GOP Rep Gaetz: Coming Soon ‘We’ll Be Sending an ‘I’m With Her’ T-shirt to Hillary Clinton’s Cellmate’

by JEFF POOR

Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, explained why it was possible former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, could be charged criminally.
Gaetz suggested “bribes” were paid to the Clintons’ family charity to influence policy and that foundation was in effect a “money-laundering operation.”
Transcript as follows:
CARLSON: So, the Clinton people are saying, look, Hillary Clinton has been a private citizen for a long time. She has been out of politics in effect for a year. Why now? What’s the significance of these, do you think, for the rest of the country?
GAETZ: There may have been acts that occurred at the State Department as a consequence of bribes paid to the Clinton Foundation, which are creating an ongoing security concern for the United States of America, Tucker.
Take, for example, the Hezbollah story you just mentioned. It’s not just cocaine that’s being trafficked. You have got Hezbollah working in common cause with narco traffickers in South America to move opium, to move heroin, to move people into the United States.
And the investigation that was going on to degrade these networks, to degrade the collusion between Hezbollah and South American narco traffickers was smothered by people at the Justice Department.
And there is a suspicion that the State Department led by Hillary Clinton had a role in limiting the American people’s access to information about Hezbollah being funded and their operations in this country because they wanted the Iranian Nuclear Deal so bad, they didn’t want us focusing on the fact that Iran has funded over 100 mosques in South America to recruit people and then to send them to the United States to do harm.
CARLSON: So, that’s one of the investigations into that. And it does seem, if true – first of all, it’s hard to defend. But, second, it has obvious national security implications for this country.
Tell us about the investigation into – we know much about it, into the Clinton Foundation.
GAETZ: Well, the accusation is that the Clinton Foundation was merely a money laundering operation where people paid in order to have access to the State Department. And there were notations on particular documents and bids where people would write FOB, “Friend of Bill,” which means those were donors to the Clinton Foundation. And as a consequence, they were given special treatment.
That’s the type of thing that we have to know about now. Not to exercise some revenge on a defeated presidential candidate, but to ensure that we don’t have people right now acting as vendors on behalf of the United States of America, not as a consequence of their merit or what they can do, but because they are friends and potentially donors to the Clinton Foundation.
CARLSON: Yes. That whole operation was false from day one, obviously. Why is it taking so long to get these investigations underway?
GAETZ: We’ve been calling for this for over five months. Twenty members of the House Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Attorney General [Jeff] Sessions saying that we’ve got to look into these things because of the ongoing security concerns.
And, finally, now, we have Hillary Clinton dealing with investigations cascading down on her like it’s a bomb cyclone. I think the day is coming soon, Tucker, when we’ll be sending an “I’m With Her” T-shirt to Hillary Clinton’s cellmate.
CARLSON: So, you think she is criminally exposed potentially?
GAETZ: Absolutely. Look, if people were taking bribes and then, as a consequence of those bribes, engaging in actions that they would not otherwise be engaging in. That is a crime. You cannot do that in the United States of America. And we’ve got to go now and remedy the consequences.
Take, for example, the subject of your show tonight, the opioid problem. If you had people trafficking and would have been found out otherwise, we’ve got to now go back and remediate the harm that the Clintons caused this country.
CARLSON: Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida, thanks for joining us tonight. Appreciate it.
GAETZ: Thank you, Tucker.

DNC Vice-Chair Seen Holding Up Terrorist Organization Playbook
BY BEN MARQUIS

There is little doubt anymore about the terroristic propensity of the far-left antifa group — self-proclaimed anti-fascists who willingly use violent fascist tactics to silence their opposition.
In fact, the violent left-leaning “anarchist” (actually more like communist) group has been deemed a domestic terrorist threat by the Department of Homeland Security, which makes the fact that they were just seemingly endorsed by a rather influential Democrat leader all the more shocking.
According to The Washington Free Beacon, Democrat National Committee vice-chair and Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison recently posted a picture of himself on Twitter smiling and holding up what is essentially the playbook of a known terrorist organization — “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook.”
Ellison tweeted, “At @MoonPalaceBooks and I just found the book that strike fear in the heart of @realDonaldTrump”
Rep. Keith Ellison✔@keithellison
At @MoonPalaceBooks and I just found the book that strike fear in the heart of @realDonaldTrump
According to a review in September of 2017 by The Washington Post, the book was written by a man named Mark Bray, a historian and Occupy Wall Street organizer who also serves as a visiting lecturer at Dartmouth College.

