‘Going to be a bombshell’: DiGenova gets specific over alleged FISA abuse, ‘not going to need 1 lawyer, going to need 5’
“John Brennan isn’t going to need one lawyer. He’s going to need five,” he said specifically of Brennan while speaking on “The Ingraham Angle” with guest host Mike Huckabee.
Why? Because of the role he’d allegedly played in crafting the viral Russian collusion narrative. In January of 2017, Brennan and Comey briefed President Donald Trump about the Steele dossier. This briefing was then used as a pretext by the media to publish the dossier in full.
It’s long been theorized that the duo had purposefully broached the debunked dossier with Trump so as to provide the mediate with an allegedly “legitimate” reason to disseminate the salacious document to the public and thus create the still-alive narrative of collusion.
BREAKING: A high-level source tells me it was Brennan who insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier be included in the Intelligence Report... Brennan should be asked to testify under oath in Congress ASAP.
Some have alleged that the dossier was also used to spur the launch of special counsel Robert Mueller’s fruitless investigation into alleged Russian collusion by Trump’s 2016 campaign.
“It has been evident from day one that there was a brazen plot to exonerate Hillary Clinton illegally, and then if she lost the election, to frame Donald Trump. This dossier was a knowing part of that. It was created by Hillary Clinton. It was created knowingly by John Brennan as part of a scheme to do everything they could to harm Donald Trump,” diGenova said Wednesday.
“The problem for Brennan and Clapper and Comey and Baker and all of them now is that the FISA court has already communicated with the Justice Department about its findings, and their findings are that for more than four years before the election of Donald Trump, there was an illegal spying operation going on by FBI contractors, four of them, to steal personal information, electronic information about Americans, and to use it against the Republican Party.”
According to diGenova, Comey will need a couple of lawyers as well.
“[T]here is the Horowitz report coming out in May or possibly early June. There is another report that everybody has forgotten about involving James Comey alone. That will be out in two weeks. That report is going to be a bombshell. It’s going to open up the investigation on a very high note,” he said.
It’s unclear what he had been speaking about.
While it’s true that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz is on the verge of completing an investigation into the possible abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act by the Obama DOJ, that report will focus on the entire scandal, not just Comey.
According to a recent report by The Federalist, last year members of the then-GOP-led Congress did refer Comey “for prosecution for leaking classified information and for lying about the decision to exonerate Hillary Clinton,” but that referral was subsequently ignored.
“There will be criminal referrals in it,” diGenova continued, dovetailing back to Horowitz’ incoming report. “The FISA court abuse is the center of this entire abuse of governmental power. The chief judge of that court has already ruled that the FBI broke the law and that the people at the head of the Justice Department, Sally Yates, John Carlin, the assistant attorney general all knew about it and lied to the FISA court about it.”
The only problem is that Horowitz’ report is too limited in scope, in that it doesn’t apply to a bunch of the other alleged abuses that occurred in the Obama Justice Department.
That’s why, diGenova argued earlier in the week on former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly’s independently ran “No Spin News,” it’s imperative that Attorney General William Barr follow through on his threat to launch a full-scale criminal investigation into the Obama admin’s abuses.
“Barr knows that the only way to have accountability and therefore to restore the credibility of the FBI and the Department of Justice and the CIA and the intelligence community is to have a full-scale, criminal investigation,” he said to O’Reilly on Monday. “I believe he’s going to do that and I believe he will begin with the Horowitz report, which he will use as a fulcrum.”
Listen:On Wednesday retired U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova reiterated his call for certain members of the Obama administration, namely disgraced former FBI Director James Comey and disgraced former CIA Director John Brennan, to “lawyer up” immediately for their own sake.
Following the completion of special counsel Robert Mueller’s fruitless investigation into Russian collusion and obstruction of justice, Barr revealed that he believes “spying did occur” on Trump’s election campaign and vowed to investigate the investigators.
“The revelations in the Horowitz report are going to be awful,” diGenova added. “They’re going to be condemning of senior DOJ/FBI officials.”
“If that’s true, all Hell is going to break loose,” O’Reilly replied.
“And Horowitz is going to recommend criminal referrals – quite a few of them, actually,” diGenova continued.
When then asked by O’Reilly how certain he is that this will happen, he replied, “100%”
Scam of the Century: Scientific Study Destroys Electric Car Debate
By C. DOUGLAS GOLDEN
If you think you’re saving the environment by driving a Tesla, well, let me let you in on a bit of a secret: You could perhaps emit less carbon if you went with a diesel car.
