Allen West: U.S. Cannot Risk a ‘Neville Chamberlain-Barack Obama Strategic Patience’ Approach to North Korea
Former Republican congressman and Army Lt. Colonel Allen West discussed the situation in North Korea on Breitbart News radio with host Curt Schilling on Friday’s edition of Whatever It Takes.
West said North Korea’s Fourth of July missile launch should be viewed from the perspective of the 1930s when dark forces were gathering strength in what would become the Axis powers.
“You had someone that rose to power in Germany by the name of Adolf Hitler. People saw him developing new war machines, restoring the German military, which was something he was not supposed to do,” West recalled. “The fact that Hitler tested out some of these new war machines in the Spanish Civil War, and then all of a sudden when Hitler launched an attack to take over the Rhineland against France, there was nothing that was done.”
“We can sit back and say this is crazy, this is irrational, this will never happen, we don’t need to get involved because there will be millions of people that will end up losing their lives. Look what happened in the four years after Hitler first made that incursion into the Rhineland,” he warned. “Interestingly enough, this month, there will be a movie that comes out called ‘Dunkirk’ that shows what happened when Hitler and the German forces drove all the way through France.”
West also made note of President Trump’s visit to Poland, which had to deal with Nazi Germany’s infamous Blitzkrieg.
“I think that we cannot try to put Kim Jong-un in any type of Western civilizational-type of eyes. This is a psychopath,” he said.
West noted that Kim Jong-un’s father and grandfather conducted 16 and 15 missile tests, respectively, while the current North Korean dictator has launched 83 missiles since 2011 and 17 since President Donald Trump took office.
“This is a very serious situation. We need to take this guy at face value,” he advised.
West recommended avoiding a “Neville Chamberlain-Barack Obama strategic patience” approach to the North Korean crisis.
“It doesn’t have to be that they actually detonate an ICBM on the continental United States of America. Everyone now has come to learn about the EMP threat, electromagnetic pulse. You could take an ICBM such as that, and if it detonates at a certain altitude above a land mass, it completely shuts down that power grid over that land mass, everything in the line of sight,” West warned.
He assured listeners that the results of such an attack will not seem like a minor inconvenience should it ever occur and later noted that evidence has been discovered of Iran formulating strategies for using EMP weapons against the United States.
He talked about North Korean cooperation with Iran on nuclear weapons, noting that the Syrian nuclear facility destroyed by Israel in a 2007 raid bore a “stark resemblance” to the North Korean nuclear facility at Yongbyon.
“No one said a peep after the Israelis took that preemptive strike because they knew exactly what was there and what was going on,” said West. “We have to start thinking, do we want someone to get to a point where they have that capability? Because it’s a complete game-changer.”
For the present, he recommended increasing diplomatic and economic pressure against North Korea, perhaps all the way up to imposing a blockade against their ports. “We have got to strangle this guy into not being able to do what he is capable of doing,” he said.
“The biggest thing is, China should take over the situation, even though they have failed,” he added. “They have promised and not delivered on the promises because they could take him out without any heartbeat. The most important thing is that those old generals that you see with all those medals and stuff out there, they’ve got to realize that time is running out for them, and this guy has gone too far.”
Schilling revealed that he personally knows a young man who enlisted in the military and has been posted to Korea, a posting that seems much more dangerous in the current environment.
“In 1995, I was stationed up along the DMZ with the 2nd Infantry Division,” West said. “The big thing for us, we had the North Korean special operating forces who would infiltrate across the border and try to create havoc. Most times, working with the South Korean military, we’d hunt those guys down. You had the little mini-subs that were coming along the coast and dropping these infiltrators off along the coast, and again you were able to take them out.”
“That was more of a low-intensity type of threat. But now we’re looking at something completely different. This is high intensity, technologically based warfare that we’re looking at – the cyberwarfare of North Korea, these ICBMs, the threat of an EMP attack. I think that we’re going to have to start looking at what do we do against some of these launch sites?” he said.
