A Complete Win for President Trump: AG William Barr Summary of Mueller Witch Hunt: No Russian Collusion, No Obstruction, No Conspiracy — A Two-Year NothingburgerJUSTICE DEPARTMENT DELIVERS MUELLER CONCLUSIONS TO CONGRESS – NO COLLUSION

Attorney General William Barr delivered a report of the special counsel’s Russia investigation to Congress on Sunday.

By far the most significant finding in the four-page letter is that the special counsel did not find evidence that President Trump or members of his campaign conspired with Russians to influence the 2016 election. Barr also said that evidence was not sufficient to establish that Trump obstructed justice during the investigation.

“The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities,” Mueller wrote in the report, according to Barr’s letter, which he sent to the chairmen and ranking members of the Senate and House Judiciary Committees.

Barr also said that the special counsel, which consisted of 19 lawyers, found no evidence “that any U.S. person or Trump campaign official or associate” conspired or “knowingly coordinated” with Russian efforts to use social media platforms to spread disinformation during the 2016 campaign. Nor did Trump associates conspire with Russians in the efforts to hack Democrats’ emails and disseminate them online.

That finding would seemingly clear current and former Trump associates like Roger Stone, Michael Cohen and Carter Page of allegations that they helped aid Russian hacks of Democrats’ emails.

In addition to investigating collusion, Robert Mueller, the special counsel, also probed whether Trump illegally obstructed the FBI’s Russia probe, either by firing James Comey as FBI director or by shutting down other parts of the probe.

According to Barr, Mueller’s report “does not conclude that the President committed a crime,” but “it also does not exonerate him.”  Barr, who took office last month, said that after consulting with Justice Department officials, including Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, he determined that the evidence was not sufficient enough to show that Trump obstructed justice.

Barr revealed in his letter that nearly 2,800 subpoenas were issued and 500 witness interviews conducted during the investigation.

Mueller delivered a comprehensive report of his 22-month investigation to the Justice Department on Friday. The hand off signaled that the investigation was over and that Mueller would be issuing no more indictments in the probe.

Barr said in a letter to the Judiciary committees on Friday that he would provide Congress with Mueller’s conclusions from the investigation, which focused on whether members of the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to influence the 2016 election and whether President Trump obstructed justice.

Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein spent much of Saturday and Sunday reviewing Mueller’s report, which one official described as “comprehensive.”

The Justice Department is not required to provide the entire report to Congress. Instead, regulations governing special counsel’s investigations require only that the attorney general inform Congress about decisions to issue indictments or decline indictments.

Mueller indicted 37 individuals and three Russian companies during the investigation. Six Trump associates pleaded guilty or were charged in the probe, though none were charged with conspiring with Russia.

Barr’s delivery marks a significant milestone in the investigation, but it will now touch off a new waiting game for a release of more details from the probe. Democrats have already said that they are unwilling to settle for a mere summary of Mueller’s findings. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler has said he will subpoena the Justice Department for the report, and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff has suggested subpoenaing Mueller himself.
Some Republicans, likely emboldened by the belief that the report undercuts theories of collusion, have also said that they support Mueller’s findings being made public.