The findings of a new study by a group of German scientists seem counterintuitive at first. They found that electric vehicles in their home country accounted for more emissions than those smoggy diesels.
Until, that is, you realize that “zero emissions” vehicles aren’t really so zero emissions
“When CO2 emissions linked to the production of batteries and the German energy mix — in which coal still plays an important role — are taken into consideration, electric vehicles emit 11% to 28% more than their diesel counterparts, according to the study, presented on Wednesday at the Ifo Institute in Munich,” the Brussels Times reported.
“Mining and processing the lithium, cobalt and manganese used for batteries consume a great deal of energy,” the report said. “A Tesla Model 3 battery, for example, represents between 11 and 15 tonnes of CO2.
“Given a lifetime of 10 years and an annual travel distance of 15,000 kilometres, this translates into 73 to 98 grams of CO2 per kilometre, scientists Christoph Buchal, Hans-Dieter Karl and Hans-Werner Sinn noted in their study.”
When you factor in the energy needed to charge the batteries, this ups that total to 156 to 180 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
The study’s authors recommended that instead of pushing for the adoption of “zero emission” electric cars, European officials should instead move toward other sources of power for automobiles — namely methane, “whose emissions are one-third less than those of diesel motors.”
This, by the way, is hardly the only study that’s questioned whether electric cars are really as environmentally friendly as their proponents claim.
A 2017 study by researchers at the University of Michigan found that the amount of CO2 emitted by electric cars varied wildly by country, but it certainly wasn’t zero.
“The report — authored by Michael Sivak and Brandon Schoettle — notes that an electric car recharged by a coal-fired plant produces as much CO2 as a gasoline-powered car that gets 29 miles per gallon,” Investors Business Daily reported. “(For context, the average mpg of all the cars, SUVs, vans and light trucks sold in the U.S. over the past year is 25.2 mpg.) A plug-in recharged by a natural gas-powered plant is like driving a car that gets 58 miles per gallon.
“Solar, wind and geothermal do far better on this score, but they generate a small portion of the nation’s electricity. More than 64% of electricity is generated by coal, natural gas or other fossil fuels.
“The U of M researchers calculate that, given the energy mix in the U.S., the average plug-in produces as much CO2 as a conventional car that gets 55.4 miles per gallon.”
That’s not terrible, but it’s not great, either. And keep in mind, the cost of electricity goes up the more renewables you throw into the mix, which dissuades people from adopting them.
For other countries, the cars fare even worse. In China, which has been pushing widespread adoption of electric vehicles, the cars put out as much CO2 as a car that gets 40 miles per gallon.
“And even this exaggerates the environmental benefits of electric cars because the report doesn’t take into account the additional CO2 emissions involved in making batteries,” the IBD report said.
“A separate study from the Union of Concerned Scientists found that, depending on the type of plug-in being built, manufacturing a battery-powered car generates anywhere from 15% to 68% more CO2 emissions than a conventional gas-powered car,” the report said. “The reason is that producing the batteries is incredibly energy intensive.”
Now, if you like owning an electric car, that’s fine. But if your reason for owning it is that you think you’re doing the environment a favor, you’re wrong.
The idea that these vehicles have “zero emissions” might be one of the biggest scams of the 21st century, particularly given how expensive renewable energy currently is.
No matter what owners of these vehicles may believe, smug can’t eliminate smog.

Just Leaked recording reveals Michael Cohen destroys Dem hopes of using his future testimonies

Michael Cohen, former attorney for President Donald Trump, apparently reneged on his admissions for some of his alleged crimes, indicating that he only pleaded guilty to avoid dragging his wife through a prolonged legal battle.
The revelations came from a recorded March 25 phone call he had with actor and Cohen's close friend Tom Arnold, the audio of which The Wall Street Journal obtained and published Wednesday. Although Cohen reportedly stood by his plea on campaign finance violations, which implicated the president over his alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels, he appeared to reverse admissions related to tax evasion and a charge related to a home equity line of credit (HELOC).
“There is no tax evasion,” Cohen said. “And the HELOC? I have an 18 percent loan-to-value on my home. How could there be a HELOC issue?" Cohen portrayed himself as a victim — noting how he lost his insurance, business, and law license — and lamented the lack of support he received after coming forward to law enforcement.
"I shouldn't be alone anymore. I mean, after over a hundred hours of testimony, right, including seven-and-a-half hours of being beaten up on national television," he said.
