U.S. Military Shifts Strategy to Total “Annihilation” Of ISIS
U.S. Gen. James “Mad Dog” Mattis recently articulated a shift in U.S. military strategy that calls for the total eradication of ISIS.
It would be an understatement to say that ineffective foreign policy and military engagement turned America’s War on Terror into a quagmire. But under the Trump administration’s new leadership, this trend is likely to change.
Enter Gen. Mattis, the most revered Marine of a generation known for pithy and forthright sayings such as “Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”
Mattis, who professes going into battle with a joyful heart, has implemented perhaps the most brutal and unprecedented strategy in American military history . . . total “annihilation.”
When President Donald Trump took office, he tapped his military leaders to develop a strategy for winning the war against ISIS and other radical Middle East insurgents. The White House refuses to discuss strategy with the media, saying they don’t want the enemy to know what’s coming, amidst criticisms of the previous administration’s free flowing information. But the American public has learned drips and drabs about how the U.S. military works these days.
After the dropping of M.O.A.B. (Mother of All Bombs) on a large Al Qaeda outpost, the public discovered that Trump does not require executive pre-approval of strikes. Generals and other military leaders have a free hand to engage the enemy in real time with tactics they deem effective. That is a major shift from the Obama Administration and one that has elevated troop morale. Basically, soldiers’ hands have been untied and the gloves are off.
That focus may be why U.S.-led coalition forces have been advancing swiftly on ISIS, and are retaking Iraq’s second largest city, Mosul, from the insurgents in door-to-door combat. But when Gen. Mattis hit the talk shows and doled out media interviews, his articulation of “annihilation” may have been mistaken as just another quotable moment.
What Does Annihilation Really Mean?
As a military strategy, annihilation ranks among the most extreme measures. It involves surrounding the enemy and not allowing them to retreat, creating a fight-to-the-death scenario.
“We have already shifted from attrition tactics where we shove them from one position to another in Iraq and Syria, to annihilation tactics where we surround them,” Mattis reportedly said. “Our intention is that the foreign fighters do not survive the fight to return home to North Africa, to Europe, to America, to Asia, to Africa. We’re not going to allow them to do so. We’re going to stop them there and take apart the caliphate.”
Throughout the history of warfare, the military goal has generally been to drive out an opposing force or seize and occupy lands. ISIS seized lands in its self-proclaimed caliphate and the Obama-led strategy was to drive them out in a conventional fashion. But combating an insurgent force that utilizes guerilla tactics allowed them to repeatedly regroup.
Of all nations, the United States should understand this strategy – it’s precisely how the country came to exist. The American patriots unseated the British using guerilla tactics in addition to attrition.
Listening to Gen. Mattis’ recent statements, annihilation appears to be the head-on directive.
“We should try to shut down its recruiting, shut down its finances, and then work to fight battles of annihilation — not attrition, but annihilation — against them; so that the first time they meet the forces that we put against them, there should basically be no survivors,” he reportedly said.
The Annihilation Effect
If you’ve ever seen a Western movie where they trap outlaws in a building, surround them and burn them out, that’s a good touchstone for annihilation as a military strategy. That’s basically what Gen. Mattis is talking about and possibly the first viable step toward ending the War on Terror.
Military leaders rarely employ annihilation as a strategy because the enemy finds themselves backed into a corner. Just like in the old westerns, the only counter to being surrounded is to shoot your way out. Insurgent forces understand they are left with two options: win or die trying. That creates the fiercest combat situation and can lead to high coalition casualties.
Unfortunately, the worldwide spread of murder plots against innocents has taken surrender off the table. For all practical purposes, Mad Dog Mattis has declared “it all ends now.”

