed with the question "what if?" What if I had left earlier? What if I had left later? What if I had gone to a different school? Dated a different boy? Turned left instead of right? This book was my attempt to answer some of those what if questions and I absolutely loved exploring Kennedy's two very different worlds that all hinge on the question of "What if I had made a different choice?" It's pretty amazing how much one choice can affect someone's life.

After surviving her otherworldly adventure, Lily wakes up on her nana’s farm having forgotten everything. Her sun prince, her travels to Egypt, and her journey to the Afterlife are all distant memories.
But Lily is not the girl she once was. Her body is now part human, part lion, and part fairy. And if that isn’t bad enough, she must now harness this power of three and become Wasret: a goddess destined to defeat the evil god Seth once and for all.
With the help of her old friend Dr. Hassan, Lily departs on her final voyage through the cosmos and across the plains of Egypt. On the journey, she will transform into the being she is destined to become.
Reunited is the heart-pounding conclusion to the Reawakened series.
It is time for Lily to find her sunset.
Author Question: What is your favorite thing about Reunited?
REUNITED is the first end of series book I've ever written. It feels amazing to accomplish a project like this. I am more of a panster than a plotter and when I started this series, I remember writing down big battle scene for book three and that's about it. Looking back on where the story went is immensely fulfilling. I think my favorite thing about REUNITED is how the story of Apep came full circle, literally. ;)

To save her sister’s life, Faris must smuggle magic into a plague-ridden neighboring kingdom in this exciting and dangerous start to a brand-new fantasy duology.
Faris grew up fighting to survive in the slums of Brindaigel while caring for her sister, Cadence. But when Cadence is caught trying to flee the kingdom and is sold into slavery, Faris reluctantly agrees to a lucrative scheme to buy her back, inadvertently binding herself to the power-hungry Princess Bryn, who wants to steal her father’s throne.
Now Faris must smuggle stolen magic into neighboring Avinea to incite its prince to alliance—magic that addicts in the war-torn country can sense in her blood and can steal with a touch. She and Bryn turn to a handsome traveling magician, North, who offers protection from Avinea’s many dangers, but he cannot save Faris from Bryn’s cruelty as she leverages Cadence’s freedom to force Faris to do anything—or kill anyone—she asks. Yet Faris is as fierce as Bryn, and even as she finds herself falling for North, she develops schemes of her own.
With the fate of kingdoms at stake, Faris, Bryn, and North maneuver through a dangerous game of magical and political machinations, where lives can be destroyed—or saved—with only a touch.
Author Question: What is your favorite thing about Shimmer and Burn?
A majority of the named characters in SHIMMER AND BURN would be considered antagonists, and writing that many villains was more fun than I expected: So many personal agendas and opinions on what's worth fighting for! But I especially love the dichotomy between Princess Bryn and the protagonist, Faris. Both are fierce women who know what they want and will do whatever it takes to achieve their goals, but their decisions are influenced by different world views, making one a villain and one a hero despite how similar their ideology actually is.

I wonder if for the rest of my life, I’ll be haunted by beautiful days.
On one cloudless, radiant summer afternoon, Lake Devereaux lost everything. The car crash claimed the lives of her best friend and boyfriend, the people who had become her family after her own fell apart. But she doesn’t have to lose them both.
The development of resurrection technology has changed the world. Under the new laws regulating the process, each person gets one resurrection to be used or forfeited on their eighteenth birthday. Mere weeks away from turning eighteen, Lake faces an impossible choice.
Envisioning life without one of the people she loves most is shattering enough, but Lake carries an additional burden: years ago, under family pressure, Lake secretly—and illegally—promised her resurrection to someone who isn’t even dead yet.
The search for answers about her future draws Lake more deeply into the secrets of her past until she begins to question everything about those closest to her. Betrayals and hurts both new and old threaten to eclipse the memories she once cherished.
Then Lake meets a boy unlike anyone she’s encountered before, who unflinchingly embraces the darkest parts of her life . . . and who believes that all resurrections are wrong.
Which path is the right one? And how can Lake start to heal when she can't move on?
Author Question: What is your favorite thing about This is Not the End?
THIS IS NOT THE END is by far the favorite book of mine that I've written. It's in many ways an homage to the YA books coming out between 2007-2009 that I fell in love with, back when I was realizing I wanted to be an author, and more specifically a YA author. Books like Looking for Alaska, If I Stay, Thirteen Reasons Why and Before I Fall. What I love about THIS IS NOT THE END are the same things that I love about those books--impossible choices, life or death decisions, friendships as strong as family and a tantalizing question waiting to be answered at the end: who will Lake, my main character, choose to bring back to life?

Sixteen year-old Echo Stone awakens in a cold sweat in a dark room, having no idea where she is or how she got there. But she soon finds out she's in Middle House, an orphanage filled with mysteriously troubled kids.
There's just one problem: She's not an orphan. Her parents are very much alive.
She explains this to everyone, but no one will listen. After befriending a sympathetic (and handsome) boy, Echo is able to escape Middle House and rush home, only to discover it sealed off by crime scene tape and covered in the evidence of a terrible and violent crime. As Echo grapples with this world-shattering information, she spots her parents driving by and rushes to flag them down. Standing in the middle of street, waving her arms to get their attention, her parents car drives right through her.
She was right. Her parents are alive but she is not.
She's a ghost, just like all the other denizens of Middle House. Desperate to somehow get her life back and reconnect with her still-alive boyfriend, Echo embarks on a quest to solve her own murder. As the list of suspects grows, the quest evolves into a journey of self-discovery in which she learns she wasn't quite the girl she thought she was. In a twist of fate, she's presented with one last chance to reclaim her life and must make a decision which will either haunt her or bless her forever.

A fresh, funny, and thought-provoking debut YA novel about a fifteen-year-old Iranian-American named Daria, who is launched on a journey of self-discovery when she discovers she was adopted.
Daria Esfandyar is Iranian-American and proud of her heritage, unlike some of the “Nose Jobs” in the clique led by her former best friend, Heidi Javadi. Daria and her friends call themselves the Authentics, because they pride themselves on always keeping it real.
But in the course of researching a school project, Daria learns something shocking about her past, which launches her on a journey of self-discovery. It seems everyone is keeping secrets. And it’s getting harder to know who she even is any longer.
With infighting among the Authentics, her mother planning an over-the-top sweet sixteen party, and a romance that should be totally off limits, Daria doesn’t have time for this identity crisis. With everything in her life changing—can she figure out how to stay true to herself?