“The key lynchpin to this is the South Korean president,” West suggested. “President Moon, who wants to have more open dialogue with Kim Jong-un, has to understand that Kim Jong-un sunk a South Korean naval vessel. They fired artillery onto a South Korean town. These are not a rational set of leaders that are up there in North Korea, that he can sit down and have some discussion about Kumbaya and what have you.”
West also stressed the importance of considering the “thousands of artillery tubes” pointing at South Korea’s cities, giving North Korea the ability to threaten massive civilian casualties without using weapons of mass destruction.
“They’re called HART sites, hardened artillery sites, that are dug into mountains and what have you, behind blast doors that are impenetrable. That is the concern because Seoul, Korea, is within the artillery range of those tubes,” he said.
“Now, I don’t know if those tubes are effective,” he added. “I don’t know when was the last time they’ve ever been fired so that they can be trustworthy, but that is a consideration. It is so important to have the anti-artillery radar systems that are there, the THAAD systems that are there for any type of missiles that could be launched. The threats of Saddam with his SCUDs pale in comparison to what North Korea could do.”
West said it was also important not to overestimate North Korea’s capabilities. He recalled how quickly the idea that Soviet-made T-72 tanks were superior to American armor and invulnerable to American airpower evaporated during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, along with Saddam Hussein’s rhetoric about deploying a “million-man army” to fight the “mother of all battles.”
Schilling thought the response from Japan, which is almost as vulnerable to North Korean attack as South Korea, was unusually muted. West responded that Japan is constrained by its postwar constitutional commitment to maintain only defensive forces and may need to consider relaxing those restrictions.
“They do work with the United States Pacific Fleet, but we need them to take a different stance,” he said.
West also expressed concern over Chinese aggression in the South China Sea, describing the construction of artificial islands and military bases as a “huge” problem.
“This leads to what China is doing strategically,” he said. “China is happy to have Kim Jong-un and North Korea there because everyone’s attention is focused on him and really not what China is doing.”
“China is trying to expand its regional hegemonic dominance in the Pacific Rim,” he explained. “They are building these man-made islands. They are fortifying them with military airfields, military weaponry, the most dangerous being surface-to-ship anti-ship missile systems. That’s meant, of course, for our Pacific Fleet.”
“That South China Sea area they are occupying with these man-made islands are so important for international trade routes. I believe 35 or 40 percent of global trade transits through the South China Sea lanes where they are building these islands,” he pointed out.
West said militarizing the South China Sea was part of China’s plan to recreate the fabled “Silk Road” trade route, “a chain of economic opportunity and trade that goes from the Middle East back over to China.”
“They are focusing on making themselves a very strong economic and military power. That is how they are keeping us distracted with North Korea while they continue to do these things,” he said.
“Xi Jinping is not going to do anything to reign in Kim Jong-un. We know their trade has increased over the last few months, I think 31 to 34 percent. So we’re going to have to look at another Coalition of the Willing,” he advised, recalling the Bush administration’s term for the nations supporting the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003.
West agreed with Schilling that China’s ownership of vast amounts of U.S. debt was troubling, recommending economic growth and restoration of the job market to remove some of China’s leverage. He argued that a robust and deregulated U.S. economy would also lure capital back from overseas, while reviving the American manufacturing sector would boost exports.
Also, West said that exporting American energy resources would “help to undermine Vladimir Putin and his designs and global goals and objectives.”
“Our economy has to be strong. We have to leverage our energy resources because it doesn’t have to come to the military option preeminently,” he advised. “If we could do those first two, that puts us in a better position.”
“Our military has to be a credible deterrent, so when you do have these despots and dictators like a Kim Jong-un that pops up, you’re ready to deter any type of designs that he may have,” he added.
Why Christians Can’t Believe in Man-Caused Global Warming

Christians believe humankind is God’s all-time favorite creation because He tells us so in the Bible. But leftist/socialists often known as Democrats think humans are an evil, toxic blight bent on destroying the planet through heinous activities like gassing up our cars. Boom. This is the war of the opposing worldviews going on today and it’s worldwide. It encompasses every important issue including man-caused global warming.