He also described his dedication to his wife, Laura Shusterman, and his intent to help her avoid legal trouble. "I love this woman. I am not going to let her get dragged into the mud of this crap," he said before noting he wasn't expecting the three-year sentence he received.
Cohen's name made its way back into the news in April when Special Counsel Robert Mueller released his report on the Russia investigation. Mueller's report made 14 criminal referrals, which included Cohen, who admitted to paying Daniels hush money just before the 2016 presidential election.
While Trump has denied wrongdoing related to that payment and another to Karen McDougal, Cohen stood by his guilty plea. "They had me on campaign finance," he said in the call with Arnold.
During his call, Cohen appeared to describe the conflict he faced in turning on the president, whom he had served for a decade. "I needed to get the truth out there, and (it's) very hard when you spend 10 years taking care of somebody and their family," Cohen told Arnold.
"And look, I always knew, you know, who he was and what he was and so on, but it didn't really matter because it's — he's a small microcosm of New York real estate. It's very different when you start looking to seeing what's happening now in the country," he said.
Former mayor Rudy Giuliani, Trump's new attorney, labeled Cohen's walkback "poetic justice."
"Since Cohen began composing for the Angry Democrats he has demonstrably lied under oath in his guilty plea and his testimony to Elijah 'I’ll throw the book at you' Cummings," Giuliani said in another tweet. "Report ignores all of this and provides no facts to evaluate Cohen’s credibility. One of many deceptions," he said in an apparent dig at the Journal.
Cohen's attorney, Lanny Davis, told Fox News: “Nothing said by Mr. Cohen to Tom Arnold contradicts Mr. Cohen’s previous defense attorney, Guy Petrillo, in his sentencing memorandum to the presiding federal U.S. District Court Judge William H. Pauley III back in December. I would also add the important words used by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and others, in describing Michael Cohen’s cooperation and testimony as 'credible' addressing the 'core' issues involved in his investigation.”
The White House did not respond for a request for comment.
Fox News' Tamara Gitt contributed to this report.
Michael Cohen walks back parts of guilty plea
Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former lawyer, walked back responsibility for some of the federal crimes he pleaded guilty to during a secretly recorded phone call with comedian Tom Arnold, according to a report on Wednesday.
“There is no tax evasion,” Cohen said on the call, referring to one of the charges to which he pleaded guilty.
In the 36-minute recording that Arnold provided to the Wall Street Journal, Cohen complained about not getting a break from the three-year prison sentence that he’s expected to begin on May 6.
”You would think that you would have folks, you know, stepping up and saying, ’You know what, this guy’s lost everything,'” Cohen whined on the March 25 call.
”My family’s happiness, and my law license,” he continued. “I lost my business … my insurance, my bank accounts, all for what? All for what? Because Trump, you know, had an affair with a porn star? That’s really what this is about.”
Cohen told Arnold that he pleaded to the charges in August because federal prosecutors had “me on campaign finance” and they were using his wife as leverage.
”I love this woman, and I am not going to let her get dragged into the mud of this crap,”Cohen said. ”And I never thought the judge was going to throw a three-year fricking sentence.”
He hid from the IRS $2.4 million in interest payments he received from loans, some of which were in accounts under his wife’s name.
His lawyer, Lanny Davis, said Cohen has “taken responsibility for his crimes” and will report to prison as scheduled.
”While he cannot change the past, he is making every effort to reclaim his life and do right by his family and country. He meant no offense by his statements,” Davis told the Wall Street Journal.
The Manhattan US attorney’s office declined to comment.
Cohen pleaded to eight charges, including campaign finance violations for making hush-payments to porn star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal who alleged affairs with Trump.
The president denied having sex with them.
The conservation between Cohen and Arnold happened on the same day that Michael Avenatti, Daniels’ onetime lawyer, was charged by the feds for trying to extort Nike.
Cohen reveled in the celebrity lawyer’s bust.
“Look at what’s happening to Avenatti – it’s called karma boomerang,” Cohen told Arnold. “The guy lied about me every single day, right? And the world loved it.”
Arnold first reached out to Cohen last June and called him in March to reconnect, telling the newspaper he did so to offer “moral support.”
Arnold recorded the call, he said, because Cohen “tapes everything and I wanted to remember what we talked about.”

Following the complete exoneration of President Trump on the hoax allegations of collusion with Russia, the legacy media is attempting to pick up the pieces and investigate what went wrong.
The New York Times, which inserted — without evidence — mountains of anonymously sourced false information into the American mainstream consciousness, has taken a renewed focus on the Steele dossier, which was reportedly an integral piece of source material for the Obama administration’s surveillance operation against the Trump campaign.