The book delves into the history of the so-called anti-fascist movement over the past century, and was ostensibly written to “contextualize opposition to (President) Trump and the alt-right within a much wider and broader terrain of resistance.”

Even The Post had to admit that the current iteration of antifa’s use of violence to stifle the speech of their opposition made any sort of “contextualization” a bit difficult.

In essence, Bray’s book is self-described as “an unabashedly partisan call to arms,” with the stated goal of combining the various opponents of President Trump’s supposedly fascist regime into an organized front.

One way of doing this is through a tactic known as “no platforming,” in other words, denying their target’s opportunities to speak in public by way of obstructing them, defacing their propaganda and property and even using violence, if necessary.

Such activity is clearly an infringement of antifa’s target’s right to free speech, but Bray stated, “this infringement is justified for its role in the political struggle against fascism.”

However, the Free Beacon reported that Dartmouth has distanced themselves from Bray following the release of his book, and made it clear that they support civil discourse, free speech and open inquiry, and that “the endorsement of violence in any form is contrary to Dartmouth values.”

Yet, it sure seemed like Ellison was endorsing violence to obtain political goals by proudly posing with the antifa playbook, a move which puts him at odds with a top leader in his party, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, according to The Daily Caller.

Indeed, Pelosi had openly condemned the antifa group for inciting violence after one of their several riots in Berkeley in 2017.

It is worth noting that two days after the DNC vice-chair shared a picture of himself holding up a terrorist organization’s playbook, it has not been taken down, nor has the liberal media had much to say about it.

Now imagine the outcry from the liberal media if a prominent conservative politician held up a book endorsing violence by the KKK or right-wing militias.

Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter so everyone can see Democrat leader Keith Ellison proudly endorse antifa’s playbook as opposition against Trump.

Trump Has Bannon In His Crosshairs

After making unreasonable comments about Jared Kushner and Donald Trump Jr., President Trump responded personally to Steve Bannon.
According to Sarah Sanders, President Trump stated “Steve doesn’t represent my base—he’s only in it for himself.” Along with this, the President accused Bannon of being responsible for leaking fake information to the media.
Here is the full text,
Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.
Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans. Steve doesn’t represent my base—he’s only in it for himself.
Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, who he helped write phony books.
We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down.

Study Finds 25 Percent DACA Illegals Are Illiterate

A shocking study recently found that almost 25 percent of illegal aliens who are eligible for Obama’s DACA program are “functionally illiterate” when it comes to speaking english.
According to the research of Steven Camarota from the Center for Immigration Studies, the proficiency skills of most illegal aliens are labeled as “below basic” or “functionally illiterate,” although they would like us to believe otherwise.
Camarota wrote,
Even those numbers could exaggerate the level of assimilation. As mentioned above, a high-school diploma has become so commonplace among today’s youth (due in large part to watered-down standards) that it is no longer a strong indicator of skills. Similarly, CIS research has shown that immigrants tend to overstate their English ability. When Hispanic immigrants, who make up some 80 to 90 percent of DACA recipients, recently took an objective test of English literacy, 44 percent of those who said they speak English “well” or “very well” actually scored “below basic” — a level sometimes described as functional illiteracy. Based on test-takers with the required age and residency, I estimate that perhaps 24 percent of the DACA-eligible population fall into the functionally illiterate category and another 46 percent have only “basic” English ability.