Leftists think homo sapiens started out as a random blob of cells zapped by electricity (no word on where the cells and electricity came from without a primal source such as God) that evolved into a greedy, evil animal with the magical ability to control the climate. Never mind that we can’t control or even predict tsunamis, earthquakes, or next week’s weather -- all we need is a few computer models and a religious faith in our own brilliance to foretell the temperature 30 years from now.
Arrogant leftists who think that by banning the earth’s homemade fuels like coal, oil and gas they can control the climate should heed God’s challenge to Job: “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding, Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Have you commanded the morning since your days began, And caused the dawn to know its place…Have you entered the treasury of snow…By which way is light diffused, Or the east wind scattered over the earth? Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, That an abundance of water may cover you? Can you send out lightnings, that they may go, And say to you, ‘Here we are!’? Would you indeed annul My judgment? Would you condemn Me that you may be justified? Have you an arm like God?” (Job Ch. 38: 4-5, 12, 22, 24-25, 34-35, Ch. 40: 8-9)
God uses some divine sarcasm to school us that He alone, not man, commands the weather, from the snow and frost to the wind, rain and lightning. Get over yourselves, measly humans; I’ve got this, He says. So Christians aren’t worried if the climate changes. It’s obvious to us that God set up natural elements that shift the climate over the eons from warmer to cooler and back again in historically well-known cycles. Just a few decades ago the big panic was global cooling that would freeze the planet in its tracks. The latest raving lefty bugaboo is global warming. Big whup.
Leftist non-believers who call God a bearded sky-monkey ignore that ten years after Al Gore’s dark warnings, literally none of his predictions have come true: no islands have drowned; nor have the huge populations who were to die from rising seas or heat-blasted crops actually expired; the polar ice caps not only stubbornly refuse meltdown but ironically their ice is so thick it traps climate research ships. And the polar bears are just fine, in fact thriving.
Despite NASA scientists finding global temperatures have only increased 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit since 1880, despite Al Gore and the UN’s serious errors in promising massive climate disasters, despite the fact (from the U.S. Geological Survey among others) that only .038 percent of earth’s atmosphere is actually carbon dioxide so to reduce it would be totally futile, liberals insist that carbon fuels must be eradicated to save the earth. Since those fuels drive economic prosperity both here and in desperately poor countries, the leftists who like to think they’re compassionate “progressives” are really in the most basic sense anti-progress and anti-poor people.
Christians aren’t worried about climate change because they hold the biblical view that God has a master plan that favors His human children: “’For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says the Lord, “thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.’”( Jeremiah 29:11- 13)
The Lord God even considers His human creation so special He made us “in His own image…male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27) Shocking: a Supreme Being so politically incorrect he thinks there are only two genders!
We are the only creatures God made as images of Himself, sharing with us some of His spirituality, His ability to love, to forgive, to reason, and to live creatively. Human consciousness is inarguably different from and far more advanced than that of animals. While God clearly thinks humans are very special, the left reviles us as just another animal but more irredeemable and deplorable; they think dolphins are a superior species..
Yet we’re so special that God entrusted us to “have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28 This includes dolphins. Lefties’ heads explode in thunderous volleys over this one. “Dominion” is defined in the dictionary as “power or right of governing and controlling” --- anti-Christians insist that God here gives evil man permission to despoil and demolish the planet.
But of course this is nonsense; why would a person bulldoze his own home? We are to be caretakers and good stewards of the planet. God meant we should care tenderly for his creation as a farmer tends his crops or a rancher her cattle, horses, and sheep. But because we are in charge of the animals we can also eat them.
When the Creator gave humans the duty to protect the animals he made, He gave Christians even more responsibility as environmentalists than non-believers can ever claim. Of course, humankind can, and sometimes has, been derelict in our duty and we must strive to do better.
But notice God never gives man dominion over the climate: over the skies or the rain or the thunderbolts, or the atmosphere’s greenhouse gases. God makes it clear He will take care of all that. In the beginning He very carefully calibrated earth’s atmosphere to support life. The atmosphere contains 99 percent oxygen and nitrogen. A bit more or less and earth would be uninhabitable. Carbon dioxide is only a trace element like about a dozen other gases.
