Nickelodeon USA Rebrands The Splat As NickSplat

Nickelodeon USA has today, Monday 1st May 2017, rebranded The Splat, Nickelodeon's destination for the most loved Nick content from the 1990s and beyond, as NickSplat!

Nickelodeon's new name for their late night programming block on TeenNick, which celebrates classic Nickelodeon programming on-air and online, directly identifies the block with the Nickelodeon brand.

Nickelodeon's NickSplat logo uses a similar design as the networks' The Splat logo, with a few minor differences: The logo now features Nickelodeon's 2009-era 'Nick' logo; the orange "splat" is now shaped differently; and the "S" is no longer larger than the rest of the letters in the logo.

To reflect the blocks new name, Nickelodeon has also updated the web address (URL) of the blocks official website, and well as the handles (usernames) of the blocks' official social media channels:

Nickelodeon has reassured fans that the only difference between NickSplat and The Splat is the new name, and that its the "same Splat"!

It's currently unknown whether Nickelodeon UK, Nickelodeon Netherlands and Nickelodeon Belgium's local versions of The Splat will also adopt the new name.