Outrage in Turkey After State Agency Says Girls Can Marry From Age Nine

by BREITBART JERUSALEM

child bride
ANKARA, Turkey (AFP) — Turkey’s religious affairs state agency came under heavy criticism on Thursday from the main opposition party after it said girls as young as nine could marry under Islamic law.
The Diyanet religious affairs directorate said on Tuesday the minimum age for girls to marry was nine, while for boys it was 12, according to Turkish media including the Hurriyet daily quoting the agency’s official website.
The post, which took the form of an explanatory statement on Islamic law, has since been taken down, after a backlash from the opposition and women’s rights groups.
The head of the High Commission of Religious Affairs Ekrem Keles on Thursday told Hurriyet that the earliest age for a girl to marry is 17 and 18 for a boy.
“Forget a nine or a 10 year old child marrying, a child at 15 should not marry and should not be married,” he said.
The legal age to get married in Turkey is 18.
But Turkish law says that in an extraordinary circumstance, a judge can give permission for a male and female aged 16 to marry.
The controversy touched a nerve in Turkey, where child marriages are not uncommon and the fight continues to raise girls’ level of education.
Main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) lawmaker Gaye Usluer accused the government of being “more interested in how to marry children at a young age when there needs to be talk on children’s education, health.”
Meanwhile CHP lawmaker Murat Bakan on Twitter said child marriages “violates children’s rights, women’s rights and human rights.” adding that the party had called for a parliamentary investigation into child marriages.
Women’s rights groups also criticized the agency, which is similar to a religious affairs ministry, accusing it of trying to legitimize child abuse and urging Diyanet to “get their hands off our children.”
The ministry said it had “never and will never approve early marriages” in a statement, saying it was only defining Islamic law.
“Forcing girls to marry before psychological and biological maturity, and before they obtain the responsibility to become a mother and form a family is not compatible with Islam which says will and consent are conditions for marriage,” it added.
Women’s groups as well as Usluer raised concern over Diyanet’s move coming after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan approved a controversial law in November allowing state-approved clerics to conduct marriage ceremonies.
“When we said ‘if you give muftis [clerics employed by Diyanet] the power to conduct marriages, the issue of child brides will increase,’ this is what we meant,” she said, according to CHP’s website.
Opponents often claim that Erdogan and his Islamic-rooted Justice and Development Party are attacking the republic’s secular foundations, claims dismissed by the government.
In 2016, the government was forced to throw out a bill that could have pardoned men convicted of child-sex assault after a public outcry.

New England Liberals Shut Down Coal Power Plants, Now They’re at Risk of Freezing

New England Power Companies Struggling To Meet Winter Demands

Because of years of left-wing environmentalism being forced on power companies in New England, these energy suppliers are now struggling to fulfill the demands of local residents seeking to merely stay warm during this intense winter.
“Officials at ISO-New England, operators of the region’s power grid, said energy demands during the recent arctic weather have placed major pressures on energy generators, forcing power companies to rely more on coal and oil to produce electricity,” the Hartford Courant reported this week.
The Courant further noted that though energy industry officials have for years recommended that New England fix its energy problems by, at the very least, constructing new natural gas pipelines, such proposals have “been blocked or withdrawn” mainly because of opposition from environmental groups.
State and federal regulations haven’t helped either. Speaking of which, these very regulations could now pose a major concern for locals.
“Environmental limitation on how much, or whether, some oil-fired power plants will be able to generate electricity could become a concern this week and for the remainder of the winter,” explained ISO-New England spokeswoman Marcia Blomberg in an email to Boston station WCVB.
It sounds like that’s not going to be good for anyone.
To really understand what’s happening in New England, however, you need to first be aware of how the region got to this point.
Writing for Scientific American four years ago, LIndsey Konkel explained how “(s)tringent environmental regulations and a steep drop in the cost of natural gas” spurred officials in New England to push away from coal and embrace natural gas.
“In 2000, coal accounted for roughly 18 percent of the region’s electricity generation while natural gas accounted for about 15 percent,” she wrote. “In 2012, just 3 percent of New England’s electricity was generated by coal, while 52 percent came from natural gas.”
While the increased reliance on natural gas isn’t a bad thing, the decreased reliance on coal is. What’s ironic is that liberals have complained about the gas as well.
“Natural gas is killing coal plants, but more natural gas infrastructure may be adverse to health and climate in the long run,” Konkel quoted N. Jonathan Peres, an attorney for the Boston-based Conservation Law Foundation.
This is why multiple pipeline projects have been killed over the past few years, including one that “would have expanded an existing New England pipeline and was expected to save customers $1 billion a year,” as noted by The Daily Caller.
See the problem? The liberals in New England want nothing to do with coal, but they also want very little to do with natural gas as well.
And now, thanks to these liberals’ short sightedness, power companies in New England are functioning at full capacity, struggling to provide locals with heat.
FYI, as of Saturday morning, the temperature is Boston is 10 degrees Fahrenheit, with an estimated low of -6 degrees expected, according to AccuWeather.
I sincerely hope the power companies in New England remain operational through this bad weather, but at this point there’s no telling what might happen.
Please share this story on Facebook and Twitter and let us know what you think about the energy woes affecting power companies in New England.
What do you think about the predicament New England residents now find themselves in?