Unarmed London Police Officers RAN AWAY From Terrorists on London Bridge

Saturday night’s heinous jihadist attack in London has not only revealed the truth behind radical Islam in Europe, but it also inadvertently exposed a major flaw in the world’s gun control laws.
Throughout the course of the Syrian civil war, much of Europe has succumbed to globalist wishes for relaxed, or completely open, borders. This flawed and careless maneuver has drawn the ire of much of the continent’s population, yet has been allowed to continue, unabated, for month after terrifying month. As Germany, France, and, more recently, England become repeat targets for international radical Islamic terror groups, the world is being forced to reevaluate its ability to deal with such enemies.
In Britain, specifically, there is a unique problem at hand. The UK’s strict gun control laws have made not only the citizens of Britain sitting ducks against armed terrorists, but the lack of deadly-force weaponry carried by their police force has created a singular, dangerous, and embarrassing problem as well.
“Guardian reporter Lisa O’Carroll is at Borough Market, where she says multiple stabbings have been reported:
“‘Witnesses said they saw two men stabbing people outside the well-known Roast restaurant in Borough market. A chef from the nearby Fish restaurant said: ‘I saw two guys with big knives downstairs outside Roast. They were stabbing people. The police were running away, they were community police. They were normal officers, they were running away.’
“’The guy with the knife was killing two people. We were shouting “stop, stop” and people threw chairs at them. Police came and shot straight away.’”
You see, many of London’s police officers are armed only with a baton and mace, in accordance with Britain’s ridiculously left-leaning policies toward firearms. This ignorant and shortsighted policy created an intense expansion of the time in which Londoners were in danger during the vile London Bridge attack this weekend, as average citizens were forced to fend off attackers that could or would have been incapacitated by the first police on the scene if they were carrying firearms.
There has been quite a bit said about the “good guy with a gun” theory of stymying terrorism, and while that often refers to the good deeds of a citizen, many Britons will surely agree that if these police officers were allowed the same allowances as other, more well prepared cops, several lives could have been saved.
Canucks Take to Streets To Protest Trudeau... Stand With Trump
Canada’s newly elected Prime Minister Justin Trudeau may just be one of the world’s most liberal leaders in 2017, and Canadians are not thrilled about it.
The young leader, whose boyish good lucks have inspired massive adoration amongst millennial female voters in Canada, has been on the left side of pretty much every other world leader in existence in his short time in office. While some of what Trudeau has been positive from a libertarian standpoint, (like his push to legalize marijuana by 2018), most every other move he makes is a direct slap in the face to conservative Canadians, including a recent piece of legislation that makes the criticism of Islam a crime.
Now, after terror attacks have gripped the world in recent weeks, the Canadian conservative uprising has begun, as 5,000 proud Canucks marched against Trudeau’s policies this weekend. Their ideal fit for a leader? None other than U.S. President Donald J. Trump.
“A group of up to 5,000 Canadian citizens marched on Canada’s capital on Saturday in support of U.S. President Donald Trump’s conservative agenda and against the liberal agenda of their own Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
“The marchers gathered to protest the country’s spiraling tax rate, its recent attacks on free speech, and the government’s wild overspending, Daily Caller reported.
“Event organizer Mike Waine, who called his march the ‘Million Deplorable March’ in emulation of the name Hillary Clinton made up for Donald Trump’s supporters, said he is annoyed that PM Trudeau gets a free pass from the Canadian media.”
Given the American liberals’ massive, violent demonstrations against Donald Trump in recent months, it is absolutely heartwarming to see our Canadian compatriots take up the cause in their own nation after sensing such lopsided media coverage and leftist sentiment.
Justin Trudeau, who truly was a novelty candidate during the Canadian elections, has been on an unprecedented progressive tear through Canada, attempting to recreate our northern neighbor in his own leftist image. Much like Obama in the United States before him, his liberal ideology and extremely ignorant views on radical Islam have turned much of the nation against the Prime Minister, citing a need for strong leadership and the end to political correctness.
Trudeau would do well to listen to the complaints of these 5,000 constituents.
One Witness Revealed The Awful Truth Behind The Trump-Russia Scandal
For months, Democrats and their partisans in the media have singled out Trump associates as traitors and collaborators with the Russians.
Congressional Democrats pounded their chests about getting them to testify and proving once-and-for-all they were in league with a foreign power during the 2016 election.
So why did the Democrats just make one surprising announcement about witness testimony?
Carter Page was a one-time Trump advisor and energy company executive.
He traveled to Moscow in the summer of 2016 to deliver a speech and his trip has been cited as one of the reasons the FBI initiated a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign and their contacts with the Russians.
The FBI even obtained a FISA warrant to spy on his communications – proving that the Obama administration did place Trump associates under surveillance during the 2016 election.
Page was supposed to be the witness who would finally unravel the spool of collusion and treason in the Trump campaign.
And he was set to testify before Congress on June 6th.
But then something funny happened.
Democrats blocked his testimony.
Page wrote a letter to the House Intelligence Committee claiming staff was preventing his testimony.
The Washington Post reports:
“PAGE SENT A LETTER TO THE HOUSE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE ON MONDAY IN WHICH HE CLAIMED THAT THE COMMITTEE STAFF TOLD HIM THAT HE “MIGHT NOT BE IMMEDIATELY AFFORDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS THE FALSE OR MISLEADING TESTIMONY BY JAMES COMEY, JOHN BRENNAN, ET AL. AS PER OUR PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT FOR NEXT WEEK.” PAGE MADE CLEAR THAT HE’S EAGER TO TESTIFY.
FOX NEWS’S “FOX & FRIENDS” MORNING SHOW REPORTED ON THE LETTER AND READ PART OF IT ON THE AIR EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.”
Trump responded on Twitter by mocking the Democrats and insisting the Russia investigation was a witch hunt.
So now it is reported that the Democrats, who have excoriated Carter Page about Russia, don't want him to testify. He blows away their....