China tests America more broadly than the trade issues capturing the headlines. It compliments the left’s cultural assault on our nation’s founding ideals, and the latter could restore Old World tyranny to America.
The United States was established by European migrants and Africans brought here against their will. They labored as farmers, merchants and craftsmen in small cities and rural settlements largely isolated from one another but gradually united by experiences that emerged from separated experiments in capitalism and local governance.
Americans emerged, culturally distinct from the British, not defined by a unifying ethnicity or religion, but rather from shared ideas that men seeking their fortunes in free markets and governing themselves through the ballot box are the best paths to personal and shared prosperity and security.
Americans threw off old world mercantilism and aristocracy.
America demanded a lot from ordinary people — self-reliance and self-discipline to accept the judgments of the marketplace and outcome of elections. Americans don’t take to arms when the other side wins.
After the Revolution, a few million settlers living within 100 miles of the Atlantic coast scaled two mountain ranges, settled the West and built industries, cities and great universities. The country suffered a terrible war to rid itself of the scourge of slavery.
In 1876, Europeans flocked to the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition to marvel at a bustling young nation’s technological accomplishments — American leadership of the West had begun.
Now China confronts America, like a distant image in the memory of our childhood — its youth restored and busting at the seams — but it is nothing like we ever were until perhaps now.
The ruling Communist Party expects business leaders to serve its national agenda and the state apparatus censors what citizens may read and tracks with increasing efficiency their thoughts and movements.
Through a well-monitored internet and cameras and facial recognition in public spaces, contemporary China much resembles fascist Germany and pre-war Japan. Those had state directed industry associations and extraordinary pressures for conformity with militarism and supremacist ideologies.
If the 20th century taught us anything, we can’t appease ambitious tyrants—Britain tried at Munich and nearly paid with extinction—or ignore them—the bloodshed of World War II might have been greatly lessened had we confronted Hitler and Tojo sooner.
At least Britain and America were united internally for the long dark war that followed but neither is today. With Brexit, Theresa May is terribly remindful of Neville Chamberlain and too many Britons cannot see that short-term pain is necessary to unshackle from the smothering consequences of the arrogant and elitist-imposed European Union statism.
In America, the left has captured the hearts and minds of many millennials and college-educated women with self-serving sexism, racism and romantic notions about socialism. All personal failures are the handiwork of some devilish collusion among white males or dysfunction of capitalism, and the coercive powers of the state must be marshalled to redress injustice.
Consider, the California Fair Pay Act, which requires even the smallest enterprise to explain hiring decisions in terms of rigid implicit quotas. Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s proposals to ensure corporate boards are controlled by a combination of employees and unelected representative stakeholders. And Sen. Chuck Schumer’s that would prohibit corporations from distributing profits if they don’t meet state-mandated goals.
As national policy those would impose socialist decision-making on virtually all employee contracts and investment decisions, and are more likely to happen than the Green New Deal if the Democrats get full control.
As for mandatory compliance with “Left Think”—that is now open sourced to the pervasive monitoring of Google GOOG, -0.54%  and Facebook FB, -0.25%  and the incessant demands of the media that anyone violating their “values” be denied employment.
President Donald Trump squarely stands in the path of the left’s agenda, and it responds with a state-organized campaign to discredit him and his appointees through endless investigations. I am waiting for the House Judiciary Committee to subpoena the grade-school lunch accounts of Trump and Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Schumer, the Women in White at the State of the Union and media like the New York Times by their actions deny legitimacy of a duly-elected president.
With all this, America is just one election away from capitulating to China.

The Russian collusion hoax began, continued, and ended with Hillary Clinton
Jordan Schachtel
A lot has already been said about the results of the Mueller probe, which, according to Attorney General William Barr, absolved the president of claims that he colluded with Russia and obstructed justice. Now who will be held accountable for promulgating the Russia hoax in the first place?
The Trump-Russia hoax was originally a black propaganda campaign to smear then-candidate Donald Trump as a compromised individual who, if he became president, would be a commander in chief subservient to the Kremlin.
The Russia hoax began during the late stages of the 2016 presidential campaign. Hillary Clinton’s campaign hired the now-infamous opposition research and PR firm Fusion GPS, presumably to conduct an investigation into then-candidate Trump’s ties to Russia. That effort resulted in the Trump-Russia dossier, which was allegedly crafted by former British spy Christopher Steele. In parallel with Fusion’s efforts, political operatives with deep ties to the Clinton family emerged with a second dossier and began to disseminate false information about Donald Trump’s supposed ties to the Russians.
Thanks to the assistance of Hillary Clinton’s connections in government and useful idiots in the Republican Party, the Trump-Russia narrative made its way into the upper echelons of the Obama administration’s Intelligence Community. CIA Director John Brennan, DNI chief James Clapper, and FBI Director James Comey were but a few of the high-ranking intelligence officials who were all too eager to lap up the false Trump-Russia claims. They even leveraged this information to launch an unprecedented surveillance campaign against Donald Trump and his associates.
Although Hillary Clinton ruthlessly smeared Donald Trump as a Russian agent and Obama intelligence agencies regularly leaked stories to the media about the supposedly compromised man that was Donald Trump, none of it stuck. On November 8, 2016, Donald Trump was elected president of the United States.
At first, it seemed that the clock ran out on their investigation. But Hillary Clinton’s campaign set in motion a continuing effort to delegitimize President Trump’s mandate to serve as president.
Thanks to shoddy reporting in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and countless other legacy media publications, coupled with television pundits and politicians on CNN and MSNBC promising that there was indeed collusion, The Trump-Russia hoax was alive and well in the hearts and minds of much of the American public. In addition to the anonymously sourced leaks coming from Obama holdovers in government, many pointed to an Obama Intelligence Community assessment that reportedly relied on the Steele dossier as evidence of a sophisticated Russian plot to interfere in American democracy. The Obama intel report, published just two weeks prior to Donald Trump’s inauguration, concluded that the Russians did indeed interfere in the election.
The appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller, largely on the basis of the sketchy intelligence assessment, allowed for the creation of what amounted to a fourth branch of government. To many on the Left, Hillary Clinton was the president in waiting. She was the real president, they said, and many concluded that it was only a matter of time before Mueller and his team of Democrat prosecutors found evidence of collusion.
In the end, there was no collusion or obstruction. The president has been vindicated and his mandate for office restored beyond the shadow of a doubt. In the end, it was Hillary Clinton who refused to accept the results of the election. Clinton is a seasoned veteran when it comes to escaping criminal prosecution. Will she also escape blame for creating and advancing the biggest hoax in American history.
