Sarah Palin’s Response About Sexual Harassment at Fox News Raises New Questions

Fox News is in crisis mode, after their most famous host Bill O’Reilly was fired after serious sexual harassment allegations. Millions of dollars were paid to accusers and Fox News’ profitable prime-time time slot immediately had to be filled.
Now, we’re slowly learning just how bad the culture at Fox News was under the leadership of Roger Ailes.
CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Sarah Palin a sensitive question about her time at the Fox News channel as a full-time contributor.
As Tapper cautiously asked, “normally don’t cover a lot of media stories, but obviously the upheaval going on there with the CEO and its biggest star ousted because of sexual harassment, not just an issue at Fox News channel, but an issue across the country. And it seems to be, with what happened with Bill O’Reilly, really a change in corporate culture in terms of what is tolerated. What do you make of it?”
Palin’s response shocked everyone:
“Well I think the key there is, you said I used to be with Fox,” Palin emphasized, “I used to be with Fox. Corporate culture there obviously has to change, y’know, women don’t deserve, they should not ever have to put up with any kind of intimidating work space.”
“At the same time if a women believes that she is being intimidated and harassed,” she continued, “she needs to stand up and do something about it and not stick around for a paycheck for years and years and years. And then after the fact complain about what she went through. As a strong woman, I say we should be feel more empowered than that. And we should take a stand and get out of the place, or blow the whistle on the whoever is the perpetrator doing the bad stuff so that the culture will change.”
Palin went on to say how much she appreciates Fox News but noted the “culture had to change there.” Tapper tried to learn more, but Palin’s silence spoke volumes:
“Uhm,” she paused, “you can ask them why I’m no longer with Fox, uhm, y’know I’m not gonna speak for them. My contract wasn’t renewed, that’s um, that’s the line.”
“I don’t want to be a jerk,” Tapper continued, “but it sounds like you experienced something.”
“I just, y’know it was just time to part ways and, and, y’know, get out there, in a, I guess, a more diverse arena to express views and to speak for the public, and that’s what I’ve been to do now.”
Sarah Palin, a conservative hero who always speaks fearlessly, is clearly worried about the potential legal ramifications of her detailing what she thought. The video appears to show Palin in this interview hint at her directly seeing something wrong which she’s still not allowed to talk about to this day. Or does it?