“Now the dossier — financed by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee, and compiled by the former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele — is likely to face new, possibly harsh scrutiny from multiple inquiries,” The Times reports.
Christopher Steele and his Steele dossier were just one element of a campaign that was not only being financed, but appeared to be entirely manufactured and controlled by Hillary Clinton and the DNC. The Russia collusion hoax originated with Hillary Clinton, and the burden should be on her campaign and the DNC. It butchers the chain of responsibility to hold Christopher Steele, the contracted “researcher,” ultimately accountable for defending everything that spawned from the Clinton-DNC operation, which was later leveraged by the Obama administration.
The fraudulent narrative that Donald Trump was a Russian agent began to make its way into the media — and throughout the Obama Intelligence Community — during the late stages of the 2016 presidential election, likely as a means to help candidate Hillary Clinton secure her electoral victory by delegitimizing her opponent through the use of a black propaganda operation.
During the campaign, Team Clinton hired Fusion GPS, which then worked with Steele to produce and disseminate the dossier, according to the media narrative.
But we must also recall that in parallel with the Fusion GPS campaign, political operatives with deep ties to the Clinton family emerged with a reported second dossier — which according to reports, was practicallyidentical to the Steele dossier — and began to disseminate to the media its false information about Donald Trump’s supposed ties to the Russians.
But the “second dossier” was too close to Hillary Clinton, and media outlets, likely recognizing that they would be identified as even greater shills for Clinton, recognized dossier number two as a political document and largely refused to run a story detailing its allegations, but for an embarrassingly hackish story in The Guardian.
Although he had potential legal baggage as a foreigner and former British spy working on a U.S. political campaign, Steele’s credentials still provided the necessary authority to make his dossier appear as legitimate intelligence. Still, many saw the dossier for what it was — junk opposition “research” without any confirmed sources. Not even the likes of The New York Times and Washington Post would publish a dossier crafted by Christopher Steele, let alone Sidney Blumenthal and Cody Shearer, the Clinton family political hatchet men. But that’s what BuzzFeed is for. BuzzFeed publishing the Steele dossier — to this day, not a single major allegation in the dossier has been confirmed — gave a green light to the rest of the media to “report” on its absurd claims. The bogus dossier also provided the justification for the Obama administration (and later, rogue FBI directors in the Trump administration) to leverage the dossier to conduct surveillance on Trump-connected individuals.
Because Steele was a “former spy,” that seemed to be enough for the likes of the late Sen. John McCain, fired FBI Director James Comey, former CIA chief John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and many other top lawmakers and government officials to stand by Steele’s Clinton-backed work for years. But now that the Mueller investigation has ended, those aforementioned former government officials are nowhere to be found when it comes to taking responsibility for advancing the Steele dossier.
If Congress and the media are going to scrutinize what went wrong, their focus should begin with the Hillary Clinton campaign, and particularly Hillary Clinton herself. Was it merely a coincidence that the second dossier mirrored the first, or was Steele just a front man for the Russia hoax? To cast Christopher Steele as the man ultimately responsible for Spygate is to protect the individuals responsible for spawning the Russia hoax.

Trump himself pushed to condemn abortion in State of the Union: WH Chief of Staff
(LifeSiteNews) – President Trump’s chief of staff revealed Tuesday that Trump himself personally edited his 2019 State of the Union address to add a strong condemnation of Democrats’ abortion extremism.
President Trump made headlines in his February 5 address by strongly condemning New York’s newly passed radical abortion expansion law and Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s support of late term abortion.
During an address at the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday, acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said those comments were edited in by hand by Trump as he reviewed the final draft of his speech.
The State of the Union followed closely on the heels of New York State’s January 22 passage of the so-called Reproductive Health Act, which enshrined abortion as a “fundamental right” in state law, allows non-doctors to perform abortion, and eliminated pro-life protections for unborn children until their birth.
The law is considered the most radical abortion expansion in the nation and set the stage for other states to follow suit, drawing condemnation from pro-life quarters and beyond.
Within the following week Virginia Governor Ralph Northam also caused a firestorm with his expressed support for late-term abortion in a radio interview discussion of a proposed bill in the commonwealth that would permit abortion for mothers already in the process of giving birth.
Trump castigated both of these extreme affirmations of abortion in no uncertain terms in his State of the Union address, calling upon Congress to pass legislation banning late term abortion and declaring that unborn children are made in the image of God.