President Trump: 'Mexico Will Pay for the Wall'

President Donald Trump reiterated Saturday that Mexico will pay for the wall on the southern U.S. border, despite repeated denials by Mexican officials.
"I believe that Mexico will pay for the wall," Trump told reporters at Camp David in Maryland, where he is meeting with Republican leaders. "I have a very good relationship with Mexico.
"As you know, we're negotiating NAFTA," he added. "We'll see how that goes.
"But Mexico will pay. In some form, Mexico will pay for the wall."
Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has said that his country will not pay for a wall, saying in his annual address last January that Mexico "will not pay for any wall."
President Trump this week asked Congress for $18 billion to pay for the first phase of the wall's construction. The figure was first reported Friday by The Wall Street Journal.
Trump has told Democrats that he will not sign any bill regarding protections under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program without funding for the wall being including in the legislation.
DACA, which allows people brought to the United States illegally as children to remain under certain conditions, ends on March 6.
In September, Trump gave Congress six months to come up with a solution to protect as many as 800,000 people who are benefitting from the program.
The president met with Senate Republicans on Thursday to discuss ways to fix DACA.

Tucker: If Republicans betray Americans on immigration, “they’re toast”

Tucker: If Republicans betray Americans on immigration, “they’re toast”Gage Skidmore / CCL
Fox News host Tucker Carlson has a message for congressional Republicans who are considering returning to their old ways and compromising on an issue upon which their voters are tired of compromise. If the GOP folds on immigration reform, promised Carlson, they can say goodbye to support from American voters — along with their majority in the House and Senate.

Do or die

If Republicans betray voters on immigration,” Carlson promised, “they’re toast.”
Watch the Fox News star’s analysis below:
Republican lawmakers are on a clock that expires on March 5 for DACA reform. DACA. (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), the Obama-era executive action protecting hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants who were brought to America as children, is set to expire then. After ordering a halt to future DACA applications, President Donald Trump punted the politically corrosive issue for Congress to decide before the impending March sunset.
Carlson believes that negotiating a deal save DACA recipients from deportation is “reasonable,” but he believes any compromise should be accompanied by “real and long-term immigration reforms.”
Carlson made the case for a meaningful political settlement during a Friday night airing of “Tucker Carlson Tonight:”
America deserves real borders and policies that put American interests first, instead of an endless cycle of amnesty coupled with empty promises of future border enforcement at some time.

The corporate lobby

Carlson’s statement targets the 34 House Republicans who penned a letter to House Speaker Paul Ryan demanding a legislative replacement for DACA. According to this letter, the group of moderate conservatives will kick the can down the road and refuse to make larger immigration reform a prerequisite for DACA replacement. They wrote:
We all agree that our border must be enforced … and our broken immigration system reformed, but in this moment we must address the urgent matter before us in a balanced approach that does not harm valuable sectors of our economy nor the lives of these hard-working young people.
Immigration reform was a key campaign promise of the Trump administration, and Carlson argues that the vast majority of Americans demand significant immigration reform from their elected officials. “Restricting immigration is a lot more popular, for example, than defunding Planned Parenthood or cutting taxes for the wealthy or cracking down on marijuana [or] bombing distant countries,” the Fox News anchor said.
To illustrate his point, Carlson points to recent polls from Numbers USAwhich indicate that a supermajority of Americans agree with the president’s position on immigration. Americans want to see an end to controversial chain migration and the diversity lottery programs, while supporting measures that require employers to use employment verifications systems like E-Verify.
The reluctance of some Republicans to pair a DACA fix with comprehensive immigration reform is tied to their relationship with business lobbyists who wish to maintain their access to cheap foreign labor. Their strategy is to concede minor concessions to the Trump administration in exchange for greater access to the pool of unskilled immigrant workers who come to the U.S. in droves every year.
Despite their economically stimulating tax bill, Republicans cannot afford to lose on comprehensive immigration reform — not after losing the healthcare reform battle in the Senate.

