PRESIDENT TRUMP SUGGESTS JOHN KERRY VIOLATED THE LOGAN ACT OVER IRAN

President Donald Trump tweeted Monday morning that former Obama Secretary of State John Kerry might be in “big violation” of the Logan Act over his talks with Iran.
Trump’s tweet came after his admiy were ending sanctions waivers for Iranian crude oil in an effort to increase economic pressure on the Islamic state.
“Saudi Arabia and others in OPEC will more than make up the Oil Flow difference in our now Full Sanctions on Iranian Oil. Iran is being given VERY BAD advice by [Kerry] and people who helped him lead the U.S. into the very bad Iran Nuclear Deal. Big violation of Logan Act?” Trump said on Twitter.

Kerry helped negotiate the contentious Iran nuclear deal, popularly known as the “Iran deal,” with the long-time U.S. adversary in 2015 and has sought to defend the deal’s legacy in the years since he left office. The Trump administration officially pulled out of the deallast year, with Trump calling it a “horrible deal that should never, ever have been made.”
After pulling out of the deal, the administration released a list of demands, including urging the Iranian regime to stop all proliferation and end its support for terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah, Hamas and Al Qaeda.
Kerry responded to the decision by claiming that it “weakens our security, breaks America’s word, isolates us from our European allies, puts Israel at greater risk, empowers Iran’s hardliners, and reduces our global leverage to address Tehran’s misbehavior.”
Last year, Kerry reportedly had discussions with Iranian officials and several world leaders in an attempt to salvage the deal, leading some to suggest that the former Secretary of State was in violation of the Logan Act.
The Logan Act was signed into law by President John Adams at the genesis of the Republic in 1799. The Act prohibits “private correspondence with foreign governments,” and states that U.S. citizens cannot “directly or indirectly” have any “correspondence” with a foreign government in relation to any dispute with the United States.nistration announced Monday that the

Pop icon Cher questioned the wisdom of Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) recent declaration that felons, even terrorists, should have the right to vote.
“Does Bernie Sanders Really Believe Ppl In Prison Who Are Murderers⁉️ Rapists⁉️ Child Molesters⁉️ BOSTON BOMBERS.…STILL DESERVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE⁉️” Cher asked in a social media post Tuesday.

Bernie Sanders voiced his belief that felons should not be deprived of a right to vote earlier this month. During a CNN town hall Monday night, Sanders was again asked about his position by host Don Lemon.
“Yes, even for terrible people because once you start chipping away — you say, ‘That guy committed a terrible crime, we’re not going to let him vote,’ or ‘that person did that,’ you’re running down a slippery slope,” the socialist candidate said. “So, I believe people who commit crimes, they pay the price and they get out of jail, they certainly should have the right to vote…I believe even if they are in jail, they’re paying the price to society, but that should not take away their inherent American right to participate in our democracy.”
Cher’s political opinions are usually that of a typical Hollywood liberal, and she has frequently shared deranged fantasies like President Donald Trump being placed in a “straight jacket.”
However, the 72-year-old recently veered into politically incorrect territory when it comes to the issue of immigration and questioned why some wanted Los Angeles to take in even more immigrants when it already has a large homeless population.
“I Understand Helping struggling Immigrants, but MY CITY (Los Angeles) ISNT TAKING CARE OF ITS OWN.WHAT ABOUT THE 50,000+ [American’ Citizens WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS,” the “Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves” said. “PPL WHO LIVE BELOW POVERTY LINE,& HUNGRY? If My State Can’t Take Care of Its Own(Many Are VETS)How Can it Take Care Of More.”

