Fox News Howard Kurtz can go to TV hell. He followed the most important speech a president has given in decades. Did he lead the discussion on the speech? Heck no!  They blathered on about Trump and Comie hearsay. Disgusting. Fox is already on the slide to becoming just another source of hot air. Shame on Fox and Kurtz. I’ll find other things to do on Sundays at 11AM.

.@Liz_Wheeler:  We finally have proof of inappropriate financial dealings with Russia…

(Pro-)American Beauty: Jordan Carver

Maybe it was good karma: I recently had the opportunity to talk to one of my favorite models, German-born bombshell Jordan Carver.

Not long ago I noticed on her blog that she had done something nice for a military unit from the UK deployed in Afghanistan who’s Staff Sergeant had contacted her to ask for a poster to boost the morale of his troops – whereby she responded by sending complimentary posters to ALL 15 members of the unit!
I contacted her to ask about this event and her opinions about America – she now lives in Los Angeles – and our differences with Europe. It turns out that she absolutely LOVES America and she agreed to a full interview.
Check it out –
BP: Growing up, how did you feel about the United States of America?
JC: I grew up in a really small town close to the border of Luxembourg. As a child I didn’t know that much about the United States – the only thing I knew was what the characters from the Disney movies said about life in a country called America. Later I knew things about the USA because of the TV shows like 21 jump street or Beverly Hills 90210. In the bottom line everything from America seemed to be so cool for me! ( LA GEAR shoes!!! )
My first physical contact with this country happened as a teenager with 16. This was a family trip to Miami. At this time I realized how big the USA is.
Since that time I had nothing specific in mind about the USA until 9/11. But I guess that day changes everyone's mind.
BP: How did you and your family experience the reunification of Germany and the collapse of communism?
JC: The fall of the wall was the most historical experience in my live. Sure I heard about the cold war and communism in school but this was only theory or movies in the cinema. This was real and it happened while I watched the news in the TV. Ok to be honest – I did not realized the impact and the political meaning. But on the reaction of my parents and grandparents I understand that this day was the first day of a different Germany.
I remember that my school planted a tree at Oct. 3 – the day of the german reunion. Every time when I visit my parents back in germany I pass this tree and see how he is growing stronger and bigger each year.
BP: Where were you and how did you experience September 11th, 2001?
JC: I saw the collision of the planes in the News. First I thought I saw a trailer of another war movie … This was so unreal and after I understood that what I was seeing was really happening I started to cry. I was so overwhelmed by my feelings I no longer know what happened at that day. I remember only that I felt fearful about the future.
BP: How did your exchange with the young man serving the United Kingdom in Afghanistan happen?
JC: I received a very short but very polite email from the SSGT of a unit serving in Afghanistan. He asked me if I could sent him a poster for himself and the unit to support the morale of the young inexperienced soldiers there. In the attachment I found a little picture of 15 man with the note 3rd from right. I emailed him back immediately and suggested to send a picture to everyone if he give me the names of everyone on the picture. I waited two days for the answer. He excused his delay because their was so much work but I still think my offer just blew him away ( just kidding ). At the end of the next day I walked into the post office with a huge envelope in my hand. Unfortunately I never heard from him again. I hope he is doing well.
BP: What do you think about a man in uniform?
JC: I could give a short answer and say they look sexy but in this context I think it’s inadequate. A man in uniform emits safety and authority. Usually you can count on someone who is wearing a uniform. It doesn’t matter if this is the bellboy in a hotel or a soldier at the frontline.
BP: Since it is COMPLETELY OBVIOUS that American men are the best in the world – what are the top ways we beat our international competition?
JC: Lol Yes – FOR SURE American men are OBVIOUSLY the best ;)
In fact there is one thing that’s different – their attitude. Compared to other man I meet so far I like the “yes I can” mentality. I like if someone is taking action and is proud about doing it. Maybe this is because of their education, patriotism and independence. This is unique in the international competition.

BP: What is your reaction to – and what is your opinion of – European anti-Americanism?
JC: I’m not sure what exactly you are talking about. If you want to know my opinion about the political opinion that Europeans have against the USA I can only say that this is very complicated. Each country is different in the European nation and the historical connections to the United States are different. Some agree, some disagree. It’s not to bad if people make their own mind about world politics.
Before I make my mind I try to get as much information as I can and try to see the things from different kind of views. There is nothing worse than being blind and acting dumb.
BP: You hold one of the top scores in Call of Duty: Black Ops. What draws you toward that action-packed military game?
JC: It started during a photo production last winter. I had some waiting time until the other models, the light and the set got set up. No newspapers, no internet connection, nothing! The only thing was this dumb playstation with one game! Guess what: Call Of Duty!
I started playing around and after a short while I realized how easy it was to control the character. At the end of the two days production I decided to buy the game in the next game store for my own PS3.