9 Shocking Facts About Our Border with Mexico

1. It is common for the bodies of dead migrants to be found after starvation and exposure to heat on U.S. soil.
After illegal immigrants get past the river or fence, they still have to clear a secondary checkpoint by U.S. Border Patrol. Those checkpoints are routinely set up between 60 and 80 miles north of the border. In places like Falfurrias, Texas, human smugglers force illegal immigrants to walk dozens of miles through harsh desert-like terrain in order to get around the checkpoints. That harsh trek in addition to the extreme weather in Texas and Arizona often leads to fatal consequences where human smugglers often leave behind those who are not able to keep up with the pace. Unfortunately, the remoteness of those areas often leaves families searching for answers since many of the heavily decomposed bodies found in those areas remain unidentified.
2. The entire border is broken down into regions or “turf” controlled by Mexican narco-cartels.
Mexican cartels fight for the lucrative corridors into the U.S. and the turf they win extends deep into both countries. The Drug Enforcement Administration’s maps give a general overview of which regions specific groups control and the U.S. can be seen broken up into Mexican cartel turf. From the Tijuana Cartel south of San Diego all the way to the Gulf Cartel south of Texas along the Gulf of Mexico, each region is controlled by organized crime group factions operating under the banner of a Mexican “cartel.”
3. One U.S. border sector, Tucson, has Mexican cartel scouts operating deep within U.S. territory.
The remote regions in the Tucson Sector of Arizona have Sinaloa Cartel scouts who enter the U.S. and use radios to report on law enforcement presence for the purposes of guiding illegal loads of humans and narcotics into the interior of the U.S. These scouts are sometimes U.S. These scouts often hide near the tops of mountains and can call cartel strike teams to go after anyone who uses the territory without permission from the cartel — even though it’s U.S. soil.
4. U.S. law enforcement along the border are often afraid to be targeted by Mexican cartels.
Despite living in the U.S., federal agents do not want to be singled out by the Mexican drug cartels that they are fighting. Once they are singled out, cartel members are able to exact their revenge through various means. In 2016, a woman was arrested for falsely claiming that a particular U.S. DEA agent was receiving cartel bribes; the later woman recanted her story. In a similar fashion, in 2014, Mexico’s Gulf Cartel burned down the house of an investigator with the Starr County High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force, The Monitor reported at the time. According to statements made by the Starr County District Attorney, the arson was retribution for a series of drug busts made by the task force.
5. U.S. gangs act as enforcement and smugglers for Mexican cartels; this occurs along the border and as far north as Minnesota.
This fact is best proven by a news that broke in 2014 when a Sinaloa Cartel methamphetamine stash house was robbed in St. Paul Minnesota. The Mexican cartel hired gang members from California to fly to St. Paul and investigate the robbery. Two teenagers ended up kidnapped and tortured –one had his finger nearly severed from his hand — in the U.S. gang members effort to force the teens to reveal any information on the robbery.
6. Public corruption of both U.S. politicians and law enforcement officers is common along the border.
While corruption is present in every American city, federal authorities have noted a disproportionate increase of public corruption cases in U.S. border cities. Police officers, county sheriff’s, federal agents and other officials within the law enforcement community have fallen prey to the lure of cartel cash. One of the most famous cases in South Texas dealt with the Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe TreviΓ±o who was receiving funds from a Mexican cartel leader in exchange for favors. In addition to TreviΓ±o, his department’s street level narcotics unit and crime stoppers program were engaged in stealing drug loads and selling them on the side. The practice of using cops to steal drug loads continues to be in use by various cells operating along the border.
7. Mexican cartels are paid and fueled by illegal immigration; no one crosses the border without paying the cartels.
As Mexican cartels continue to exert control over their territories, their ruthless methods have since transferred to another of their money making enterprises; human smuggling. The presence of the criminal element has turned the “quest for the American Dream” into a nightmare. Illegal immigrants are constantly exhorted, the women are often raped, and anyone who dares to cross without paying the cartel fee faces serious consequences. Mexican drug cartels also routinely used human smuggling groups as diversions in order to move large drug loads over the river; some of the illegal immigrants who are not able to cover their smuggling fees are forced to move drugs.
8. Some factions of the Gulf and Los Zetas cartels routinely make as much or more from illegal immigration than from narcotics.
According to a report by the Texas Department of Public Safety, during the summer surge of 2014, Mexico’s Gulf Cartel made $38 million from human smuggling alone. According to that report, “nearly all illegal aliens who have illegally entered the United States made use of alien smuggling organizations (ASOs), nearly all of which are associated with Mexican cartels.”
9. Illegal Immigrants are often kidnapped by the cartels they are paying for permission to cross the border into the U.S.
In addition to the smuggling fees, which run from several thousand to tens of thousands of dollars depending on the immigrant’s country of origin, cartel members also make additional funds by kidnapping and holding illegal immigrants for ransom. Relatives are forced to wire funds to the cartel in Mexico to keep their relatives from being mutilated.

Young White America Is Dying of Despair

The death of the American Dream may be killing many young white Americans.
The death rates for young Americans increased substantially from 1999 to 2014, according to a recent report in The Lancet. Much of that increase was driven by the increase in mortality of white women aged 25 to 35. On average, 25-year old white women experienced an increased death rate of 3% per year from 1999 to 2014, according to the report. Twenty-five-year-old men had an increase annual mortality increase of 1.9%.
All other ethnic groups, apart from Native Americans, experienced a decline in mortality rates.
The fates of the less-educated and those who graduate from universities diverge in dire ways. Middle-aged white Americans without four-year degrees are at increasing risk of dying, a well-documented trend driven not only by drug use but also by alcoholism, suicide, and slowing progress against heart disease and cancer. Outcomes may worsen further as millennials—Johnson’s generation—grow older.
“America is not a great place for people with only a high school degree, and I don’t think that’s going to get better anytime soon,” said Angus Deaton, a Nobel Prize-winning Princeton University economist.
It’s too soon to tell whether millennials will die at higher rates in middle age than today’s 45- to 54-year-olds, said Anne Case, a Princeton economist who identified the “deaths of despair” trend with Deaton, her spouse and co-author. But in stories like Johnson’s, there are reasons to worry.
In other words, there’s reason to suspect that this is just the beginning.
A recent survey of millennials found that white millennials are far less likely to believe in some of the basic features of  the American Dream. Only 46 percent of younger whites agree with the statement that “I believe that everyone can achieve their dreams if they try hard.” For black millennials, the figure is 59%, for hispanics 56%, for asians 55%. White millennials are also more likely to agree with the statement that “the American Dream is no longer a possibility for most Americans no matter how hard they work.”
It is not surprising, then, that the increase in death rates of young white Americans is driven by suicides and accidents–which are largely deaths due to drug-overdoses.
The Lancet report points out that there are few precedents for such large increases in mortality in developed countries. “The magnitude of such increases is as large as those in two public health emergencies in the past: the substantial mortality increases in Russia during the 1990s and increases in mortality in individuals aged 20-40 years at the height of the AIDS epidemic,” the report concludes.
To paraphrase a groundbreaking article by Masha Gessen on the Russian death crisis, if this is correct–that white Americans are dying of despair, as they seem to be–then the question is: why have young white Americans been so overcome with despair in the 21st century?
Bloomberg quotes researchers Case and Deaton:
Case and Deaton have a theory for why mortality has risen for less-educated whites. For all the debate over whether college is worthwhile, high school graduates who go straight into the workforce have higher unemployment, weaker wage growth, and less chance of marrying than their predecessors and educated peers. Community supports have broken down, and as disadvantage snowballs, premature deaths rise.
This, however, only raises more questions. Why have the economic and social conditions of young whites, particularly those without a college degree, become so dire? And why isn’t more of an alarm being raised about what appears to be the greatest public health emergency in the U.S. since the AIDS crisis?
The Lancet study calls for “a rapid public health response” to avert further premature deaths. But what, if anything, can be done about people dying of broken hearts and shattered dreams?