Kudlow: Socialism Brings Poverty, Not Prosperity
BY EMEL AKAN
Top White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow denounced socialism, which has become popular among Democratic presidential candidates, calling the political ideology “a loser.”
“Look, I am an ex-Democrat,” Kudlow said. “Actually, I have worked for two presidents who were ex-Democrats, Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump.”
“I will say this, socialism is a loser. I don’t want us to forget the lessons of the past.”
Speaking at a National Press Club event on April 23, Kudlow said collectivist, central planning, and government-run economies throughout history have failed.
“They sap our morale, they reduce our freedom, they tend to turn into really tyrannical political situations.”
Kudlow’s remarks came amid rising support for policies among members of the Democratic Party such as Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. The Trump administration repeatedly has accused Democrats of going “far to the left” and becoming “radical” for embracing such ideas.
“But most of all, from my standpoint as an economics guy, they don’t have prosperity. They generate poverty,” Kudlow said.
“We are at the beginning of a new prosperity wave in this country. We are the hottest economy in the world. Confidence is building,” he said. “Why would we want to pursue policies that could—I think in total—slice 15 percent of GDP right out within 10 years?”
The Medicare for All plan would cost the economy more than $32 trillionover a decade, according to a study by the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, a libertarian policy center. Historic tax increases would be required to pay for the price tag, stated the report. And these tax hikes would lower household incomes by $17,000 annually, according to the estimates of the White House Council of Economic Advisers.
Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) drew a lot of attention recently for suggesting tax rates as high as 70 percent to fund the Green New Deal, an ambitious new environmental agenda.
Many of the Democratic presidential candidates, including Sens. Cory Booker (N.J.), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), and Kamala Harris (Calif.), are among the co-sponsors of both Medicare for All and the Green New Deal.
Heading into 2020 elections, exposing socialism will be a key focus of Trump’s reelection campaign, according to Kayleigh McEnany, press secretary for the Trump 2020 campaign.
She told The Epoch Times that the campaign didn’t plan to tackle socialism, but had to make an adjustment, given that a majority of the contenders support the ideology.
Federal Reserve and Immigration
Separately, Kudlow stressed that he believed in the Federal Reserve’s independence. He defended Trump’s comments about desiring lower interest rates, stating that he was expressing his opinions.
Trump has repeatedly criticized the Fed for raising rates. He also denounced the central bank’s balance sheet reduction program.
“The President believes and I contend that Fed’s target rate should be lower,” Kudlow said.
He noted the Fed’s target inflation numbers were coming down and this could lead to lower interest rates.
When asked whether Trump knows about the Fed’s dual mandate, which are maximum employment and stable prices, Kudlow said, “Of course he does.”
“Yeah, he gets it. He’s a smart guy, very well informed. Trust me,” he said.
Kudlow also noted that economic growth in the first quarter was “coming in much stronger than a lot of us feared,” and repeated that growth would be 3 percent in 2019.
Kudlow said his views about immigration have changed. He and Stephen Moore, Trump’s Fed board nominee, once criticized Trump’s position on immigration.
“That was right at the beginning of the campaign. There was a lot of misinformation. There was a lot of rumors. We had the story wrong. That often happens,” Kudlow explained.
“The more we learned, the more we changed our view on this. I think the president has very sound immigration views frankly, once we got to know more about that.”

Ilhan Omar, other top Dems caught breaking House rules: Report
Sen. Bernie Sanders (VT), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (NY), and Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN) are among the loudest voices in the Democratic Party railing about “dark money.” But as it turns out, all three of them are part of a group that is funded with dark money that is being used by all three of them — which is against House rules.
While Nancy Pelosi is unlikely to punish her party members for their egregious affiliation with the Congressional Progressive Caucus Center (CPCC), conservatives everywhere are calling for their removals.
“This whole scheme is a direct violation of federal law requiring Congress to utilize only appropriated funds for its operations,” said Cleta Mitchell, an attorney specializing in political law. “There are so many legal issues with this setup: violations of federal law, violations of House rules, and complete disregard for the rule of law.”
Our guess is they will try to keep this under the radar as much as possible in the hopes that someone does not pick up on it. Too late!G’day…Ciao…