Federal Judge Obliterates Fusion GPS’ Attempt To Hide Info From Investigators
In Fusion GPS' vague telling, they've been nothing but forthright with congressional investigative committees, which came as news to those committees.

Mollie Hemingway By Mollie Hemingway

On Tuesday, Fusion GPS founders Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch wrote an op-ed for The New York Times. In it, they claimed they and their opposition research firm were nothing but an open book and were seeking greater transparency from three congressional committees who have been digging into the probe of Russian election meddling.
All three committees have sought information from Fusion GPS and its principals, who were hired by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee to do opposition research. That funding paid for the salacious and still-unsubstantiated dossier alleging treasonous collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. In Fusion GPS’ vague telling, they’ve been nothing but forthright with the committees, which came as news to those committees.
A spokesman for Sen. Chuck Grassley of the Senate Judiciary Committee reminded Fusion GPS that the firm and its principals routinely fought the committee. Spokesman Taylor Foy said, “Senator Grassley provided Fusion GPS an opportunity for transparency six months ago when he invited the firm to publicly testify at an open committee hearing. Mr. Simpson declined. When faced with a subpoena from the Chairman and Ranking Member, Mr. Simpson refused to provide public testimony, using his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination to negotiate for a closed-door interview. Despite his public statements, Mr. Simpson and his attorney demanded during the interview that the transcript be kept confidential. Mr. Simpson has refused to answer dozens of questions voluntarily, and has failed to provide the Committee with documents and responses to follow-up questions after the interview.”
On the other side of the Hill, it’s also been far from the picture of compliance and transparency that Fusion GPS claimed in its op-ed. The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence has spent much of the previous year fighting Fusion for access to basic records tied to the investigation.
On Thursday, a U.S. District Judge denied Fusion GPS’s effort to keep the House committee from bank records it sought. Judge Richard Leon, who took over the case after the previous judge Tanya Chutkan recused herself midway over unspecified conflicts, smacked down all four grounds by which Fusion GPS tried to block the congressional subpoena. That subpoena included requests for records of payments from Fusion GPS to journalists who have covered the Russian dossier story.
Fusion said the request for records lacked a valid legislative purpose, were overbroad and irrelevant, violated First Amendment rights to speech and association, and violated financial privacy laws. The judge disagreed on each count.

Lacked A Valid Legislative Purpose

Fusion tried to argue that House Intel Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) lacked the authority to issue the subpoena, in part because they erroneously believed he had recused himself from the Russia probe. Judge Leon cited the U.S. Constitution, rules of the House of Representatives, and the public record to throw water on the argument. He said that at no time did Nunes “recuse” himself from the Russia investigation, though he did allow other committee members to take charge of it while he resolved his ethics investigation.
“[H]e retained the power to issue the Subpoena at issues in this case… Indeed the Subpoena would be invalid without Chairman Nunes’s signature unless the full Committee authorized another member to sign it, which it did not,” Leon wrote.
Incidentally, Nunes was cleared of ethics violations in early December. He had been accused of sharing classified information when he revealed that Obama administration officials had collected and unmasked much information about Trump campaign officials and spread it around. The committee found that he had not violated House rules or any other standard of conduct.