Liberal sanctuary cities just got really bad news

Liberal led cities across the United States have decided to defy President Donald Trump’s immigration orders, simultaneously sacrificing law and order.

But Trump has had enough, and he just hit them with a warning that has these Dems shaking in their boots.

The Trump administration is moving beyond rhetoric in its effort to crack down on so-called sanctuary cities that refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities in Trump’s effort to deport criminal illegal aliens.

The Justice Department is forcing nine communities to prove they are complying with an immigration law to continue receiving coveted law enforcement grant money.

The department sent letters Friday to places its inspector general previously identified as having rules limiting the information that can be provided to federal immigration authorities. The liberal cities include California, Chicago, New York and Philadelphia.
Officials there must provide proof from an attorney that they are following the law.

It is an extension of Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ repeated threats to crack down on sanctuary communities by denying or stripping them of grant money.

Students at Harvard Told That Gender Can Change ‘Day by Day’

“there are more than two sexes”
Do you think the senior staff at Harvard Medical School would agree with this?

Campus Reform reports:
Harvard tells students gender can ‘change from day to day’
The office of BGLTQ Student Life at Harvard University has released a new school-sponsored guide telling students to “fight transphobia” and “get the facts about gender diversity.”

The guide, which was distributed to students on campus, declares that “there are more than two sexes” and that “gender is fluid and changing,” adding that someone’s gender identity “can be affirmed and/or expressed in many ways,” and can even “change from day to day.”

“Sex assigned at birth and gender identity are not necessarily the same,” the flyer begins, elaborating that anatomical characteristics may not always align with “gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, hormonal makeup, physical anatomy, and/or how one is perceived in daily life.”

It then segues into the claim that “there are more than two sexes,” but this time focuses on biological considerations, citing a post by the Organization Intersex International (OII) asserting that “at least 2% of people” are born with some combination of male and female genitalia, hormones, or chromosomes.

New Study Finds Unborn Babies Feel Pain in the First Trimester

ultrasound3d49

INTERNATIONAL   SPUC   LONDON, ENGLAND
That the nervous system develops sooner than thought could have implications for whether babies feel pain in the early weeks.
Although there’s no logical reason why a human lack of capacity to feel pain justifies ending the life of an unborn baby, it’s a common argument for why abortion is acceptable in the early stages of pregnancy. However, the prevailing wisdom that babies don’t feel pain in the first trimester may have to be re-examined, as Live Action reports.
Adult-like nerves
A study published in the Journal Cell on 23 March 2017 reveals that the nervous system of embryos and foetuses may be greatly more developed than was previously believed.  Entitled “Tridimensional Visualization and Analysis of Early Human Development” the study shows that unborn babies in the first trimester have “adult-like” patterns of nerves. Researchers “combined whole-mount immunostaining, 3DISCO clearing, and light-sheet imaging to start building a 3D cellular map” and found that “the adult-like pattern of skin innervation is established before the end of the first trimester, showing important intra- and inter-individual variations in nerve branches.”
It’s too early to conclude that the system of nerves observed in embryos and fetuses would allow the infant in development to feel pain. However, this new research shows that the nervous system develops much sooner than had previously been thought, which could point to pain sensitivity.
What evidence is there for foetal pain?
For now, it’s almost conclusively provable that preborn babies can feel pain at 20 weeks gestation, although they respond to touch as early as eight weeks. There is also increasing evidence that unborn babies can feel pain much earlier than 20 weeks — possibly as early as five weeks. Some evidence exists to show that foetal pain may be even worse in the first trimester, due to the uneven maturation of foetal neurophysiology.