Page has stated that the investigation is phony and that his testimony will reveal the illegal surveillance the Obama administration engaged in, as well as the false testimony offered by former Obama intelligence officials.
Did the Democrats cancel his testimony because the Russia investigation is now at the point where everyone must put their cards on the table and they will be exposed as bluffing?
Illegal Migrant Abandoned in Desert Calls 911 for Help

A severely dehydrated illegal alien called 911 pleading to be rescued after becoming lost in the desert near the Arizona border with Mexico. Human smugglers apparently abandoned the man and left him to die.
Border Patrol agents from the Tucson Sector, including a Border Patrol Search Trauma and Rescue (BORSTAR) team, saved the Mexican national. The man was struggling to maintain consciousness when agents found him.
The foreign national called 911 and told dispatchers he was lost in the desert, according to information obtained by Breitbart Texas from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials.
The Pima County-Ajo Dispatch notified Border Patrol agents after officials determined that the 911 caller was in a remote area west of Sells, Arizona. Sells is in Pima County. The remote community is located in teh Tohono O’Odham Nation Reservation which borders the state of Sonora, Mexico. The caller provided enough information to dispatchers for them to determine his general location.
Border Patrol agents found the man struggling for his life. BORSTAR agents responded with their emergency medical training, giving him immediate help. Agents called a Life Flight evacuation helicopter for transport. Life Flight flew the illegal migrant flown to a Tuscon hospital for treatment.
A statement obtained by Breitbart Texas from CBP officials said the Mexican national would be processed for immigration-related violations after being released from the hospital.
The release from CBP notes:
Unscrupulous smugglers often abandon migrants in the desert who fall behind. As a result, many perish every year. Border Patrol officials encourage anyone in distress to call 911 or activate a rescue beacon before becoming a casualty. In the fiscal year 2016 Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents rescued over 1,400 persons with many of those rescues conducted in the western Arizona region.
In mid-March, this writer reported Border Patrol agents assigned to the El Centro Sector found a four-year-old girl who had been abandoned by smugglers. The agents observed a group of illegal immigrants trying to cross the International Border illegally near Mount Signal. One of the individuals fled back into Mexico, and another jumped into a vehicle and absconded leaving the little girl alone. Officials later determined that the four-year-old to be a Guatemalan citizen.
Parents who turn their children over to callous cartel-connected human smugglers are risking the lives of their children, agents with CBP have warned. In order to escape, these traffickers will frequently abandon a child in a dangerous place to distract Border Patrol agents.
If a person being smuggled falls behind for any reason, such as dehydration, injury, or exhaustion, the coyotes will simply leave them behind to die in the desert.
Often times, the deaths of these migrants place financial hardship on small border counties near and along the U.S.-Mexico border. These communities often bear the cost of having to dispose of human remains of illegal immigrants left by these callous human smugglers. Breitbart Texas reported that Brooks County, Texas, saw an increase in 2016 in the numbers of deaths of these aliens.
“Finding the remains of 55 humans in this county of about 15,000 people is overwhelming for a sheriff’s office with seven deputies,” then Sheriff-elect Benny Martinez told Breitbart Texas. “When a deceased immigrant is found, our office is tasked with recovering the remains, identifying the victim, and burying the remains. With our very limited resources, this is a daunting set of tasks.”
By year’s end, officials in the county had recovered the remains of 61 human smuggling victims. The area 80 miles north of the Texas-Mexico border has become known as the Brooks County killing fields.

