At least 20 dead, 30 injured in Texas church shooting

(KSAT via AP)Police responded to reports of gunfire at First Baptist Church. It’s unknown how many people were wounded or killed, but there are multiple victims. According to ABC News, at least 20 are dead and 30 injured.
According to the Wilson County News, the gunman allegedly walked into the church and began shooting. The shooter is now dead, police said.
Sutherland Springs is located outside of San Antonio.
President Trump said he's monitoring the situation from Japan while offering his condolences.
"May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene. I am monitoring the situation from Japan," Trump tweeted.
Vice President Mike Pence said he and Second lady Karen Pence grieve with the victims and "stand with resolve against evil."
"Karen & I send prayers to victims & their families in TX.We grieve w/ you & stand w/ resolve against evil. Thank you to the first responders," Pence tweeted.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott addressed the shooting on Twitter, saying the shooting is an "evil act."
"Our prayers are with all who were harmed by this evil act. Our thanks to law enforcement for their response. More details from DPS soon," he tweeted.