Chinese Army Undergoing Huge “Reform”

A massive reorganization by the Chinese military has many wondering if President Xi Jinping has wider designs in the Asia-Pacific sphere.
According to Reuters, state media announced Tuesday that President Xi had ordered a restructure of the People’s Liberation Army “to transform it into a leaner fighting force with improved joint operations capability.”
That news, combined with previous Chinese commitments to strengthen its armed forces for potential amphibious invasions, is making a lot of China’s neighbors nervous.
Such preparations for operations abroad don’t augur well when it comes to totalitarian powers — particularly when you consider similar moves have happened in places like Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.
“This has profound and significant meaning in building a world-class military,” Xi said during a speech to the commanders of the 84 new units of the Chinese military. (Hitler was building a “world-class military” in the 1930s, too.)
China’s state-run Xinhua news agency said President Xi called the reshuffle “important in building strong armed forces through reform” and that it would “also have a profound influence on meeting the targets of enhancing the military in a new situation and building world-class armed forces.”

The new People’s Liberation Army will have a greater emphasis on electronic warfare, including through cyberspace, Reuters reported.
While this move on its own might not necessarily be cause for warning, one ought to consider the context of this.
China has been busy constructing militarized islands in the South China Sea for the purpose of expanding its maritime territory. There have also been recent designs on Taiwan, indicating a new focus in Beijing on reclaiming what it considers to be its historic territories.
There’s also been an increasing bellicosity from Beijing — not in the least involving North Korea, where China demanded the United States stop military drills with South Korea. To be fair, the Trump administration has pushed back with some success, but that doesn’t erase the problematic nature of the first request.
While one hesitates to compare any government’s military policy to Germany of the 1930s — and the disastrous results that followed — there are several disturbing parallels between China and the totalitarian powers that have come before them.
This military consolidation means that the Trump administration will have to look at China that much more closely.

Masked Terrorist Who Beat Trump Fan Reportedly IDed… Liberals Will Be Sick

BY WILMOT PROVISO

A crowdsourced attempt at identifying an Antifa rioter who beat Trump supporters with a bike lock in Berkeley, California, last weekend has alleged that the man is an ethics professor at in the Bay Area.

If true, and if a police investigation turns up evidence of it, it could mean charges are forthcoming against a respected member of academia — a public relations nightmare for the left.

According to The Gateway Pundit, the discovery was a result of a crowdsourced investigation on the /pol/ message board on the social media site 4chan.  Information found by members of the message board led them to believe that the attacker was Eric Clanton, a philosophy professor, and stories about the identification are multiplying on conservative-leaning websites.

And here are some of the pictures that online investigators amassed of Clanton and the attacker, which led them to believe that he was the man behind it:
There is a significant level of resemblance between the attacker — or what little can be seen of him — and Clanton. In addition, the Twitter account has since been taken down.

A similar profile on OkCupid was also linked to him, and apparently says he spends “a lot of time thinking about REVOLUTION.”

Eric Clanton okCupid profile: "I spend a lot of time thinking about REVOLUTION" http://ift.tt/2pEU0Pr …
The Gateway Pundit reported that Clanton was a professor at Diablo Valley College, while Clanton’s page on Rate My Professors said he taught at San Francisco State University, allegedly his alma mater. The two, it is worth noting, are not necessarily mutually exclusive; some professors teach at multiple institutions.
AnTiFa suspect Eric Clanton works for Diablo Valley College.
Obviously, social media detective work isn’t the same as the real thing by real police investigators. But if this is true, the fact that the guy is an ethics professor is the icing on the cake. Here he’s teaching our nation’s young men and women about judging right from wrong and he’s allegedly an Antifa thug accused of attacking people with a deadly weapon for their political beliefs.

That’s the definition of terrorism. Utterly unreal.

We’ll see how this story develops, but the strong resemblance, the comments he’s made and the fact that he’s already taken down his Twitter account make Eric Clanton a person authorities should at least be asking questions of. (Maybe he was on an OkCupid date talking about REVOLUTION — with a companion who will vouch for him?)

If he is the man responsible for this, we can only hope this Antifa thug is taken out of the classroom and put in jail where he belongs.
G’ day…Ciao…….