WHO: United States Among Least Polluting Nations on the Planet

Despite recent attempts to paint the United States as a major global polluter, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. is among the cleanest nations on the planet.
In the most recent WHO report on air pollution, the United States was listed as one of the countries with the cleanest air in the world, significantly cleaner in fact than the air in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the UK, Japan, Austria and France.
While France and other G7 countries lamented the U.S. exit from the Paris climate accord, America’s air is already cleaner than that of any other country in the G7.
Following standard practice, the WHO measures air pollution by the mean annual concentration of fine suspended particles of less than 2.5 microns in diameter. These are the particles that cause diseases of all sorts and are responsible for most deaths by air pollution.
According to the WHO, exposure to particulate matter increases the risk of acute lower respiratory infection, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart disease, stroke and lung cancer.
The report, which analyzed the “annual median concentration of particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of 2.5 μm or less (PM2.5) for both urban population and rural and urban population” found that the United States was one of the most pollution-free nations in the world.
The annual mean concentrations of particulate matter in the air range from less than 10 to over 100 µg/m3, the report states. At the very low end of the spectrum, the United States has a concentration of just 8, while China has a concentration more than seven times higher at 59, India at 66, Egypt at 101 and Saudi Arabia with the worst air pollution at 127.
“The mean annual concentration of fine suspended particles of less than 2.5 microns in diameter is a common measure of air pollution,” the WHO states.
The WHO report is corroborated by a series of other such studies on air and water pollution.
In a recent list of the 25 cleanest cities in the world, the only country to boast three cities among the cleanest on the planet was the United States of America, with Chicago coming in second place, Honolulu coming in fourth, and Portland, OR, coming in sixteenth. Unsurprisingly, no cities from China, Russia or India made the list at all.
Similarly, another list of the 15 most polluted cities in the world featured three cities from China, three cities from Saudi Arabia, and a whopping seven cities from India. No U.S. city made the list.
A third list, ranking the ten cleanest and ten most polluted cities in the world, placed two U.S. cities on the list of cleanest cities on the planet. The list of the most polluted cities in the world was led by two cities from China followed by two more cities from India. Two Russian cities also made the list. Again, no U.S. cities were found here.
With such relatively clean air throughout America, how can even reputable news agencies like Reuters continue spreading the well-worn lie that the United States is one of the “biggest polluters” in the world?
Rather than follow the time-tested practice used by the World Health Organization, which measures levels of disease-causing pollutants that get into people’s lungs, some have played a shell game, swapping a new measure of “pollution” based solely on emissions of carbon dioxide.
The problem with this ploy is that carbon dioxide is not a pollutant and it is dishonest to say it is. CO2 is colorless, odorless and completely non-toxic. Plants depend on it to live and grow, and human beings draw some into their lungs with every breath they take to no ill effect whatsoever.
Growers regularly pump CO2 into greenhouses, raising levels to three times that of the natural environment, to produce stronger, greener, healthier plants.
Current levels of carbon dioxide concentration in the environment are substantially lower than they have been during earlier periods in the planet’s history. Without human intervention, the concentration of CO2 has climbed as high as 7,000 parts per million (ppm) in prior eras, whereas at present the concentration is just over 400 ppm.
Some experts, such as UN climate scientist Dr. Indur Goklany, have defended rising CO2 levels as a good thing for humanity. Goklany has argued that the rising level of carbon dioxide in the earth’s atmosphere “is currently net beneficial for both humanity and the biosphere generally.”
“The benefits are real, whereas the costs of warming are uncertain,” he said.
While the United States must remain vigilant to keep the level of real, dangerous pollutants to a minimum, it may take some consolation in the fact that among G7 nations, it has the cleanest air of all.

