Superstar Slime Showdown at Super Bowl 2018

Superstar Slime Showdown at Super Bowl is an hour-long competition special, airing Sunday, Feb. 4, pitting two teams of NFL athletes and Nickelodeon stars against one another in a series of fun and exciting football-themed physical challenges. Hosted by Nick Cannon and featuring NFL athletes including Drew Brees, Stefon Diggs, Todd Gurley, Luke Kuechly, Deion Sanders and DeMarcus Ware, team captains Breanna Yde and Ricardo Hurtado (School of Rock), and a halftime performance by JoJo Siwa (Lip Sync Battle Shorties), the special will be taped at the Super Bowl Experience. Mimicking the four-quarter format of a football game, teams will compete in four NFL-inspired challenges with a Nickelodeon twist, including slime-filled obstacle courses and an end zone celebration dance off. The team with the most points will win the title of Superstar Slime Showdown Champion.
In addition to the title, each Superstar Slime Showdown team will be competing for a local children’s charity. In collaboration with Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play partners, PLAYWORKS and Special Olympics, the winning team will receive a $15,000 donation, and the runner-up will receive a $5,000 donation. PLAYWORKS is the leading national nonprofit leveraging the power of play to improve children’s social and emotional health by increasing opportunities for physical activity at schools. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Additionally, Breanna Yde and Ricardo Hurtado will be bringing fans at home daily reports from Super Bowl Opening Night, the Super Bowl Experience, Super Bowl Live and Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America, airing various times from Wednesday, Jan. 31 – Sunday, Feb. 4.!

Nickelodeon will premiere a new original TV movie, Blurt (formerly Inside Voice), on Monday, Feb. 19, at 7:00 (ET/PT), starring Jace Norman (Henry Danger, Splitting Adam, Rufus), JoJo Siwa (Lip Sync Battle Shorties) and Daniella Perkins (Knight Squad). The live-action comedy tells the story of Jeremy Martin (Jace Norman) who, after a comical virtual reality mishap, starts speaking every thought he has out loud and to complicate matters, he happens to be running in the school election.
Jeremy Martin is a nice-guy and when he puts on mysterious virtual reality glasses at the mall, he suddenly loses his “inside voice” and starts spouting every thought he has out loud. Making matters worse, Jeremy is running for student council president against his classmate Milly (Daniella Perkins), who is full of great ideas to improve the school. Desperate to get back to normal, Jeremy and his sister Victoria (JoJo Siwa) must figure out how to convince his brain that he can speak up for himself.
The virtual reality sequences featured in the movie are being developed and created by Nickelodeon’s Entertainment Lab, the network’s new division spearheading long-range research and development efforts around new technologies for Nick and its audience. Blurt is the second on-air project fed through the lab, following Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library.
Blurt is executive produced by Scott McAboy and Michael Sammaciccia. Amy Sydorick is serving as producer. Jace Norman is serving as co-producer. The TV movie was written by Adrian Vina (Liar, Liar Vampire) and is directed by Michelle Johnston (Another Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits).

Nickelodeon will introduce kids to the wild and amazing world of animals with the brand-new clip-based series Zoofari, premiering Monday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m. (ET/PT). Made up of hilarious live-action footage, Zoofari (20 half-hour episodes) showcases the most adorable and incredible animals from around the world–from furry to feathered, scaly and more. Created and produced by Cisneros Media’s MOBIUS.LAB Productions, a new episode of Zoofari will premiere every weekday through Friday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
The premiere episode of Zoofari, “Best Pets / Jungle Gym,” explores what types of animals–big, small, fluffy, unusual, underwater, and flying–make the best pets, and the daily activities of jungle animals as they stretch, leap and run in their native environments. Throughout the season, kids will also get to spend a day in the life of desert animals, dive into the underwater home of sea dwellers, and discover the unique physical characteristics of some the biggest and the smallest creatures in the world.

Tuesday 13th February 2018 - The Nut Job (2014): In The Nut Job, after he accidentally destroys the winter food supply of his fellow Liberty Park residents, Surly (Will Arnett, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), a squirrel, is banished to the streets of Oakton. Luckily, Surly finds the town's nut shop and hatches a plan to plunder its bounty. However, unbeknown to Surly and his ragtag team of animal associates, the nut shop is really a front for mobsters who plan to rob the bank next door. While Surly and his team break in to the shop, the mobsters carry out their own scheme! Thursday 1st March 2018 - The Princess Diaries (2001): Shy San Francisco teenager Mia Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway) just wants to get through the rigours of high school unharmed, avoiding as many of life's petty embarassments as possible. However, when her long-lost grandmother Clarisse (Julie Andrews, The Sound of Music) appears out of the blue, Mia gets the surprise of her life; it seems she is the real-life princess of a small European principality called Genovia, and is in fact next in line to the throne. Angry that this news has been kept from her, Mia nevertheless agrees to embark on a crash course of princess lessons. But when she begins to get lost in a comic flurry of bungled state engagements and over-eager media attention, the prospective princess and heir apparent to the crown begins to wonder if the royal life is really the right life for her.

Crashletes season three
Nickelodeon's viral sports clip series Crashletes returns for its third season with the most outrageous sports moments and a superstar lineup of guest commentators, on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m. (ET/PT) in the NickSports programming block, which will begin airing on TeenNick that day. Crashletes co-hosts Brandon Broady and Stevie Nelson will be joined by a guest athlete in each episode who will help provide in-depth analysis of viral sports bloopers, blunders and absurdities. Created by Rob Dyrdek and Shane Nickerson of Superjacket Productions (Fantasy Factory, Ridiculousness), Crashletes will premiere with back-to-back premieres on Sunday, Feb. 11 and air regularly on Sundays at 10 a.m. (ET/PT) in TeenNick’s NickSports block.