Christians know that God makes generous provision for His creation, in ways unbelievers never grasp. Is it an accident of evolution that the earth provides a free, all-you-can-eat grass buffet for the herbivores that depend on it, while those animals in turn supply the carnivores with entrees? And could it be that God in his pre-planned genius placed the dinosaurs and plants here millions of years ago so their carbonized remains would eventually give us humans the carbon fuel we need to run civilization, thereby improving our lives?
What a crazy idea – that God actually wants the best for us.
God is likely very pro-carbon since the coal, oil, gas, and water power He gave us took His humans out of their caves and huts, transforming their meager camping-out-all-the-time existence into the miracle of modern prosperity. Carbon fuels have introduced us, via electricity, to the joys of cooking, heating, air conditioning, dishwashers, microwaves, flat screen TVs, computers, and car road trips, to name just a few.
But I don’t think God is in favor of the “renewable energy” of wind and solar because turbines and solar collectors are murder machines for the precious birds that God wants us to protect. Millions of them have been sliced and diced by the turbines and scorched to death by solar panels. Big problem, greenies. Plus they need carbon fuel back-up.
To believe global warming will destroy the planet you have to believe that God placed a carbon poison pill in His creation that would lead to human prosperity and then to human annihilation. But God promises us good, not malevolence. So we answer: “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” Psalm 24:1 And we’re good with that.
Reports: Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner Met with Kremlin-Linked Lawyer

Members of President Trump’s family reportedly met with a lawyer linked with the Kremlin in June of last year — although the Trump team believes the meeting may have been sought as part of an effort to create the impression of an improper connection between Trump’s team and Russia.
The New York Times reported late Saturday that Donald Trump Jr., along with then-campaign chair Paul Manafort and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, met with a Russian lawyer with connections to the Kremlin at Trump Tower.
The Times reported that the meeting occurred on June 9, and it notes that this is the first confirmed private meeting between a Russian national and a member of Trump’s inner circle. Reps for Trump Jr. and Kushner confirmed the meeting to the Times but described it as primarily about an adoption program.
The lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, has reportedly been fighting the Magnitsky Act — an American law that blacklists Russian human rights abusers and triggered Russian President Vladimir Putin to halt American adoptions of Russian children.
In a statement to the Times, Trump Jr. said the “short” meeting involved discussion of “a program about the adoption of Russian children that was active and popular with American families years ago and has since ended by the Russian government, but it was not a campaign issue at the time and there was no follow up.”
Circa also reported that the meeting was short, lasting only 20 minutes. The outlet also reported that the president’s legal team believe the meeting may have been part of an election-year opposition effort to create the appearance of “improper connections” between Trump and Russia.
Mark Corallo, a spokesman for President Trump’s legal team, told Circa:
We have learned from both our own investigation and public reports that the participants in the meeting misrepresented who they were and who they worked for. Specifically, we have learned that the person who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS, a firm which according to public reports, was retained by Democratic operatives to develop opposition research on the President and which commissioned the phony Steele dossier.
“These developments raise serious issues as to exactly who authorized and participated in any effort by Russian nationals to influence our election in any manner,” he added.
The Times reports that the meeting was not disclosed until recently, when Kushner filed a revised version of a form to obtain a security clearance. Kushner’s advisers described the omission as an error.
Kushner’s lawyer told the Times in a statement.:
He has since submitted this information, including that during the campaign and transition, he had over 100 calls or meetings with representatives of more than 20 countries, most of which were during transition. Mr. Kushner has submitted additional updates and included, out of an abundance of caution, this meeting with a Russian person, which he briefly attended at the request of his brother-in-law Donald Trump Jr. As Mr. Kushner has consistently stated, he is eager to cooperate and share what he knows.
The Times notes that Trump Jr. does not have to disclose foreign contacts as he does not serve in the administration, nor does he have a security clearance. The story claims that the lawyer is a “formidable operator with a history of pushing the Kremlin’s agenda.”

Hillary Clinton’s election loss secured the end of the Clinton Global Initiative. The career criminal politician had no power to broker, and thus, no product for her foundation to sell.