“There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our nation saw in recent days,” he told the nation.
“Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth,” he said. “These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world.”
Trump then continued, “And then, we had the case of the governor of Virginia where he stated he would execute a baby after birth. To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb.”
“Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life,” Trump said. “And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth — all children — born and unborn— are made in the holy image of God.”
Trump’s stance on abortion has come around since the 2016 campaign, and he’s taken concrete action to protect and support life in office.
Almost immediately he reinstated and expanded the Mexico City Policy, he has cut off taxpayer funding for the U.N. Population Fund, which supports China’s forced abortion and sterilization program, and he has overturned Obama-era regulations protecting federal funding for abortion facilities. His administration has also acted to defund Planned Parenthood.
Trump is also the first sitting president to address the March for Life live via satellite, and his Vice President Mike Pence has addressed the March in person, the first sitting vice president to do so.
Trump has also acted to support federal conscience and religious freedom protections for people of faith.
Nonetheless, the president remains a polarizing figure for many despite his strong pro-life record.
Mulvaney told the prayer breakfast that people of all denominations and faiths in the administration are “very vocal” and are encouraged to “work it into our policies,” according to a report from Crux.
The presence of faith “makes us a better administration and makes us a better country,” Mulvaney said.
He also spoke of Trump’s regular efforts to challenge world leaders on religious freedom, specifically, anti-Christian persecution.
Mulvaney said that in the past two and a half years, the president has told leaders “you’re not doing enough to take care of the Christians in your country,” or on the other hand to the chance to thank particular leaders for their efforts in helping Christians in their particular country.
“I won’t lie to you, that that’s pretty powerful stuff,” Mulvaney said regarding Trump’s engagement on the issue of Christian persecution. He said that the president’s way of speaking about faith “probably hasn’t been articulated in the Oval Office in way too long.”
His recounting of Trump’s impromptu effort to add the lines into his State of the Union address calling out New York’s abortion law Northam’s late term abortion support met with whistles and applause from the audience, the Crux report said.
Despite the political climate and polarization in U.S. politics, Mulvaney told the Catholic gathering that he was “comfortable” serving in the Trump administration and with its priorities, a report from the Catholic Herald said.
“The principles of our [Catholic] faith are alive and well and well-respected in this administration and are driving many of our policies,” Mulvaney said.

Report: Kim Jong-un Sent Four Officials to the Firing Squad After Failed Trump Summit
BEN KEW
Korean Central News Agency/Korea News Service via AP
North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un reportedly executed four senior communist officials via firing squad following his failed meeting with President Donald Trump in Vietnam, according to a report from the Japanese news agency Asia Press on Wednesday.
The agency spoke with a North Korean trade official who heard the rumor about the executions, reportedly ordered by Kim Jong-un after he failed to secure the lifting of sanctions following his meeting with President Donald Trump in Hanoi in February. The official also claimed that members of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and the Korean People’s Army were forced to watch the executions.
The meeting, convened amid ongoing peace negotiations between the two countries, was eventually cut short after the two sides failed to reach an agreement about lifting sanctions in exchange for the halting and eventual dismantlement of the country’s aggressive nuclear program.
“Chairman Kim and myself, we want to do the right deal,” Trump said at the time. “Speed is not important. What’s important is that we do the right deal.”
When asked whether he was serious about denuclearizing his country, Kim told reporters: “If I weren’t willing to do that, I wouldn’t be here right now.”
Although the report cannot be independently verified, the 35-year-old has executed countless communist officials since seizing power in 2012, including his own uncle. The regime also routinely executes those deemed insufficiently loyal to it or those charged with “crimes” such as practicing Christianity or watching foreign films.
Despite the Kim regime’s atrocious human rights record, President Donald Trump has publicly displayed a warm attitude towards the young dictator, revealing they have gotten to know each other very well and talking up a potentially prosperous economic future for the communist state.
“Kim is a person I’ve gotten to know very well, and respect and hopefully, and I really believe over a period of time, a lot of tremendous things will happen,” he said following the last summit. “I think North Korea has tremendous potential.”
On Wednesday, Kim arrived in the Russian city of Vladivostok to hold bilateral talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, who has long been a steadfast ally of the communist regime since the days of Kim’s father, Kim Jong-il.
“I came to Russia with the warm sentiments of our people I hope that this visit will be successful and useful,” Kim said. “I hope that during negotiations with President Putin I will be able to discuss issues of the settlement on the Korean Peninsula and the development of our bilateral relations in detail.”