This game is not about war and killing. It’s about accuracy, precision and fast acting in a stunning gameplay. You feel like in an action movie.
Conclusion:
JC: The United States might be cause for content of countless discussions. I will not judge anyone for his opinion about America but terrorism is never a solution! Overall this country is still the No. 1 offering unlimited opportunities for everyone who is looking for a career.
I think this is a good time to reiterate that legal immigration really does have its advantages…

Trump’s Top FBI Pick Called Trump A Ladies’ Man In 1999 Stand-up

"He's been a pain in the butt to both Republicans and Democrats…"
By Jeff Neukom

In addition to a sizable history in politics, President Donald Trump’s top pick to replace the recently dismissed James Comey as FBI director also has something of a background in comedy, having poked fun at the president in a 1999 stand-up comedy contest.
During the “Funniest Celebrity in D.C.” contest, then-Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman joked that Trump would have an “all-female” cabinet because he saw himself as a “ladies’ man.”
“The Donald is quite a ladies’ man, and very proud of it, and boasts about it and we’ve heard that if elected he’s going to have an all-female cabinet,” Lieberman quipped.
The former senator pitched actress Carmen Electra for secretary of energy and Wheel of Fortune star Vanna White as secretary of education. To prove he was “a man with a big heart” who “gives people a second chance,” Lieberman said, Trump would pick convicted madam Heidi Fleiss as secretary of health and human services.
Speaking to reporters at an off-the-record lunch, the president said Thursday that he was “very close” to naming a replacement FBI director.
Trump interviewed four candidates at the White House on Wednesday: Lieberman, acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, former Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating and former top FBI official Richard McFeely.
Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions have been interviewing candidates to lead the bureau since Trump suddenly fired Comey last week only a few years into a 10-year term.
Judging by Trump’s comments afterward, it would appear that Lieberman has risen to the top spot on the president’s short list.
Trump met with Lieberman Wednesday and found him “agreeable,” and when asked point-blank if Lieberman was the leading contender, Trump replied, “Yes.”
Lieberman may have a short history in the comedic realm, but it is his political background that has given some lawmakers pause in considering him as FBI director.
Lieberman was elected senator in 1988, serving as a Democrat until 2006, when he became an independent. In 2000 he was the Democratic nominee for vice president, running with presidential nominee Al Gore.
Some Republican senators called the idea of Lieberman replacing Comey “intriguing,” but Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., said it was a “mistake” to nominate him.
“It’s a mistake to nominate anyone who’s ever run for office,” McCaskill told reporters. “I’m somebody who spent a lot of time in law enforcement; this is a moment where we need a law enforcement professional that’s never campaigned for a presidential candidate, never campaigned for office, never worn a party label, to head the FBI.”
Lieberman’s lack of prosecutorial experience has troubled McCaskill and other lawmakers, as FBI directors have traditionally worked as FBI agents or in some capacity in the Justice Department.
He did serve as his state’s attorney general before his election to the Connecticut senate seat.
Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Connecticut, echoed McCaskill’s sentiments preferring a candidate with minimal political background in an effort to isolate the intelligence agency from political pressures.
“I hold Sen. Lieberman’s seat, he’s no pushover, as both parties know. He’s been a pain in the butt to both Republicans and Democrats during his time both in and out of the Senate,” Murphy said. “I think the question is whether you want someone with a political pedigree or whether you want someone with a law enforcement pedigree. And I think there’s a lot of people on both sides of the aisle that are looking for someone who doesn’t come from the political realm.”

Shaq Still Thinks Americans Should Give Trump a Shot

Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal turned some heads Thursday at the Turner 2017 Upfront event when he advised everyone to give President Donald Trump a chance.
O’Neal told The Daily Beast at Thursday’s event that his stance from a November interview — in which he told The Hill that Trump “won the election fair and square” and “we have to give him a chance” — was still how he felt.
“We voted, so there’s no need to waste time complaining,” he said. “The man ‘won,’ apparently fair and square, so we need to give him a shot.”
After last autumn’s general election, O’Neal took a position unpopular among celebrities in the current political and cultural climate, essentially shutting down anyone calling for a recount.

Shaquille O'Neal: "Donald Trump won fair and square. We have to give him a chance."
“Now that he’s president-elect, you just hope that he can make the world a better place. He won fair and square. We have to give him a chance,” O’Neal added. “There’s no need talking about recounts and this and that.”
Shaq was the more level-headed voice at the Upfront event. “Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee fell victim to the standard liberal ailment which apparently cause so many on the left to believe it to be their patriotic duty to whine as much as possible about the president.
“I just don’t believe that the office is so sacred,” she said. “I actually think it’s literally my patriotic duty to go as hard as humanly possible on this president.”
Given the amount of visibility and celebrity O’Neal enjoys, his steadfast and truthful stance on Trump is refreshing at a time when it seems the only celebrity voices Americans hear are laced with constant criticism and derision. O’Neal couldn’t be more correct in his advice.
Critics of the president should heed Shaquille O’Neal’s advice and give him a chance. While our political system certainly isn’t perfect, Trump won the election fair and square and deserves the respect of all Americans — no matter their level of agreement with his policies.