The Clinton Global Initiative was founded in 2005 by former President Bill Clinton and his long time aide, Doug Band. The Initiative was founded to provide cover for the Clinton’s international dealings.
The Global Initiative was a part of the broader Clinton Foundation. It served the purpose of creating networks between the Clintons and wealthy foreign donors with interests in Washington.
During the 2016 presidential election, the Clinton Foundation accepted money from despotic Islamic governments including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Morocco.
Of course, the coffers of the Clinton Foundation ran dry when it was clear that Hillary would lose the election.
The Clintons denied that their “charity” was a treasonous attempt to monetize their clout in American politics; however, after Hillary’s election defeat many countries ceased their annual donations planned for the Clinton Foundation. If the organization was really about philanthropy than donations would still be rolling in.
The Australian Government announced earlier this year that they would no longer be partnering with the “scandal-plagued” Clinton Foundation, ending a ten-year partnership that cost Australian taxpayers almost $90 million. The Government of Norway also announced their intentions to pull away from the corrupt organization.
Unable to sustain themselves without the donations from foreign governments seeking access, the Clinton Global Initiative has been forced to shut down. The Clinton Foundation has no plans to shut down.
Perhaps the Clinton Global Initiative will open their doors again if Chelsea Clinton manages to win an election.
New Study Blows The
Doors Off The Liberal Climate Change Scam
The “climate change” myth has taken many faces over the past 20 years. A new study is about to stop the people spewing this nonsense.
Three scientists worked on this new climate change study. The researchers discovered that most of the “warming” evidence is achieved through manipulation of the data. The scientists testing for global warming will often adjust the surface temperature data. In other words, it seems that regardless of what the rest of the results say, there appears to be an unfounded warming trend.
The study finds: “Thus, it is impossible to conclude from the three published…datasets that recent years have been the warmest ever.” We had a hunch that there was some manipulation going on here, but we would never have guessed that it was THIS bad.
When adjusting the base temperature, a search for any increase in temperature only results in a false positive reading. It is sad that the “global warming experts” feel the need to toy with their data to get results that they want, but that is clearly what is going on.
If the Liberals are proven wrong on climate change, their arguments become null and void. They have to keep “proving” that global warming is a “concern” because if it were proven false, they would have one less thing about which to whine.
Currently, they are running low on things to complain about as their hypocrisy has repeatedly been exposed. It doesn’t stop them from trying, though!
There is a difference between an avid climate denier and someone who asks for evidence. The crazy part is this. If you ask for evidence regarding climate change, the believers get MAD.
If you recall, washed-up television pseudo-star, Bill Nye the Science Guy, had a jaw-dropping interview about global warming. Bill implied that if you don’t believe in climate change, you should be imprisoned.
Maybe it is just us, but that seems like an UNSCIENTIFIC response to a question about evidence. You would think that if the evidence was legitimate, Bill could say “Yes, here are the numbers to prove what I’m saying.” Instead, he makes a mockery of the “science” community by spewing liberal nonsense everywhere.
People like Nye are part of the problem. We cannot allow the Left to try and paint people as criminals for disbelieving climate change without evidence. It is a simple question that they SHOULD be able to answer, since, you know, their science is real.
Now we have even more evidence that people are fudging numbers to get results on climate reports. It makes you question the validity of the claim. You would think that after all of these years of research, they would be able to point to one piece of evidence that they haven’t manipulated, but they can’t even do that much.
The truth is slowly coming to light, and they should be alarmed right about now.

EARLIER THIS YEAR, THE VATICAN’S OWN PUBLISHING HOUSE RELEASED A BOOK BY THE CARDINAL WITH MUCH FANFARE THAT DEFENDED FRANCIS’S 2016 EXHORTATION AMORIS LAETITIA AS ALLOWING CIVILLY-DIVORCED-AND-REMARRIED CATHOLICS LIVING IN ADULTERY, AS WELL AS UNMARRIED COHABITING CATHOLICS LIVING IN FORNICATION, TO RECEIVE HOLY COMMUNION. COCCOPALMERIO MAINTAINED THAT THE BOOK WAS HIS OWN PERSONAL REFLECTION ON THE MATTER AND CARRIED NO LEGISLATIVE WEIGHT.