If You See A Coin On A Headstone, Do Not Touch It Or Pick It Up – Here’s Why

As a consumer-driven society, we are taught that money can buy you lots of things. So when you see free money just lying around, your first gut instinct may be to grab it and run like the wind!
If there’s a lonely dime hanging out on the sidewalk, you don’t harbor any guilt about picking it up off the ground and dropping it into your purse. After all, there’s really no way to trace its owner. As the saying goes, finders keepers!
There’s also another place that you may spot a few coins, but it’s definitely “hands off.” Taking even a single penny is easily the most disrespectful thing you can ever do in life! At some point or another, most of us will find ourselves in a cemetery to pay our respects to a loved one.
There has been a growing trend to place coins on certain headstones. However, the groundskeeper or grave digger didn’t just empty their pockets while they were working, and forget to take their belongings back.
There’s actually a very special reason why those coins were placed on that particular grave site, and it represents something greater than just mere currency.

Honoring the deceased is an age-old tradition that goes back centuries. When it comes to pomp and circumstance, the ancient Egyptians were the biggest show-offs, and built huge pyramids to house their dead like royalty. Yet, even peasants from a hundred years ago could still hope to get a tearful send off and a simple burial in some type of dirt.
Ultimately, it’s not the size of the headstone, the cost of the burial plot, or even how many flowers and people show up to the funeral that matter. Because, one way or the other, all of us end up in the ground.
It’s what the living do for each other after we’re long gone that truly pays homage to our life and memory.
It may be hard to believe, but the humble penny says more about honoring the dead than a hundred million pyramids ever could.

Men and women who serve in our armed forces garner a certain admiration from their brothers and sisters in arms. There is a tight fraternity-like bond that forms between soldiers that train or serve together. When a soldier passes into the great beyond, their loving military family still honors them here on Earth.
While deceased military heroes don’t get their own pyramid, they do get something even better than that – the everlasting respect and love of their military brothers and sisters. That, my friends, is worth more than any treasure in the world.
The fact that the coins themselves don’t have much monetary value doesn’t belittle what it symbolizes. Its true value is in helping to soothe the broken hearts of the soldier’s grieving family members.

When Dave Malenfant was visiting the National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, he noticed that some coins were gently placed on top of the headstones. He was touched, and instinctively knew there was a deeper meaning behind the gesture. Wondering what the coins meant, he decided to investigate it further.
What he found is quite astonishing!
“A coin left on a headstone lets the deceased soldiers family know that somebody stopped by to pay their respect.”
Yet, each coin actually has its own meaning in and of itself.

Here’s what Dave discovered when he researched the meaning of the coins:
Leaving a penny on the gravestone means that you paid your soldier friend a visit.
A nickel means that you and your fallen soldier buddy both went to the same boot camp or other military training course together.
If you were lucky enough to have served with the soldier, then you leave a dime.
This next one is going to make you cry. You better make sure you’re not at work when you read this next part!
“A quarter is very significant because it means that you were there when that soldier died.”
Wow. That last one is actually pretty intense. Dave went on to say that he was very proud to share this knowledge.

The tradition of leaving coins is not officially sanctioned by any branch of the military. In the U.S., it is rumored to have started during the Vietnam War. Because the country was extremely divided during this tumultuous time, leaving a coin was a silent way for a veteran to communicate respect to the family of the deceased.
Even though placing coins on a headstone is not an official military practice, I would like to believe that even high ranking Generals or Admirals have gone “rogue” on occassion.
Coins placed in National Cemeteries are eventually collected and go towards a good cause. The funds are used to help maintain the cemetery grounds, or it can even pay for the care of indigent veterans.