Saudi King Shatters Tradition To Welcome Melania Trump

"... the undivided attention of King Salman."
By Jack Davis

In a greeting that was likened in one media account to the kind bestowed upon “visiting royalty,” Saudi Arabia welcomed President Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump and their entourage Saturday.

8:28 AM - 20 May 2017

As reported by The Washington Post, “Trump, his wife, Melania, and an entourage including virtually his entire senior White House staff and much of his Cabinet, were serenaded by military bands, treated to a flyover of Saudi jets, feted in opulent palaces and given the undivided attention of King Salman.”
The 81-year-old king appeared at the airport in Riyadh to welcome the Trumps, and cast custom to the winds as he did so.

As Melania Trump set foot on Saudi soil, the king shook her hand, a gesture that shattered Muslim traditions in which men do not shake the hands of women.

The act did not go unnoticed.

Melania Trump Gets Handshake From Saudi Arabia King In A Land Where Women Don’t Shake Hands…

Donald and Melania Trump kick off their epic trip in 110-degree weather in Saudi Arabia, which is a country that has gone all-out to receive the new president and first lady of the United States. ...

@LeahR77 Melania did the respected thing with the nice pant suit, no scarf needed, and she waited for them to extend a handshake. Great First Lady!
One commentator noted that coupled with the refusal of Melania and Ivanka Trump to wear headscarves, it was a very non-traditional start to the Saudi leg of trump’s first foreign trip as president.
“As usual, the mainstream media is falling all over themselves to report the best criticisms they can come up with. Funny enough, the widespread obsession with critiquing the president has the media missing the real story on this one,” wrote Mary Kate Knorr on Young Conservatives.
“The Saudi Arabian King shook Melania’s hand. The Quran forbids Muslim men from shaking hands with women. And Muslims are kinda pissed about it,” she added.

According to the Quran and Hadiths, Muslim men strictly forbidden to shake hands with non-Musim women. The King must be a special Muslim?
Melania and Ivanka Trump did make a concession to Muslim dress codes and wore clothes that wore almost entirely covered them. Melania Trump wore a sleeved black robe top with pants and a gold belt while Ivanka Trump wore a black-and-white dress with long sleeves.

This Lawsuit Raises Ugly Questions About Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton’s back in the hot seat.
The former President’s connections to billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein are once again in the news.
And it’s raising ugly questions Bill Clinton would prefer never be asked.
Virginia Giuffre is bringing a civil suit, alleging she was lured into sexual slavery by Epstein’s girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell.
Giuffre has made claims that she was on Epstein’s private island with Bill Clinton, and had dinner with Al Gore and his wife.
    Politico reports:
“Maxwell’s lawyers appear likely to try to discredit Giuffre by painting her as a fabulist and serial liar—and have signaled they may drag other prominent figures into the proceedings.
Over the years, Giuffre has claimed that while traveling with Epstein she saw Clinton on Epstein’s private island and once ate with Vice President Al Gore and his then-wife Tipper. Maxwell’s attorneys have signaled plans to explore both claims at the trial.”
Politico points out that no Secret Service logs exist to back up that claim.
But it’s also true that on at least five occasions, Bill Clinton ditched his Secret Service detail to fly on Epstein’s private jet.
    Fox News reports:
“Former President Bill Clinton was a much more frequent flyer on a registered sex offender’s infamous jet than previously reported, with flight logs showing the former president taking at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” — even apparently ditching his Secret Service detail for at least five of the flights, according to records obtained by FoxNews.com.
Clinton’s presence aboard Jeffrey Epstein’s Boeing 727 on 11 occasions has been reported, but flight logs show the number is more than double that, and trips between 2001 and 2003 included extended junkets around the world with Epstein and fellow passengers identified on manifests by their initials or first names, including “Tatiana.” The tricked-out jet earned its Nabakov-inspired nickname because it was reportedly outfitted with a bed where passengers had group sex with young girls.”
Clinton’s associations with Epstein were an issue in the Presidential campaign.
Then Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus blasted Clinton for his dealings with the billionaire pedophile.
    Politico reports:
Clinton’s ties to Epstein became an issue during the recent presidential race. Reince Priebus, then chairman of the Republican National Committee, was among Republicans who demanded a full accounting of the former president’s dealings with Epstein. “When you hang out with a guy who has a reputation like Jeffrey Epstein, multiple times, on private jets, on weekends, on trips, on places at least where it’s been reported not very good things happen, it would be good to know what our former president was doing, especially because it appears he’s going to be part of a campaign ticket on the other side of the aisle,” Priebus told Bloomberg in 2015.
This lawsuit may raise some ugly questions for the former President.
And the answers may be ones no one wants to hear.
    G’day…Ciao…….