This arrest adds to the left-wing Pope’s headaches.
He was forced to reverse course after the Vatican released a statement that supported the European Court’s decision to allow doctors to terminate the life support that was sustaining five- year-old Charlie Gard, rather than allow his parents to take him to the United States for an experimental treatment.
Pope Francis has been a controversial figure since the very day he ascended to the Papacy.
This ugly situation will only add to the questions about his leadership.

That could all be over soon. A genetics expert and Harvard Medical School graduate claims his research proves, through DNA testing, the biblical account of Adam and Eve.
The data, first released in 2015, has been tested for years and the controversial information has left some evolution scientists in shock.
Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson led a study focusing on DNA in order to evaluate the theory that men and woman can trace their lineage back to a single man and a single woman, according to Charisma News.
Jeanson says found majority of his proof in Eve and her mitochondrial DNA that has carried from generation to generation.
According to his research, the variations in this mitochondrial DNA between people proves that all of humanity descended from just one female, as stated in Genesis.
He claims if we all descended from different woman with wide variations in mitochondrial DNA, we would have much more genetic diversity than we currently have.
Answers in Genesis’ Georgia Purdom released a documentary based on Jeanson’s findings, and described in detail how she interprets his conclusions.
“He clearly shows that the common human female ancestor of us all (Biblical Eve) lived within the biblical time frame of several thousand years ago,” she explains.
The instability of the mitochondrial DNA suggests it’s youth, fitting with the Biblical time frame.
His research also suggests that the mutations in the Y chromosome passed down identically from father to son can trace men back to one man, Adam.
While some experts agree the Jeanson’s findings could alter our entire understanding of human history, there are many theories about how man came to be.
Not everyone is as convinced as Purdom — and some evolution scientists have totally dismissed his claims.
But still, the information is freaky.

Charlie Gard’s Mom Responded to Trump Tweet
While the liberal media likes to paint President Donald Trump as cold and heartless, on multiple occasion throughout his time in office he has shown that he has a heart and cares deeply about other people — especially children.
The latest instance of Trump showing his softer side involves the case Charlie Gard, a baby in England who was born with a rare genetic condition that makes it unlikely he will live very long, Independent Journal Review reported.
On Monday, Trump tweeted that he would be “delighted” to help out in any way possible. The parents of the little boy have lost multiple court cases and now they face the real possibility that the hospital Gard is in could pull life support for their child — even though they don’t want that to happen.
“If we can help little Charlie Gard, as per our friends in the U.K. and the Pope, we would be delighted to do so,” Trump wrote in his tweet.

Trump’s comments revolve around a key part of the case. There is an experimental treatment in the United States that could help Gard, but Europe is refusing to let his parents actually bring him over here.
The parents of Gard, Chris and Connie Gard, quickly seized on Trump’s comments and stated that they would continue to fight to save their child — especially now that the pope and the president of the United States were on their side. On Wednesday, a pediatric hospital in Rome owned by the Vatican offered to take over the child’s care, according to CNN.
“If he’s still fighting, we’re still fighting,” they wrote in a Facebook post that included a link to Trump’s tweet.
The U.K. Daily Mail reported that in a statement, the parents of Gard stated that they were “overwhelmed” by the support that Trump had shown them.
“Chris and Connie are overwhelmed with emotion that President Trump and the Pope have spoken publicly of their support,” the statement read.

Fox News reported that British Prime Minister Theresa May didn’t rule out the possibility that Gard could be moved to the United States on Wednesday, but she didn’t seem to indicate she would intervene either.
“I am confident that Great Ormond Street Hospital have and always will consider any offers or new information that has come forward with consideration of the well-being of a desperate ill child,” she said while adding that doctors often make “heartbreaking decisions” in cases like this one.
While Trump’s willingness to help the boy is admirable, it is unclear if there is much he can do to actually get Gard over to the United States for the treatment. If Britain won’t let Gard leave the country, there isn’t much Trump can do to force their hand.