Overbroad and Irrelevant

Fusion then claimed that none of the law firms about which the committee sought information contracted to work on Russia or Donald Trump. It also said that records of transactions between Fusion and certain media companies and journalists were “not pertinent.”
Judge Leon noted, given the balance of powers in the U.S. Constitution, courts are not to determine that legislative records requests aren’t proper unless they’re obviously irrelevant. Since the committee “has intelligence suggesting that Fusion directed [researcher Christopher] Steele to meet with at least five major media outlets to discuss his work on the Trump Dossier,” it’s reasonable to pursue records related to “various media companies and journalists to determine whether they, too, had involvement with the Trump Dossier or with Russian active measures directed at the 2016 Presidential election,” he wrote.
Leon noted that Fusion had multiple ties to Russia and the Russia investigation. Mark Elias, an attorney with Perkins Coie who represented both the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, retained Fusion for Russian opposition research. But Baker Hostetler had hired Fusion for work on behalf of Prevezon Holdings, a Russian state-owned company. In fact, this second law firm relationship led to accusations that Fusion GPS was acting as an unregistered foreign agent on behalf of Russia.
Leon also noted that it was unwise to allow the subject of an investigation to determine what may be investigated, particularly since part of the committee’s work is classified and Fusion would not know the complete justification for document requests.

First Amendment

Fusion GPS also tried to argue that turning over the records would hamper their First Amendment rights to engage in free political speech, free political activity, and for good measure they added free association. Judge Leon noted they simply failed to even try to make their case. Even if they had tried, while the work they perform may be highly political, the business relationships they form are not. He said, “[T]he First Amendment is not a secrecy pact!”
Judge Leon also dismissed Fusion’s concerns that the committee would not keep the information private. Fusion claimed that the committee had leaked the identity of their bank to the media, but provided no evidence to support those allegations. The judge said he needed evidence of wrongdoing by the committee, adding, “[t]his is especially true in light of the fact that Fusion itself has played a role in publicizing aspects of this litigation and the Committee’s investigation.”

Financial Privacy

Finally, Fusion tried to argue that federal financial privacy laws protected the records, but since Fusion is a limited liability company and not a partnership or an individual, they are not so protected, the judge ruled.
You can read the whole ruling here.

Muslim Lawyer Says Raping Women Can Be Patriotic, Now He’s the One Dodging Rape

BY KIMBERLY J SMITH

An Egyptian Muslim lawyer has been sentenced to three years in prison after he claimed that men have a “national duty” to rape women who wear ripped jeans.
Nabih al-Wahsh made the horrific remarks while participating on a panel on the Egyptian “Infra Show” on Oct. 19.
The topic of discussion was a proposed law on sex work, according to Al Arabiya.
Al-Wahsh denounced women who wear ripped jeans, adding that they were inviting men to harass them when they wore such clothing.
“Are you happy when you see a girl walking down the street with half of her behind showing?” he said, the BBC reported.
“I say that when a girl walks about like that, it is a patriotic duty to sexually harass her and a national duty to rape her,” he continued.
“Girls must respect themselves so others respect them. Protecting morals is more important than protecting borders.”
See his disgusting remarks in the video below:
This man represents everything that is wrong with Islamic culture in which women have little to no rights.
Egypt has a sexual violence problem, and it has been that way for decades.
This lawyer, and those who think like he does, provide a horrifying insight into the way many in these cultures perceive women.
Thankfully, al-Wahsh’s remarks sparked an outcry.
Egypt’s state prosecutor charged al-Wahsh with “publicly inciting to flout the law” and “spreading with malice reports and statements meant to perturb public order… and harm the public interest,” according to the U.K. Daily Mail.
Al-Wahsh was sentenced to three years in prison.
This is not the first time al-Wahsh has found himself in the middle of a controversy.
The Mail reported that last year, the lawyer appeared on a talk show where he argued with an Australian imam about Muslim women wearing hijabs. The imam claimed wearing a hijab is choice and not a requirement for Muslim women.
Al-Wahsh disagreed with the imam and became irate. In a moment of anger, he took off one of his shoes and beat the imam on the head with it. Al-Wahsh has also denied the Holocaust and said he would kill Israelis, the BBC reported.
When he finds himself behind bars, Al-Wahsh will be eating his words about rape as he learns to dodge rapists, murderers and other criminals himself.
